Time to win back the money I lost in the first leg. It wasn’t pretty and the bank balance took a massive hit but I’m hopeful of a decent return tonight. Just to make everyone aware that first and anytime goalscorer prices are available on the majority of the bookie websites. For some bizarre reason you’re unable to check best prices on oddschecker so it involves you having to trawl through the different sites to find the best price for what you’re looking for. If there’s anything I’m certain about its that a) Celtic will win, b) Celtic will not concede, c) Griffiths will likely score at some point in the game. With Celtic being 1/14 to win and Griffiths 1/3 to score anytime it’s hard to find any decent value. Even with the defenders I back for Celtic the odds are extremely short, however, Skybet are giving us a better opportunity to turn a profit. Griffiths is 10/11 to out score Red Imps. Considering his anytime price and the likelihood of Red Imps not scoring, I feel this represents excellent value. Even if Red Imps did score a goal there’s every chance Griffiths could get a double. I’m also going for a punt on Lustig First Goalscorer @ 20/1 and where I’d normally look to back him anytime, he’s no bigger than 4/1. Instead I’ll go with Lustig to outscore the opposition @ 8/1.
