June 27: Jordan’s Sports Tips & Chat

Jordans_SportsTips

THE British and Irish Lions’ midweek stars are handed the chance to repair squad morale after last weekend’s first Test defeat to the All Blacks.

The Lions face the Hurricanes in Wellington this morning with the likes of George North and Jonathan Joseph expect to start and stake their claim for a Test jersey.

Warren Gatland’s men are 3-4 at Betway for victory, with the Super Rugby champs the Hurricanes bolstered by the return of All Blacks such as Julian Savea.

The hosts are 44-25 favourites at Marathonbet and if you fancy a high-scoring encounter, it’s 10-11 at Betfair for over 49.5 points and the Lions are 8-13 at Skybet to score over 2.5 tries.

At the Eastbourne tennis Novak Djokovic warms up for Wimbeldon with an opening clash against Vasek Pospisil while in the second round of qualifiers, last year’s darling of SW19 Marcus Willis takes on fellow Brit Liam Broady.

Good luck with your bets and feel free to add  any sporting tips of your choice.

    Lions Tour

After a disgraceful wknd, looking to get back to winning ways. Hurricanes are a decent outfit, but without Barrett and Perenara they are without their main link. Fancy the Lions to come out roaring after the wknds defeat.

    Lions -3
    2.00 @ bet365

Like the look of the total too. Recent game at home against the Chiefs was a low scoring affair. Lions defence to nullify the Hurricanes attack.

    Total points under 51.5

A tad risky with Djokavic as Pospisil is in good form and Djokavic could be a little rusty. Still, I feel 2-0 is the likely outcome here!

Although Majchrzak won his two qualifiers in straight sets, I think there’s too much of a golf in class between him and Seppi who is 2-2 on grass this year, losing to Muller and Lacko, who are both high quality grass players themselves!

Seppi won both sets but unlikely we’ll see Djokavic on court again today as looks like rain all day in Nottingham.
