WITH Andy Murray and Tomas Berdych storming through to the Australian Open semis it’s now a question of who will join them.
World No.1 Novak Djokovic is on court at around 8am on Wednesday against big-serving Canadian Milos Raonic in a mouthwatering quarter-final. Djokovic has won all three of their previous meetings and is 1-7 at Boylesports for another victory against bwin’s 27-4 shot.
Two of the pair’s previous meetings have included a tiebreak and for same again it’s 4-11 at BetVictor while for the first break of serve it’s Djokovic 2-5 at Ladbrokes and Raonic 2-1 at BetVictor.
Wednesday night then sees the first women’s semi-final, with Maria Sharapova 2-7 at Paddy Power against fellow Russian Ekaterina Makarova (4-1, SportingBet). Sharapova has a 5-0 record against Marakova, dropping just one set along the way.
Elsewhere today it’s the fifth and final cricket ODI between South Africa and West Indies. The hosts have already won the series and are 2-7 at Betfred for another victory while the Windies are 11-4 at Ladbrokes.
