THE French League was as expected was a slow burner last night! Ajaccio hit 10 corners to Brest’s one and 16 shots to three but couldn't score to bring in Greg's nap.
Greg says: “A 23rd-minute missed penalty in Austria cost me a 10-1 goal before 30 mins fourfold and 4-1 goal before 40 mins fourfold. Here’s to some better luck today.
“The Betfred Cup has been a bit of a shambles for punters with many of the fancied teams struggling! Going for goals today.”
Dundee v Forfar (3pm)
Dens Park isn't a happy place to be right now. Sold their best player Kane Hemmings during the week and there’s chat of Greg Stewart (their main asset) being next out of the door! This is a must-win for Dundee and despite the air of gloom around the club they should still be taking care of Forfar. Dundee have been far from watertight and there's a good chance Forfar could find the net. That should ensure we manage three goals.”
Kilmarnock v Albion Rovers (3pm)
Another SPFL club who have had a tough start to the Betfred Cup campaign. Killie manages to keep the wolves at bay coming back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 away at Berwick during the week. This is another must-win and we should expect an improved home performance from Lee Clark's men.
Back over 2.5 match goals double (7-5, Bet365) (NAP)
