ELLIS and 1plus2 could be the site's answer to the Odd Couple but boy did they beat the odds yesterday.
Fair play to Ellis who bounced back from a unfortunate day in the snooker on Monday to put up a winning 8-5 treble.
And just as impressive was 1plus2 who posted a tennis treble that also slammed the bookies.
It was a good day all round for followers of the site and hopefully there will be some more winners posted for Wednesday.
Snooker Wuxi classic day 3 tips
………………….
*pay attention that these are early in the morning again****
SUPER SINGLE
Jack Lisowski to win vs Mark Williams 6/5
As explained yesterday Lisowski is proving a dangerous man to beat on the tour knocking in massive breaks and going from one strength to another, highlighted by his convincing win yesterday. Williams is a man low on form losing to qualifiers in his last 4 tournaments. I expect the confidence of Lisowski to see him past the scrappy play of Mark Williams, however, this is a small punt and on their days both of these players can be world beaters
TOP TREBLE
Stuart Bimgham to win vs Anthony Hamilton 2/5 — Bingham is one of the most consistent players on the tour and he made easy pickings of the Asian qualifier. Anthony Hamilton is known for a few shocks in these tours e.g. Knocking out Judd trump easily, however, he is inconsistent and I see about a 5-3 Bingham scoreline here
Barry Hawkins to win vs Cao Yupeng 4/11 – Hawkins was another player who put a solid performance in yesterday and I expect him to win over one of the better Asian players in Cao Yupeng and I expect his years of experience and sound all round game to see him past the inexperienced man from China
Ding Junhui to win vs Joe Perry 4/11 – one of my ore tournament favourites in Junhui, a massive hitter should make easy picking of old dog joe perry who is always a steady player on the tour, beating Mark selby recently. However I expect the break building and attacking play of Jumhui to easily get him through this game
Treble pays 2.60
Good luck everyone!!!
ellis sent you an email m8 just seen the post from yesterday
haha..:-) gotta laff at Ellis…”the players are struggling and complaining about the pockets”!!!…i take it only the ones complaining was the ones he tipped today that all lost?..the winners aint complaining i take it?? Dont think i’d be giving him a thread for a long time yet Mr F..id stick to posting tips like other contributors for the foreseeable.
Ooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh bit harsh guido ma man
Guido, Ellis has had good days and bad days like anyone else. I said from the start I’d be worried about the Wuxi snooker tournament because it’s a tough one. I appreciate Ellis’s efforts and he will be our sports tipster until the site changes kick in sometime in August.
Mr F,
Emailed you with a new prospect for the site
Ellis, pick it up tomorrow, was off tonight. Had a couple of beers and time to hit the sack. Good luck USA.
What is your thoughts on marco fu and Neil Robertson?
You shouldn’t ask me haha I’m as biased as anything. Robertson Robertson Robertson. I love the guy and he’s the best player apart from o Sullivan. I’m never biased but I always say Robertson. Any other game hahahah
So obviously you would say Robertson lol so I will add that to the 3 and make it 4. Thanks Ellis
Well after hitting a treble yesterday and Wawrinka’s original match voided due to his opponent pulling out then going onto win i can only think what could have been a 4 fold but often things like what happened can be a blessing in disguise so i was happy with the treble.
Onto today’s matches and after having a good look at the fixtures i like the look of these to get us some returns for our hard earned money.
1st up is Milos Raonic v Ivan Dodig. Raonic who is seeded number 1 and should despatch Dodig who has a pretty poor service % on grass and hopefully Raonic will take advantage of this as i reckon serve is very important on the green stuff.
2nd up is Fabio Fognini v Martin Klizan. Fognini has a superior grass court advantage over Klizan and that should set him in good stead here as with all walks of life experience is paramount to success.
3rd up is Andreas Seppi v Ryan Harrison. Same applies here with this match about grass advantage and Seppi is Ranked 26 where as Harrison is Ranked a massive 84 and has been going down the rankings since last year where he has plummeted from a career high of 43 to 84 so is going somewhat backwards and at only 21 years of age is not a good sign.
4th up is Philipp Kohlschreiber v Radek Stepanek. While Stepanek is a wily old dog of 34 and was quite handy in his prime i feel this is a match which he will find pretty tough against an opponent 5 years younger and seeded 3 for this tournament plus Kohlschreiber got a bye last round means he should be fresh and raring to go.
Single Seppi. 4/7
Double Seppi,Raonic. 1.19
Treble Seppi,Raonic,Kohlschreiber. 2.66
Accy Seppi,Raonic,Kohlschreiber and Fognini. 5.33
All with bet365 but tbh if you hunt around you will find around 15 Bookies with better odds than this but since i had some spare dough in my bet 365 account i just used them but i would advise shopping around for the best prices tbh which i really should have done here but hey ho.
