June 20: Jordan’s Sports Tips & Chat

Jordans_SportsTips

THE British and Irish Lions’ fringe men take centre stage against the Chiefs this morning in the final warm-up match ahead of the All Blacks Test series.

Warren Gatland will rest his first-choice players ahead of Saturday’s series opener so it’s the back-ups who have the chance to impress in Hamilton.

The Lions midweek team have lost both outings so far – to the Blues and Highlands – but are 9-20 favourites at Sportingbet for victory while the Chiefs are 12-5 at Paddy Power.

If you fancy a free-scoring encounter then consider the evens offered by 188bet for over 48.5 total points while Betfair go 10-11 for the Lions to score over 27.5 points.

Elsewhere, Andy Murray begins his Aegon Championships title defence at Queen’s Club against fellow Brit Aljaz Bedene and the pick of the other matches sees second seed Stan Wawrinka chalked up at 13-20 by BetStars in his battle with last week’s Stuttgart Open finalist Feliciano Lopez (13-9, Marathonbet).

There’s plenty more tennis plus cricket and baseball also on the day’s sporting agenda so as usual let’s hear your tips and chat.

Rugby treble: Lions to beat the Chiefs, NZ to beat the Lions, Scotland to beat Fiji 20/21 (Bet365). Lions -6 looks good & will wait till In-play but I expect the Lions to beat a 2nd string Chiefs side easily.

As @gunner mentioned, a weakened team for the Chiefs so i’m on:

    Lions ht/ft
    1.72 @ bet355

    Chiefs under 19.5 team points
    1.83 @ bet365
