IT’S been a good start to 2017 for Greg and he’s looking to keep that going tonight.
He’s targeting the big game in the Scottish Championship and while it looks tough to call he’s made an attempt.
Hibs v Dundee United (7.45pm)
The sold-out signs are up at Easter Road and Neil Lennon’s side will be backed by 18,000 home fans in the 20,000 crowd. Hibs have flattered to deceive this season huffing and puffing their way through matches and I can’t remember many games they’ve won comfortably.
They should be winning more games by a few goals given they probably have the fourth or fifth biggest budget in Scottish football. They had a great win away at Falkirk last time out and last season’s top scorer Jason Cummings is back in favour.
Lennon also have made a terrific coup in securing Kris Commons on loan. United have had a terrific season, they won the last match between these two at Tannadice and have probably over-achieved this season.
I don’t see them leaving here with a win. Hibs for me look a decent price but as I’ve done with my previous 7 bets in 2017 I’m sticking to goals and taking Hibs to score 2+.
It should be a good match and a cracking atmosphere. Hibs though have more quality through their ranks and should come out on top.
Back Hibs over 1.5 team goals
