BOOKIES reckon the Tour de France is a fait accompli after Chris Froome extended his lead with a brilliant win in the Pyrenees.
We're not even halfway through yet but the Team Sky ace – who stretched his advantage from 12 seconds to nearly three minutes on stage 10 yesterday – is now just 1-8 at Betfair and Skybet to take the title.
Only a disaster can deny him now and the prices reflect that, with Nairo Quintana second favourite at 13-2 with bet365 and Tejay van Gardenen next in the betting at 50-1 with Paddy Power.
Today the race is still in the Pyrenees for stage 11 with plenty of tough climbs but a simpler finish that is crying out for a breakaway. The general classification riders aren't expected to dominate and Froome is third favourite (16-1, Paddy Power) behind Alejandro Valverde (8-1, Betfair) and Joaquim Rodriguez (14-1, Skybet).
Wimbledon champ Serena Williams is back in action at the WTA Bastad against Ysaline Bonaventure and Sara Errani tops the bill in Bucharest while the ATP event continues in Newport.
There's also domestic and interational cricket on the agenda so post your tips and chat here and good luck with your bets.

Break-away is expected so very difficult to pick a winner. My main bet is the match-up and 2 riders to win are small stakes. Hope they will make the break away.

I’m a bit annoyed tbh. The game was advertised as starting at midnight UK time, so top of the 5th should have come around by at the latest 1.30. But no, the game didn’t start till about 1.30 so I fell asleep and missed an easy cover.
Did you go with your gut and back the AL Jaseos?
Dazzler, I did mate but only stuck a fiver on it at evens and a couple of quid on each of the ht/ft picks you put up… End result, I’m a pound richer!!
I too planned on watching the start, then go to bed after a few innings but ended up seeing none of it. It made the “interest bets” a bit pointless really.

EIther man to win 7-5 in tight match 16/1 im on
Jaseos – Snap stuck fiver on AL @ evens too just for interest but couldn’t get posting last night, I only watched it till end of 5th inning as was working an early shift this morning.
Dazzler – I know what you mean, too much intro stuff before hand like most of the USA sports never start at the time there advertised
One small bet from me today:
Karatantcheva 2-0 Cirstea
Surface edge, form edge and h2h edge, home advantage the only thing putting me off.
It was 6-0, 6-0 the only time these two met in 2012. That was on a hard court when cirstea was in much better form.
2/1
Jesus, ropey start by kara to say the least. So many mistakes waiting in Cirstea though hopefully things will swing. Backing the comeback if this set goes then hiding somewhere in shame when it ends 2-0 to the Romanian.
Dazid – I’m impressed you managed to get half of the game in. I’m getting too old to see those hours of the day!
I watched the highlights this morning. Chapman getting up to over 103mph was good to see but my boy Frazier looked exhausted after his heroics in the Derby.
