IT was almost a perfect day but the Croats put paid to that with their capitulation to the Czechs.
My Daily Double was a fairly ambitious one of Italy and Croatia to win to nil but it looked on the cards until the Croats conceded two in the last 15 minutes.
Thankfully the
Super Single came up thanks to Spain to win to nil and they looked in good shape against Turkey.

Mr f, yesterday I placed a 2 quid bet on Spain to win 3 0 at 25/1 in my local Boyles. I went this morning to collect and was given 20 quid. Im feeling cards again in the Austria Portugal match. Austria are bottom with 0 points, Portugal 3rd with 1 point and Hungary top with 4 and Iceland 2nd with 2.
Both Austria and Portugal know that if either lose or even a draw is bad for both. Realistically they both need the 3 points. I think you are going for quantity over quality with your bets.
The best attribute a gambler can have is total discipline. This is something I struggle with especially in the age of smartphones.
My advice if you want it is if you are going to do big stakes perhaps do dnb or a trixe rather than a treble as some kind of insurance. Yes the winnings will be less but thats not relevant if your bet loses.
