IT was a good day’s work for Johnb on Sunday with two winners and a second to give a 5.72pt profit.

Unfortunately nap couldn’t complete the full house and our man says: “Just a pity the jockey on Wicklow Brave started racing too early as there was no need for it.

“All that was achieved was emptying Wicklow Brave’s tank but as Meatloaf said “Two out of Three ain’t bad”. July now 7.22pts up, long way to go but I will end the year in profit.”

Loving the statement Johnb “I will end the year in profit”
Not sure if it’s bold, cocky or laughable a suppose only time will tell.
Nice start for the 2nd half of the year just another 300 points to go.

We are all against the bookies, the common enemy. We should all on here be trying to help beat the bookies. Much of the time they know way too much info how to stay ahead, that’s by fair means or foul. I believe they give free bets to stable insiders, whether trainers or stable staff to gauge market confidence. We should all remember horses don’t run any faster the more you put on. We can all give a well thought out tip that runs a stinker. Let’s all work together to make the thread a continued success and cut the bickering and negative comments which don’t do the thread any good. Keep taking a lil bit from the dreaded bookie chappies and stay positive, have a good week speculating, not gambling!!

punterpounder i have been gambling over 30 years now and i wish i could give them up its not easy but as i said in my opinion no one wins at this game not even johnb even tough he said hes in profit at the end of the year ,people that gamble dont just back horses they back on nearly every sport ,i take it everyone on this site dont just back horses what i am trying to say is the few pound you win today you give back tomorrow,we all get winners but we get a lot more loosers correct me if im wrong

That’s really strange plug. Just a few weeks ago you were saying anyone who followed hugh Taylor had made substantial profits for the last nine years . How’s that work then

For a start I have a few people on my books that do very well from betting
Just because 99.99% of people lose doesn’t make it 100%
I say 99.99% that’s only an estimate as I know some do win, it could be less
you say there are no winners at this game, what not even one, really

A reply like “a load of bull” is no argument to the discussion, it says nothing, it doesn’t put a point across it just shows someone that knows the statement they said was false

Ignore the negative comments John B. Everyone knows gambling is what it is… a gamble but don’t see the point of people coming on here leaving comments like that

yes rog i did say that but the point i am making is i am pretty sure everyone on here dont just back the horses ,they back on other sports aswell ,if you just backed hugh taylor or johnbs tips for the year you probably would be in profit ,but i dont think people do that ,people back on every thing these days ,and rog i think i made that statement because johnb said he was the best tipster on the planet , if im not mistaken just take yourself rog all the years you have been backing horses would you say you are in profit,

Actually yes because I don’t back I lay . There are 3/4 people on here I revere , l lay Favs if they put a fav.. up I take a second look . You say bookies are the only winners. OK you be bookie , the exchange has opened it up for everyone. Billy says jbs a loser , ok lay em , but please don’t come and say there are no winners , I have 6 years of spreadsheets I’m quite happy to share to prove my point

Disappointing result for Laura Robson and my first Wimbledon pick,
in my opinions he was the best chance Britain had for a long time to get a Women’s Slam winner
After all the wrist injuries that have seen her play in pain for a long time to 17 months out the game is hard but at least finally she can play without the pain, her game is still there and it’s only confidence just now but there were good signs today

For anyone that doesn’t know, I have advised the men’s match with bet365 because they pay you out as a winner if your player goes 2-0 up

Revival I’m on the fav but gonna tickle the spin doctors for the sake of their 90s hit.

On the discussion earlier I just wanted to say that when I’m disciplined I’m seriously up but I can’t do I get silly and start chasing and enjoy going on every race and when I win clean in a way I find it a bit boring. It’s different things for different people and thankfully I’m just losing winnings the. I get disciples and do the fight back. But I bet with a friend and I really enjoy and few drinks and watching every race. V hard to be disciplined and non emotional enough to bet properly. It’s an inner game maybe one day I’ll get the self control i need but I’ll def miss the thrill of wild choices.

Good luck all love the site and he tips.
