IT'S only a week to the start of UK season but all over Europe leagues are getting under way and that's good news.
There are the usual matches in Scandinavia and games in countries such as Belgium, the Czech Republic, Austria and Poland. On Friday there were excellent tips on Belgium and Polish football from Mr Orange and Andrez and it's great to have that local knowledge.
Greg's Austrian tips were winners but Ajaccio were held 0-0 on a night where someone must have told French teams they'd have points deducted if they scored.
My Top Treble was beaten by one for about the fourth time this week with Shamrock Rovers drawing after wins for Bruges and BTTS at Kapfenberg v Wacker.
It's the final round of the Betfred Cup group stage and I've posted a separate preview. Celtic face Barcelona in the Champions Cup and I've put up tips on that too – but it's probably best leaving it alone until team news is revealed. Same goes for Real Madrid v Chelsea and Inter v Bayern Munich.
The both to score treble starts in Sweden with Gefle v Hammarby with both strugglers scoring and conceding. Hammarby's last six have gone over 2.5 with 16 conceded and Gefle beat Kalmar 4-2 in their last home outing – their only points in six outings.
Add the friendly between Rangers and Burnley at Ibrox. Mark Warburton's been moaning about his side not being tested in four Betfred Cup ties in which they didn't concede. Motherwell missed chances in the opener but they could have played without a keeper against Annan, East Stirling and Stranraer.
His defence should get a better test today ahead of next weekend's Premiership opener with Hamilton. Premier League new boys Burnley have said they'll field a strong side and I can see both scoring. It's Burnley's sixth friendly and both have netted in four of their five.
Complete the treble with Raith v Alloa in the Betfred Cup. This is a Group D decider with Alloa on nine points and Raith eight so Rovers need a win to clinch top spot.
Alloa have been impressive, knocking out holders Ross County with a 3-2 win and beating Montrose and Cove Rangers 2-0 and 4-0 respectively.
Rovers beat County on pens and edged out Montrose and Cove 2-1 apiece so all three of their games have brought up both to score as have the last four meetings in Kirkcaldy including two last season when Alloa were in the Championship.
For one Super Single I'm on Sturm Graz at Ried. Graz were impressive 3-1 winners against champs Red Bull Salzburg last week, blitzing them with three first-half goals.
Ried, meanwhile, were hammered 5-0 at Rapid Vienna after going down to 10 men early in the second half. They have notched one win in 10 meetings with Sturm Graz and lost three of the last four at home in the h2h.
Sturm Graz strengthened in the summer with six signings and if they play anything like last week should run out winners.
My second Super Single is a treble on three short-priced teams who need to win Betfred Cup ties – QoS, St Mirren and Morton. Check the Betfred preview for reasoning.
And finally I've added a long shot that will wipe out accumulator losses for the month if it wins. Each element has a chance but of course it's asking a lot for all five to come up – so consider that before having a go.

One thing that I find with the polish ekstraklasa is that either you get a boring game with no or just 1 goal or they go all out and you get games like 3-3, 4-2. A game I like today for goals is lechia Gdansk v Wisla Krakow. Both play offensive football but their defences are suspect. Both teams should be battling for top 4 or top 6 finishes and like BTTS in this match at 1.95.
