Well, first of all, I HATE the Cardinals. No, that’s unfair. I HATE Carson Palmer. Absolute trash. Not only did they knock us out of the playoffs, but to go to Charlotte and put up a performance like that? Speechless. Panthers only went and brought in the total by themselves. Palmer throws 4, FOUR interceptions. Looked about as good as Brian Hoyer, and the only score 15 points. Palmer is in the naughty book. For a QB who was an ‘MVP’ candidate, that is just shocking to watch. Especially when I had money on them!

Is a game that is played with soul and heart. I belive the crowd is a major advantage, and Oly should win. At Oly returned Thursday Printezis, will be unavailable only Lojewski. Much more Oly signed with Kostas Papanikolaou last week, he returned home after two seasons in NBA. 3 the last 4 games directly the hosts win by at least 6 points so I see no reason why this does not happen today. ;)

Just a question guys ive been following this thread for a few weeks now how come nobody fancies spurs thus evening? Im new to nba and know that gsw are champions but spurs have been covering the line just as much as gsw if not more over the last few weeks?
Stewart, it’s a match of champion’s but there are a few things to consider:
– This is played at Warriors. Warriors are just as undefeated here as the Spurs are at home.
– Tim Duncan isn’t playing for the Spurs, he’s a veteran but he’s a real asset to the team.
– Warriors have two huge 3pt shooters : Curry and Thompson. You can focus defense on one but it’s hard to cover both.
– Spurs are the only team (imo) that can give a real opposition to the Warriors this year… this means that if Warriors want to prove they are the champions, they’ll need to win this game. Spurs have nothing to prove here atm.
In the end, it can go both ways :D but I like the Warriors.
Could not agree more Stewart, I definitely feel that Spurs need to be respected more. Tim Duncan or not, their bench is deep and they have every chance of at least covering imo!
I’m still undecided whether I’m going to be betting the spread tonight, one bit of advise if you are thinking of taking Spurs… keep an eye on line movement as you’ll probably get a better one later on as most of the public will pound GSW.

@oriaz. You missed out the most important player for the Warriors in my opinion. Curry I hear you ask? Nope. Draymond Green. He is invaluable to this team. I expect it to be fairly close but the Warriors will want a quick start which is why I think the HT spread holds value.
Also agree with Raoul that the Spurs have depth, but depth compared to the Warriors? Not so sure.
