DEFENDING champ Grigor Dimitrov bowed out with a whimper at Queen's Club on Thursday and three big servers hope to bash their way to victory in the quarter-finals today.
Third seed Milos Raonic will be confident of maintaining his unbeaten record against Gilles Simon of France. The Canadian has won all three previous meetings and is 4-11 at Skybet to make it four while Simon is the 12-5 underdog (bet365).
South African giant Kevin Anderson is 3-7 at 888sport to follow up his scalp of Stan Wawrinka by beating Guillermo Garcia-Lopez and fellow big hitter John Isner is 4-5 at Ladbrokes to oust Viktor Troicki (13-10, BetVictor).
Andy Murray completes the last-eight line-up against Dimitrov's conqueror Gilles Muller while the likes of Roger Federer and Tomas Berdych are in quarter-final action in Halle.
The group stage of the Snooker World Cup comes to an end today with Scotland and Wales all but assured of a quarter-final spot.
There's also the likes of cycling, rugby league and county cricket on the agenda so post your sporting tips and chat here and good luck with your bets.

Atlanta Braves ML @ evens (Lost 5-2)
Double @ 1.79/1 WON
Toronto Blue Jays ML (Win 7-1)
Kansas City Royals ML (Win 3-2)
Double @ 2.17/1 WON
Tampa Bay Rays ML (Win 5-3)

That was a better night for me 2 out 3 bets win
Thanks for help @ Jaseos for Royals/Blue Jays
Dazzler nice one 13 hits for Pirates and your double wins for you
For Friday nights MLB
I’m liking the odds on Texas and the Twins, think they do have a good chance of winning their respective games.
Double of Blue Jays/Royals looks good again.
I think win for Pirates @ Nationals without harper(injured leg last night) doubt they will risk him
Dazzler/Jaseos any feedback would be helpfull, cheers
Pirates @ White Sox
Pirates over 8.5 hits @ 1.9 *won*
With the double stake winnings I’m having a plaque in honor of Samardzija made up.
Pirates @ White Sox
Team to score first wins @ 1.37
Mets @ Blue Jays
Team to score first wins @ 1.45
Double @ 1.99 *won*
Dazid excellent work last night.
Dazid in regards to the Twins I’ll be backing Cubs over 8.5 hits @ 1.95. Hughes is like Samardzija and loves giving up hits.
Rangers are good value considering White Sox haven’t won in their last 7 games and Rangers have only lost 2 of their last 7.
Can’t say if Blue Jays/Royals is worth it as no price for Royals yet but don’t see why it wouldn’t come in again.
No price for the Pirates either but they should win too.
Early thoughts are-
Cubs over 8.5 hits @ 1.95
Padres to beat the D’backs @ 1.9
Blue Jays over 8.5 hits @ 1.83
Nice wins on the games yesterday Dazid/Dazzler, great work gents.
Dazid
Texas are in great form and White Sox stink. They also score a lot of runs against lefties. But I would be cautious about going against Sale. If he brings his A-game, he is an elite class pitcher and unhittable (despite getting little run support). At those odds though it is a tempter!
Twins/Cubs is a close one but with Hughes on the mound for the Twins, who gives up as many, if not more hits that Samardzija does, the Cubbies could run wild despite not having home-field advantage in a inter-league game.
Sonnyboy- I would wager it will take around 25 minutes for Siniakova to burst into tears today!
Could be a good match, I’m thinking Kerber 2-1.
I think I saw someone tipping Halep on yesterdays thread, but I think i’ll put my neck on the line and tip her to get beaten.
As good as she is, I think this match may come down to how consistently Mladenovic can play. Halep is vulnerable to bit hitters on fast courts, and grass is probably her least favourite surface.
These two have met once before, on an indoor hard court last year, and Mladenovic won in straight sets. I also have Halep’s straight sets defeat to Makarova at the Aussie open in mind, which is a prime example of how Halep can get upset by a player with a heavy serve and groundstrokes.
Halep’s consistency could prove too much if Mladenovic doesn’t stay focussed, but she’s been serving well enough this week to suggest she will be a tough customer for Simona.
I haven’t seen either play this week, so i’ll be interested to hear the views of anyone who has, but this is worth a risk from where im sitting!
Mladenovic @ 3/1
Mladenovic 2-1 @ 7/1
sorry, that is supposed to say 2-0 mladenovic @ 7/1, not 2-1.
her best chance will be in straight sets.
