GREG is proving he’s only human after a disappointing week but I’m sure he’ll bounce back sooner than later.
Last night’s two bets went down on the PSV match and he’s back with two tips on a French Ligue 2 match.
He says: “On a poor run at the moment, all of the good work in January has been wiped out in what has been a really frustrating seven days. Still time to turn it around starting tonight.”
Nimes v Auxerre (7pm)
All isn’t as it seems when you look at the French Ligue 2 table. The form team sit second bottom after an eight-point deduction but looking at Nimes’ current form they are playing like title winners.
I say title winners because in the last few weeks they have hammered in 10 goals against arguably two of the league’s best teams – 4-3 at top-of-the-table Nancy last week and prior to that dished out 6-2 demolition of third-top Clermont.
They welcome an Auxerre side whose best work is usually done at home (like most teams in this league). Nimes have scored two or more in six of their last seven home games and in the form they are in there’s every chance they’ll net a few again tonight.
