Like most days the Euro fixtures are once again tough and I’m going to take a bet that I wouldn’t normally do.
Croatia play the Czech Republic which is a must win for the Czechs as a loss will see them exit the competition. While they were only beaten 1-0 by Spain, it could have been a lot worse and were never really going to offer much. Croatia played well against Turkey and again, 1-0 probably didn’t tell the whole tail as the Croatians had some good chances. It did however come with a bit of negative news. Captain Darijo Srna lost his father during the win and has reportedly said he will play today. If that isn’t enough to spur the Croatians to seal a place in the next round then I don’t know what is. A much deeper squad with better talent should pull through here and I like Croatia to win.

The second game in group D sees Spain face Turkey in what could be another team exiting early. If Croatia wins the earlier game, Turkey will know that a Spain win will knock them out of the competition. While that might motivate the Turks, it could play into the hands of the Spaniards who despite only winning 1-0 against the Czechs, played some very nice football in the process (not unusual). While the Spaniards will be calm and collected, Turkey might be too aggressive and could get caught out. I think Spain get a win here, and although I like the win to nil like Mr F, its not a market I bet on as you just never know in football. Talk of Nolito being replaced by Pedro as he didn’t really fit into the style of play vs the Czechs and that should bring a bit more experience and chemistry into the side. I can see Turkey getting frustrated and while Over 3.5 Total Cards looks a decent bet @ 5/6 @ 365, you might want to consider the Turkey Cards of Over 2.5 @ EVS @ 365. Don’t forget, a straight red counts as two which if was produced in this fixture, wouldn’t be the most surprising event with these nations/players on the pitch.

In complete honesty – I didn’t have much expectation for Italy this year. They’ve got an ageing squad and no real stand out players these days with Pirlo and Verratti not in the squad for this tournament, but, having said that – they played fantastically against Belgium in their opener. Yes, you could argue Belgium weren’t great at all but the Azzurri’s defence was supreme.
Italy can guarantee their progression to the knockouts with a win against Sweden today…Sweden wasted a lot of opportunities against Ireland and Ibra didn’t get the service he’s used to with PSG. He’ll need to be on his best form today against the likes of Bonucci, Chiellini and Barzagli but I’m struggle to see Sweden scoring here.

Italy came out of the blocks flying against Belgium and could’ve been 3-0 up at the interval (instead of 1-0) after which they continued to generate the chances before eventually scoring again. I can see them repeating the feat today against the Swedes who were paticularly nervy and sluggish in the first half against Ireland giving the ball away on multiple occasions and finding it difficult to put together sequence of passes.

A bet my mate got me interested going back to the 2008 Euros snd is something I do especially for big tournament’s like Euros which is perfect with 3 games a day is 3x correct scores in each game(9 results) which is 27x trebles. I use Bet365 but sure others will do it.
10p is £2.70…20p-£5.40 and so on,20/25p is my usual.
Any 3 combination lands from each game and its £€$¥ back. Bigger the score usually means better the odds and obviously better the return.
landed.it 3x so far this tournament for £81-96 and 74 back(real lucky with France 2-0)
Think its a good bet which has a good sometimes great return for small stakes and keeps you interested through a game or 2 or hopefully 3.

My old man does this same bet every week during the season and takes either 2-0, 2-1, 3-1 or 2-1, 1-1, 1-2 for closer games. He normally does it for 20p’s and has had quite a few up and if he catches a 3-1 it pays a great line, think 3-1 is usually around 14/1 and sometimes as much as 22/1. I keep meaning to do it but always forget.

John, what amazes me most is how England only drew with Russia. It was such a poor show in contrast to their victory over Wales which they dominated start to finish. Ive always had my doubts about Hodgson and Im not the only one as Joey Barton gave his opinion on him last night and its not good.
How you can take a player like Sterling to the euros with the form he is in at club level, hasn’t been playing well and no confidence, yet he is not only there but he has started both games,

Needless to say I woke up a little worse this morning, but found a lovely Café that served up a greasy full English and sunk 4 espresso’s. Our Fans were awesome yesterday and when Sturridge scored the tremors felt in France was electric. Singing our song don’t take me home until the small hours (even with some French fans) The Welsh talked the talked before hand, a battle of Britain they were a “team” but in the end we owned them, and made them look bang average. Big respect to the Irish as well great win for them.
Onto today and a believe the Croats have the best midfield trio in these here Euro’s in Modric, Rakitick and Perisic. They beat Turkey 1-0 but it could easily have been more and I expect them to qualify this afternoon. I fancy nothing that warrants a NAP or NB but I will risk 5PTS on Croatia 21/20 various. Mandzukic let me down against Turkey but I will chance him again 2/1 Bet365.

Fancy Croatia to do the business again today against the Czech’s – not a tip, but putting a few £ on them to win from the profits made today. Decent looking line up and the Czech’s must realistically win this to progress so they’ll be a little more open than the Spain game.
