Thursday’s Tips
Yesterday it was 1 from 1 a winning NAP tip, and while some may think it is risky on friendlies, I did back it up with stats and form.
Today I am on Roy’s boys at the home of football to beat Portugal. We will no doubt name our possible starting line-up for the Russia game bar Bertrand (if he gets the nod at LB). The formation is less certain for the euros as I cant see us going 4-3-3, as bar Sterling we have no real width and a injury to Dier robs us of our defensive midfield rock.

Morning gents, not a bad day yesterday with a nice treble and a single, but Belgium let me down, as I’m sure they did with many of you on here – as Mr F mentioned though, I only went small stakes due to the games being friendly, it’s just not worth the risk and I don’t mind losing as much them if that’s the case.

Not a great deal to add to what’s already been posted but that Portugal WILL cause England problems at the back. Jesus, Australia did and today’s visitors are in a different class even without Ronaldo, Pepe et al.
It may be a friendly but there’s no love lost between the two sides and each will want to come away from the game with something ahead of the Euros.
Portugal have the hoodoo over England and that coupled with the now obligatory comical defensive cock-ups, I’d be amazed if they didn’t score (cue the Laurel and Hardy music ?)

I am looking at two bets that are 2.30 & 2.10 decimal odds. I am wanting to stake £100 on each of them.
If both win i get my stake back and £240 on top so £440 overall.
But if i only place £100 and do it as a double i get £480 back.
Does this mean it is better doing it as a double? because if i do it as singles i have to risk an extra £100 to get less back overall & if the first bet looses on my double i would of lost it anyway by doing it as a single? If you do 2 x singles, then if 1 looses and 1 wins you will make some profit or at least break even. Doing a double means if 1 is wrong then you loose all of stake.

Looking at tomorrow cards there isn’t much on. I am surprised to see the England game over 2.5 goals at a whopping 2.50 Decimal odds, but this isn’t my bet.

I hope England don’t rob a first half goal and then sit it out in the second half. I fancy the game to be a slow starting game though as both teams are good and the chances of it being a quick starter is reduced.

Yes mate only because you said, how do you even know what players will be in our out is bizarre to me. One thing i cannot do is check team line ups and know who should be in the first team or not. Like if you look at the Starting line up how do you even know who is a first player or not? @jordan
Harry, I know this league well as I have followed it for the past few years. Follow the leagues well enough, you get to know the players, teams, and that’s how you attempt to get more winners. Instead of looking at random stats. All well looking at stats but if teams are down 5 starters and a coach then do you take those stats into consideration?
I get what you mean mate, and no the stats don’t mean so much if they are down key players. Wish i am able to crack this team lineup malarkey as it helps lots in betting and sometimes gives you the edge over the bookies. If someone showed me a lineup for this LA Galaxy game and said which are first starters i might as well ask a blind person to choose for me. I know Pirlo is a first team player, i think… for NYC and i have heard “Kamara” somewhere before haha. @jordan

Kamara plays for New England. Well I know for a fact the Galaxy won’t have Robbie Keane or Zardes as they are both on international duty. Kansas won’t have many players missing but they are crap this season.
