IT’S week two of Wimbledon and there’s a busy day of fourth-round action as we head towards the business end of the tournament.
Andy Murray will have to overcome the giant Croat with the monster serve, Ivo Karlovic. Murray has won all five previous meetings and is 10-11 at bwin to progress in straight sets.
Karlovic could nick a set though and 3-1 Murray pays a tempting 3-1 at bet365. Top seed Novak Djokovic also faces a big hitter in Kevin Anderson while Roger Federer takes on Roberto Bautista-Agut and Stan Wawrinka hopes to avoid a slip-up against the tricky David Goffin.
Viktor Troicki’s clash with Vasek Pospisil looks good over 3.5 sets as does Richard Gasquet against Nick Kyrgios and Marin Cilic – who’s been unconvincing so far – versus Denis Kudla.
In the women’s singles there’s a battle of the Williams sisters with Serena 2-9 at BetVictor against Venus (19-5, Boylesports) while over 2.5 sets pays 2-1 at bet365.
French Open finalist Lucie Safarova should take care of Coco Vandeweghe and Belinda Bencic will fancy her chances of an upset against Viktoria Azarenka.
Elswhere today there’s stage three of the Tour de France plus cricket and baseball on the agenda. Good luck with your bets and post your tips and thoughts here.
