IT'S been a poor 2014 for junior football tipsters Owen Scott and Paul Petrie who failed to finish with a flourish as Bo'ness beat both of their trebles.

William Hill's Owen has banked just £15.27 while Paul is on £153.20 to £10 stakes. The duo are hoping for better luck in 2015 and here's what they're on.

Owen writes: Happy New Year to everyone reading this and I really hope I can pick a few more winners in 2015 than I did in 2014.

I'm starting with the match of the day in the West and taking AUCHINLECK TALBOT 8/13 to win at home to Irvine Meadow. Meadow have been of the boil the last few weeks and will also have the 4-0 defeat to Talbot in the Scottish Cup still on their mind.

Next up its MAYBOLE 8/13 at home to Thorniewood. Maybole have had a strange season but seem to be finding a wee bit of form now and I expect another 3 points here.

To finish the treble off I'm staying in the West and taking LARGS 10/11 to get three points at home to Greenock which would see them start trying to climb out of the relegation zone.

Paul writes: First up I am backing Newtongrange to beat Penicuik at 8-15. Star are now third favourites for the league but refuse to go away and can keep the pressure on at the top.

Next I am going for Linlithgow to beat Sauchie at 4-9. It is Rose who are the new favourites to win the East Super League. I am confident they will go on to lift the title and these are the games that will help them do that.

Finally, I am going for Auchinleck to beat Irvine Meadow at 4-5. We actually had Meadow as title favourites but that has all changed following recent results and Talbot can add to their misery by beating them on Saturday

Wouldnt mind taking the boys on every week so here goes-

    Pollok 8/13
    Auchinleck 4/5
    Cambuslang 4/11

    almost 3/1 for the treble.

Willie, looks a solid treble. I’m taking Clydebank at 9-5 at Arthurlie if it’s on. We’ve got a couple of new players and out first 3 points in the bag – no stopping us now. Also won on all of our Super League visits to Dunterlie.

Not been on for a while first coupon for a few weeks. Off to the Pollok v Shettleston game today should be a good one. Todays treble for me is

    Auchinleck, Pollok and Linlithgow

I fancy Auchinleck at home after their demolition of Irvine in the cup tie a few weeks back, Shettleston have settled into life in the first superbly well but I fancy Pollok at home to stretch their lead at the top of the table, lastly Linlithgow need to get wins on the board if they are to challenge Kelty and Newtongrange at the top of the east Superleague.

£10 gets £45 back so hopefully a good start to the new year.

Hendrie89, enjoy your game and let me know how Shettleston look – we’ve got them in the Scottish Cup. Bankies games on so just heading off.
