BOTH British No.1s are in Australian Open semi-final action and Johanna Konta kicks things off against German seventh seed Angelique Kerber.
Konta’s fairytale run to the last four has seen her play some excellent tennis and she can have high hopes of defying her underdog odds of 9-4 at Betfred.
Kerber shocked Victoria Azarenka in the previous round but the Pole wasted six set points that would have levelled the match at 1-1 and Konta looks good to at least win a set – which pays 10-11 at Paddy Power – against Coral‘s 2-5 favourite.
Then it’s Andy Murray against big-serving Canadian 13th seeds Milos Raonic who has raised his game and already taken the scalp of Stan Wawrinka.
Murray and Raonic’s head-to-head stands at three wins apiece, although the Scot has won the last two and should triumph again at 2-5 (BetVictor) providing his excellent return of serve doesn’t let him down.
Elsewhere there’s ODI cricket and the usual nightly batch of NBA action worth a punt so post your sporting tips and chat here and on the forums.
