The Spaniard, down to No.10 in the world and still some way off his best after injury and form issues, is 7-12 favourite at 888sport against the Frenchman who's chalked up at 6-4 by Ladbrokes.

I mentioned overs on sixes in the one day yesterday and it won easily. Bet365 have the line set at 14 (5/6) for tomorrow which is well below the total achieved in the last two matches. Mahut and Nadal both won easily enough (double was about $2.10). Mahut suprisingly lost the 1st set but wasn’t troubled from then on. Nadal looks to have hit form again as well – wasnt really troubled against Monfils.
NOTE:
Mahut is one to watch during the grass season, he has the skill to beat anyone in the top 10, even though he is ranked about 100. Phenomenal grass player, and bookies always have his odds too high based on his overall ranking.

What’s funny is everywhere I read people are saying Nadal is gone, but the only thing he struggling with is his conversion of break points. All his stroke plays and shots are as good as ever. He was on today tho, and o think I’ll back him regardless who he plays.
Afternoon Guys Catalan v Hull FC ko 5pm
Wigan let me down yesterday and after half an hour they didn’t look like they would, there was a decent cover on Saints but I decided to let it run.
This evening’s game in France is a crucial one for a place in the playoffs, with Widnes and Hull KR both breathing down their necks. Catalan are the favourites at 8/15.
Hull will be without Tom Lineham who this week announced he will be leaving then club. Catalan have their main guy Todd Carney missing again, while Willie Tonga and Vincent Duport are also out. It makes it a closer game to call then the odds suggest, Hull have won five of their last six matches, while Catalan are a different animal at home. Picking a winner confidently is tough however due to the heat and the style of the French side I do see plenty of tries, so it is the try scorer market I am playing in.
Starting with Morgan Escare, the dragons full back who through injury as suffered a loss in form. He has only scored 4 tries in 15 games this season, yet last season he had 27 in 27, but I will be on him here at 11/8 Skybet. I think this is a great price considering last season he was odds on to score in almost every game. He has scored 2 in his last 4 against Saints and Wigan and I will take the 11/8 gladly.
For Hull it is Fetuli Talanoa who is a beast of a winger. Catalan have trouble defending the edges and with Lineham missing Talanoa will be the go to guy. He as 8 tries in 14 games and in his last game he scored a hatrick in the derby against Hull KR. He also scored in the reverse fixture earlier in the season. He is 5/4 Skybet.
My final selection is my old favourite big Zeb Taia. He delivered a few times last season and is a contender for man of steel this season. He leads all second rowers in tries (11 this season) and with his size and speed he can cause problems especially when he pops up in the centre position. He is 13/8 again at Skybet.

Good luck if your having a bet
Nadal will probably play better the further he goes in tournaments. Grass also dries out so there’s more grip on the ball, thus making his spin more effective and the ball bouncing up higher. Probably why he’s sometimes prone to going out early in Wimbledon when it’s still slick.

Deontay Wilder vs Eric Molina:
This fight should be over within 3 rounds however I’m going for a first round stoppage. Molina has been fighting sub-par opposition since he was KO’d in the 1st round vs Chris Arreola. Arreola is a solid contender but not a world level fighter. Wilder’s record on the other hand speaks for himself. Even though he went with the distance with Stiverne last time out to win the world title his KO power is undoubted with all 32 of his previous 32 fights failing to even go 5 rounds. Once Deontay lands cleanly the fight will be over and with Molina being reckless in his work I see this happening early.