1 Milos Raonic 2/5
Milos Raonic v Ivan Dodig

2 Fabio Fognini 8/11
Martin Klizan v Fabio Fognini
19/06/2013
3 Andreas Seppi 4/7
Andreas Seppi v Ryan Harrison
19/06/2013
4 Philipp Kohlschreiber 4/6
Radek Stepanek v Philipp Kohlschreiber

Things are looking pretty grim at the tennis with Raonic playing pants and a set down
Whoever decided to make Raonic the number 1 seed here needs a serious word with themselves :-(
haha for real
I have never seen a worse 1st seed at any tournament ever !!! really disappointed with this score Raonic was absolutely shocking.
Well lets hope Seppi comes in for the single at least and now i have done a double with Kohlschreiber as well to try and claw back what has went down the pan so far :-)
Total nightmare 2 day and back down take earth with an almighty bang :-(
As I said total mare 2 day with only 1 single winner which got me out of jail a bit but not good enuff 1 out of 4 and the so called top seeds performing well below there seeding.
Nice right up on mark Williams ,i don’t live far from mark had many a bet on him in years gone by,but I tend to do better betting against him now, seems to have lost form and interest lately.
Day of upsets again. Bad treble :( draw opening up nicely for ,y 5/1 outright to win though,,, Lisowski however is 3-2 ip
Ellis, did Lisowski win? I saw five minutes of his game against Williams when he cleared to go 4-3 and it was potting in the style of Jimmy White. Guy looks a great prospect and exciting to watch too.
Mr F, Sorry didnt see your post, no he lost 5-4 but I genuinely do see a future world champion in him, he is ruthless and he has made some pots ive never seen from a pro
to be honest these snooker tips are terrible, very poor prices and more often than not they don’t come in best to avoid them at all costs before you empty your accounts on poor priced trebles,at least the football and horses gives you better odds.
Stuart Bimgham to win vs Anthony Hamilton 2/5 *LOST
Barry Hawkins to win vs Cao Yupeng 4/11 *LOST
paul, I didn’t see your comment yesterday when Ellis’s treble won. Admittedly, the Wuxi games are tough to call and I said earlier in the week that short matches can go either. You seem to be aware of that so why have a bet?
Another terrible day at the snooker need another recovery day tomorrow. Sorry guys. This is unreliable ar the minute
Paul stay away from the page then, its for people who do want the tips. I have an interesting prospect for the site just waiting for Mr F’s feedback
Today Wimb Q will be played as best of 5 sets and it is good opportunity to grab some over 3.5 set matches with decent odds…
My treble is
Pryzesny,Munoz over3.5
Knittel, Cipolla over3.5
Brown, Korolev over3.5
Total odds@3.72
Both 6 players are not consistent ones. Pryzesny Brown Korolev have both mental weaknesess . Brown Korolev match is also close to a couple of tiebreaks so 3.5 over is also logical from this point of view. Cipolla is a kind of player who has too many good play in one set and awful then another. Pryz is better grass court player than Spanish but Munoz has won against decent rivals here so against unconsistent Pryzs he has good chance to grab a set here maybe a winner. GL…
Wimbledon doubles Q
Meffert/Oswald vs Symczek/Kudla
Meffert/Oswald to win@1.70
Meffert and Oswald are longtime partner and against American double has decent chance to win. Kudla and Symczek are playing single here also and this makes this bet more reliable…
Tennis 6 fold for me this afternoon I don’t do really do write up’s as people probably noticed but I do my research anyway here we go
Feliciano Lopez to Beat Juan Monaco
Xavier Malisse to Beat Yen-Hsun Lu
Petra Kvitova to Beat Yanina Wickmayer
Angelique Kerber Beat Ekaterina Makraova
Go Soeda to Beat Boris Pashanski
Tim Smyyczek to Beat Matt Reid
@ 5.62
I was actually thinking of opposing lopez after watching him yesterday on the basis if someone is more mobile about the court i think Lopez would struggle but he has a brilliant serve and that saved him in his last game.
Juan Monaco was 9/4 in to 2-1 bet365 and i am in 2 minds here whether to have a tickle here @ 2-1 now.
But whatever happens best of luck Titou m8
yet to place my bet 1pus2 im on in-play at the minute might wait & see how the match pans out before going in best of luck to you to buddy
Mr f did U see the email
I’m gonna be a bit more gentle now as the players are struggling and complaining something about the pockets being dreadful, impacting on pots
Ellis, as I said I’m not in until tonight. Taking it easy on such a tournament is probably a wise move.
trimmed my bet going for a 4 fold now
Xavier Malisse to Beat Yen-Hsun Lu
Petra Kvitova to Beat Yanina Wickmayer
Angelique Kerber Beat Ekaterina Makraova
Go Soeda to Beat Boris Pashanski
@ 3.03
Kvitova never looked at it today wish I her out instead of Feliciano Lopez Hindsight’s great isn’t it ;) lool
