England v Wales:
Set up for an absolute cracker tomorrow and on paper, England should have the class of players and experience to see it through.
The reality however is stark. For me it’s not so much about what Wales have to offer, but more about the distinct lack of any ‘gulf’ between national sides in the tournament so far.
That’s a compliment to the expansion of the tournament really…can anybody name a ‘lesser side’ that has been truly outgunned so far? I can’t.
As much as I’d like to think England will win hands down, the reality is that they will (as always) impress and dominate possession early doors but then lapse into Tournament mode and make little of that dominance.
My English rose tinted spectacles (more green than anything coming from an Irish family) were stamped firmly underfoot too many times in the 90’s and beyond to expect too much and athough it’s a little cynical, it’s enough to give my betting head a good, firm reality jab.
I want there to be goals galore and I hope there is but it’s a potential trap I’m swerving!

Another difficult card and it just so happens my four days off start today so I will be spending my afternoon on the silky black stuff (Guinness). Not anything I think you should put cold hard cash down but a price that sticks out is Ashley Williams to be shown a card.
He’s aggressive as it is in the Premier League so I’m pretty sure he’ll be fired up for this one. The Welsh played a 3-5-2 against the Slovaks but I doubt we’ll see that today with Englands ‘wingers’ involved. England should see the majority of the ball so possession should be high and frustration should come in the way of the Welsh. Nothing special, but for the price I am risking a point.

Morning all its been an interesting last couple of days to say the least. It is a massive game later on today as we look to pick up our first win of the Euro’s. All you seem to hear nowadays with the wales team is gareth bale a bit like ronaldo and portugal both are sides that think they are better than they actually are and today i think wales will come crashing back down to earth with a bang and bales comment will not have done his team any favours as i expect a mauling here.Hodgson is expected to play the same team that started the first game and if england create as many chances as they did against russia then wales will be in trouble and if england happen to be struggling to convert then they have an array of talent to call upon from the bench and this is the difference as wales don’t have the strength in depth as the mighty england.

Bet365 may be waking up to the first half corners trend a week in unfortunately although saying that every team playing today apart from Wales was involved in an opening fixture that saw six or more first half corners. Im happy to stick with this method today as at the very least it will be voided in the event of five being awarded and I’d expect England to probably get more than Wales in the first 45.
I think England can score 2+ against the Welsh based on Wales having a shot cleared off the line, Duda scoring and Nemeth hitting a post for the Slovakians whilst Rooney and Lallana may well have scored braces against Russia. Northern Ireland will likely do what they did in the opening match of being defensively disciplined but sitting far too deep in their own half before evtually conceding and leaving it too late to go on the offensive. Poland scored on the two occasions they met Germany in qualifying so BTTS has a good chance today especially after witnessing the unconvincing defending the Germans exhibited against Ukraine with Boateng forced into acrobatics and all sorts.

Watching England in the last game was probably the best football I’ve seen so far in the matches but we shot ourselves in the foot right at the death of the game. We had so many chances to put that game to bed well before that late equaliser, for me, very much deja vu ( I’ve seen it week in week out with being a Derby fan ).
Wales really stepped up to the plate in their last match and Bale having so many shots at goal has to be a worry. Sorry guys, but for me, Wales are still a one man team.
I think Harry Kane was played in a role that took him out of the box ( why have a goal poacher take corners??? ) wtf.
Both England and Wales in their opening games played so very similar in style, fast, one touch, lots of flick-ons and small triangles.
People in England are worried about Bale. So England have concerns about 1 player, ask yourself this: how many English players do the Welsh need to worry about??
The fact that most of the Welsh squad play their football outside the top tier and Englands squad play in the best teams in the top tier, you have to look at that fact when determining a winner.
No match so far has been a one sided run-away scoreline. So I cannot see this being a big scoreline. IF Wales do get a goal, I think England will bag 2. If they go toe to toe with us, it could be a narrow 1 nil win for England.
Cards in this tournament have been very sparse, so I’d forget about any overs cards bets, but I have noticed England have been running away early on with the corners.
I’d expect them to take the race to 3 and 5 cards with ease.

A resurgent England in the second half, we’re vastly becoming a 2nd half side. Great turnaround after a spirited first half display by Wales.

Thanks mr-f and yes i know, i was looking at over 1.5 goals at halftime and it was nearly 3.00. It is a great bet as there seems to be a flow of second half goals in most games. won a lot of money in December and withdrew money xmas week but left the original bank in my account so it was profit from December im playing with. and decided to start from jan 1st doing 3 banks mr f and gregs daily bets and my own bank. not doing it to make a quick amount and withdraw, im in it for the long haul and no plans on withdrawing anything, i look at it more as a little investment than anything. if i could finnish this year with the bank doubled i will up the stakes for next year and see how it goes.

OMG, the ref’s cards in the Germany game definitely he’s gotta be paid commission for every one he shows.
Harry, its been strange euros so far as two out of three – 1 involved two of the biggest upsets, Hungary and Northern Ireland.
Hungarys victory was the biggest upset so far as they qualified through playoffs as opposed to Austria who were unbeaten in ten.
This is in stark contrast to Northern Ireland who topped their group compared to Ukraine who finished third in theirs. With this in mind is N Irelands victory over Ukraine really that big a shock? I dont think so.

Elvis, after N Irelands first game defeat Michael O Neill made 5 changes to the team and what an impact it had.
O Neill is an underrated manager in my opinion when we see what he has achieved thus far.

Our defence has been solid and midfield solid too. Germany slowly getting frustrated. Someone on here said Poland were tournament bottlers. Yes we were before but not know with the team we have. We have quality players and really think we can at least get to the quarter finals with the players we have.