Tonight’s MLB bets
Cubs @ Twins
Cubs over 8.5 hits @ 2.0
Orioles @ Blue Jays
Blue Jays over 8.5 hits @ 1.86
Padres @ D’backs
Padres @ 1.9
Padres @ D’backs
Team to score first wins @ 1.43
Cardinals @ Phillies
Team to score first wins @ 1.35
Double @ 1.94
Not a good start….2-1 maybe!
Mladenovic was 17/1 after first set. Takes the second 6-0….hope she can keep this up.
Karlovic has gone overs and Anderson is predicably one tie break down already. Hoping
For lots more of those today!
AD as u know I am a huge fan of women tennis, nowt better than a grunting bit of fluff, I am not sure if I trust halep I mean I think she is the bird who had her heaving assets reduced!
She certainly did Dave! A shame for the make voueur, but she had back problems and it was impeding her game. She’s now in the top 3 in the world so I’m guessing she’s pretty happy with the decision!
gaelic Sports(football) Offaly to beat Waterford tipped earlier in the week at 1.54
Handicap is out now, I
Offaly -2.5 pays 1.80
Offaly -3.5 pays 2.20
both are worth backing as I expect Offaly to win by at least 5 points
Nice one Ad. Went small on your Mandela tip. Also got some loose change on overs in 5 games but think Murray miight ruin it like he seems to do to most of my bets.
On this tennis treble today:
Nishikori (WON)
Berdych (LOST)
Cilic (LOST)
2.02 @ Bet365 (ERRRRRM LOST)
GL if you follow
Cilic was always gonna be a bit of a gamble but didn’t see Berdych losing. Hit arocky patch of form of late.
Not sure her fella would be happy ad :) You wouldn’t get us blokes going to the quacks and asking for a couple of inches be lobbed off our captain, but that’s why we will never understand birds
true dave, but when’s the last time your ding dong got in the way of your sporting endeavours? It can’t be that big!
Karlovic, Anderson, Raonic and Janowicz have all gone over their game totals. just waiting on Muller (risky!) and Isner (surely!) now.
lisicki vs hantuchova
lisicki & under 20.5 @2.26
wta Birmingham
huge class difference here, hantuchova’s best years are gone a she can’t compete with class players by no means
could be flandroy, but experience has taught me that banking on Lisikci to get a job done simply is risky move indeed!
Something strange is happening, why my tips don’t get through anymore? Yesterday I posted 2 tips and now I was about to tip Muller +1,5 sets @2.70, great value tip. His serve was superb last game so that’s why I was on this.
reddevils, there’s been some problems with people’s comments not appearing. Admin are looking into it
lisicki vs hantuchova

Ok well, I just said something but didn’t come through as I was back on my normal network. Muller to win was @2.70 a minute ago and he is one set up and serving really well. Another good value bet.
Evening Guys, Hull KR v Warrington Wolves
The Robins host the Wolves tonight at Craven Park and it is a huge game for the home side as they push for a top 8 finish, it is the Wolves who are the 4/7 favourites
Hull KR will be without skipper Terry Campese which is a massive blow, whilst Warrington will be a little lighter in the pack with Anthony England suspended and Ben Currie ruled out. Currie as been a star performer for the Wolves this season but the Campese injury is the biggest lost for me.
Warrington are giving up minus 6 pts on the handicap and with only winning 3 away from home all season it could be risky, and Hull KR have only lost twice at home all season. I do think without Campese the robins could struggle here and it could be an away win and a huge dent to the Robins playoffs hopes.
In the tryscorer market this guy will be familiar and it is Joel Monaghan, he isn’t as prolific this season as in previous seasons but he as been playing in the centre, yet still boast 9 tries in 15 games and he scored in the reverse fixture earlier in the season, he is 4/5 Skybet, however I am taking the 13/8 with the same firm Monaghan scores and Warrington win. For the Robins I am taking full back Kieron Dixon he as 11 tries in 13 games and 7 in his last 4 games. He is 6/4 Ladbrokes.
My final selection comes from the non televised game between Wigan and Salford. Wigan will be looking to bounce back from their derby defeat and I think they will win big tonight. They not played at home in over a month and they score points for fun at the DW. Winger Dom Manfredi returns to the team tonight after injury and while he is too short anytime I will be on him to grab a brace. He as scored 12 tries in 9 games and scored in each of his last seven games including a brace and two hatricks. He is 7/4 for a brace at Ladbrokes.
