Amazingly Juventus conceded more goals in 90 minutes at Cardiff than they'd done in the entire tournament.
I called it wrong but it wasn't an easy call and I did say Cristiano Ronaldo on his day could win any prize for any team.
Well done to all those who picked Real including Jordan and maccathered – and a shout out to the guy down my golf club who had a tenner on 4-1 at 66s.

I was expecting a cagey affair in Cardiff..how wrong I was. A very well contested and exciting first half followed up with a half of pure class from Real. They were a class above in the end and Juventus had no answer for them.

My original thought here was for Portugal to lift the trophy but I have a sneak feeling that

I remember a couple of years ago I had a punt on Racing Santander I think it was, everything pointed to a home win and the odds were extremely generous, I checked teams and stuff and nothing lead me to believe they wouldn’t win.. they were 4-1 down at half time and lost!
