IT was a decent day with two winners from three bets on the Betfred Cup.
There was only one minor shock with Livingston beating Partick Thistle on penalties so backers of the short-priced favourites will have done well.
My Super Single was Hibs -2 and they defeated Montrose 4-0 while my 13-2 fivefold won thanks to St Mirren, Motherwell, Hamilton, Dunfermline and Morton.
Greg's double was also a winner with Dundee United beating Raith and Hibs v Montrose going over 2.5 match goals.
On Sunday there are some Scandinavian league matches to look at among others as well as the usual raft of friendlies. I've picked out a both to score double in the games at Ostersund v Djurgaarden and Molde v Stromgodset.
For now I have a Super Single and it's a tennis double – no tie-break in the opening set between Roger Federer and Marin Cilic in the men's final and Jamie Murray and Martina Hingis to win the mixed doubles final against Heather Watson and Henri Kontinen.
I have no stats for the tie-break but just think 1-2 for the first set not to be settled that way is decent value. However, Sean Calvert reckons there will be at least two tie-breaks in the match so check out his post. Let's hope they're not in set one.
Murray and Hingis are top seeds and have strolled through to the Final. They're both brilliant doubles players and should have too much class for their opponents.