MONAGHAN ANYTIME WINCAST 13/8
DIXON TO SCORE 6/4
MANFREDI TO SCORE 2+ 7/4
Good luck if your having a bet
$$$$$
A bit late for the party but well done done hoops men top stuff,
Only had 2 out of 5 before I left after game 4, a bit gutted as every one of the bets I posted for game 4 landed in game 5 lol.
Good coming back to the Warriors winning outright @ 7/2 :), and the pre finals bets I posted. A large stake on the -1.5 games handicap @ EVS :) and Lebrons top points scorer @ 11/10 :) , the correct score of 4-1 warriors lost though but I’m not concerned with that one
$$$$$
Amazing season gents well done Jordan Huggy especially top lads ,
Hunter and a few others aswell too many to name towards the end
Lots of guys catching on to the NBA Towards the end so I’m guessing there’s gonna be a lot of hoops men come next season , and to the guys who have just started watching the basketball around playoff time and thought that was profitable just wait to the regular season lads that’s where the money’s at it gets hard in the conference finals and the finals but everything before that is a breeze wich has been proven
Now then! The 30/1 big servers 6-fold is on! Just need Isner now. the last leg so often blows these things, but hopefully set one will go to a tiebreak and it will be easy to cover, or covering now is another option. I just did a small stake so won’t bother!
Pliskova @ 2.2
Berdych karlovic overs @ 1.80
Janowicz nishikori overs @ 1.80
all going on inser 2-0 here! 7-6 7-6 I hope
Boxing bet ( tomorow)
Andre Ward vs Paul Smith
* Andre Ward by Decision/ Tech Decision @ 13/8
Would not had place this bet if ward had not had a 19 month lay off , he’s gonna want to put some rounds under his belt and this has a great chance of going the distance and is also a good price , smiths not really a good boxer and is nowhere near the level of Ward but I think he will just about hang on with him
Would reccomend looking at cover in the later rounds if the price is good enough
Boxing bet (Tomorow)
I have gone large on this one as like the look of it mentioned above I think the Ward fight will go the distance anyway and Porter/broner should go the distance too ,The only chance that’s has not happening is if Porter gets a stoppage before it but I can’t see that happening
* Total rounds
Ward vs Smith over 7.5
Broner vs Porter over 8.5
Double @ EVS
decent value picks picksx
im all over ward on decision, i think its unlikely but good value, groves and degale stopped smith in a few rounds when they were starting out, so you think ward the best boxer in the world should be able to stop him regardless of ring rust.
the fight of the weekend is leminoux v hassan n’dam,
im on leminoux to win by ko @ 6/5
over 8.5 rounds for porter brook also, another 50/50 fight.
Mlac You’re right mate it’s worth a crack @ 13/8 , smith will get bullied all fight no doubt about it I think we’re more or less betting on how smiths going to approach the fight as we all know what Ward is going to do , ive seen to manys fight were world class fighters come back from lay offs and it goes the distance so I fancy the chances of it landing
Can’t wait for Ward / broner mate will be some fight that , I’ve changed my mind too many times on who’s going to win that one so I’m not having a punt on the winner
I’ve been looking at lemieux too if he’s going to win he’s going to knock him out the mans brutal, I have seen n’jikam fight though and he’s a decent fighter but that’s a good value bet
Dazzler & Jaseos Thanks for helpful feedback, much appreciated.
I’ve added lemineux KO to an acca im working on
Mlac who u think will win broner/Porter
MLB Bets for tonight
(Underdog Single)
Texas Rangers @ Chicago White Sox
Texas Rangers ML @ 6/4
Double @ 2.30/1
Toronto Blue Jays
Kansas City Royals
Double @ 3.35/1
Pittsburgh Pirates
Tampa Bay Rays
*Both Doubles are on ML
@picksix
tough call, i initially thought broner on points, especially with the catchweight factor added in, however the amount of people picking porter and broner being flat footed has swayed me slightly..
will be putting high stakes on over 9.5 though, this will go the 12, and small stakes on broner decision @ 15/8..2/1 some places..he is more skillfull but then again this could be maidana version 2..
I know mate basically a flip of a coin , if I had to choose though I would go broner , he was my initial pick but I’ve changed my mind several times since
Both fighters have so many flaws and yet so many positives at the same time it hurts my head trying to pick a winner out of that one , neverless im expecting a good fight
Top time:
Tomorrow I’m going for a double of over 21.5 in both women’s matches and a treble with over 21.5 in Murray v Troicki thrown in.
that’s it from me for now. A small bet on Troicki perhaps @ 5/1
TIP TIME*!
