MY only bet on Monday was a winner although the Top Treble became a double after the Jong Ajax game was frozen off.
On the night AFCON came alive with 10 goals in two games I was fairly conservative with over 1.5 goals at Senegal v Algeria added to Besiktas to win at Alanyaspor.
There are many more games to look at on Tuesday although it's not an easy card. I tend to ignore the EFL Trophy but anyone taking the games on should focus on goals rather than WDW.
That leaves five games in the Championship and League and I'll check stats in the RFO in the morning and latest teams news before deciding what to do.
Brighton will go top with victory at home to Cardiff and should get it but are without suspended striker Glenn Murray. Should be goals in the other game between Reading and Fulham.
League One leaders Sheffield Utd are at home to Fleetwood as they try to win for the first time in three and Peterborough travel to Oldham after a good win at Swindon at the weekend.
There are National League games too with leaders Lincoln at Barrow during what's been a hectic spell for the FA Cup giantkillers. North leaders Fylde are at home to Alfreton and I'm sure we'll see tips from HullShaker and others on these games.
On the continent it's mostly cup games – Napoli v Fiorentina, Alaves (2) v Alcorcon (0) and Bordeaux v PSG – so team news is vital. Alaves could be a shout at evens – they are likely to rest players but Alcorcon will have given this up and will play a weakened team too.
Half of Jordan's double is Zulte to score 2+ at home to basement boys Mouscron in the Belgian league and that looks a good shout.
The only game in Scotland is the Queen's Park v Ayr Scottish Cup replay and stats point to a low scorer at Hampden.
At AFCON any two can progress from Group C as Morocco face Ivory Coast and Togo take on DR Congo. Ivory Coast have been disappointing but must win to have any chance of defending their trophy so like Monday night there could be plenty of goals. DR Congo should topple Togo to clinch top spot.
I'm posting mainly goals bets today. I have two goals trebles or one should be termed a “not too many goals please” treble. I don't often tip unders but the games at Oldham v Peterborough, Queen's Park v Ayr and Togo v DR Congo look low scorers.
At AFCON only four goals have been scored in three games on a poor Port-Gentil pitch. Queen's and Ayr replay after a 0-0 draw that saw neither side create much and it could be tight again.
Peterborough used to be all about goals but barring a 5-1 loss at Bury it's now about defending. Apart from the Bury game their last four have been under 2.5 goals as have Oldham's previous five. H2h goes against this but as I said that was a different Posh side.
Also going with Peterborough as the Super Single. The Bury capitulation is their only recent league defeat and they should beat a side that's netted just once in six games.
For both to score start with Morocco v Ivory Coast which shouldn't lack thrills. Add Reading v Fulham with both sides scoring and conceding. Two of the last three at the Madjeski have been 2-2 and 3-3.
Complete the treble with Sheffield Utd v Fleetwood. The Blades have conceded nine in four games and while Fleetwood aren't the most prolific they have climbed to fourth and are in decent form.
The Top Treble is less ambitious starting with Zulte to win, Napoli to score 2+ (looks like they'll be fielding a strong side) and Fylde who have been well tipped.
My early-morning tennis Super Single was a loser as Roger Federer won in straight sets. Mischa Zverev, Andy Murray's conqueror, was blown away and his only chance was in the second set when he lost his serve trying to force a tiebreak.
So while the accumulators total looks good I want to tackle the Super Single losses and wipe them out before the end of the month.

As mentioned by Mr F and our very own Elvis Parsley on last night’s thread…can’t remember what Parsley picked so I’m maybe stepping on his blue suede clogs here (well, he is from Bangor)…
Not going to add much about Fylde other than what I wrote at the weekend; they are at once possibly the best team but most consistent ‘conceders’ in the National League North.
Once again, Saturday proved that to be the case and they eventually won 3-2 bringing in a multitude of bets including BTTS & WIN.
Alfreton are a team with mixed fortunes – they sit 18th out of 22 sides but have a number of games in hand over those beneath them…i’d say they’ll be safe come the season end and actually beat Fylde 1-0 at their place before Christmas.
The H2H porior to that was in August and finished a rip-snorting 5-3 to Fylde…more of the same please!

I think the bookies have been very generous on BTTS here, whilst O2.5 looks good and has also been included in accas by others. O1.5 mgls is 2/9 and added to Hullshakers Fylde BTTS you have a nearly evens money single. Google translate has failed to reveal any team news to suggest otherwise, so I’m going with the stats on this one. Racing Genk scored in 91% of their home matches. Kortrijk conceded at least one goal in each of their last 9 matches, but have scored in 82% of their away matches – including 3 out of their last 4 aways, one of which was against league leaders Brugge. I also looked at this game after seeing the odds for BTTS and have some team news.
After Genk sold Ndidi to Leicester, they are now going to sell their star striker Leon Bailey to Bayer Leverkusen. He will not play tonight, but they should score against freefalling Kortrijk. Kortrijk brought in striker Chevalier this January who scored in his first game on Saturday. They will also have their playmaker Kage back who was not in the squad this weekend due to sickness.
Genk got a new manager just before christmas (Stuivenberg) and they have a more attacking approach now. The old manager was sacked because of their bad results and his defensive tactics.
I still think BTTS is a very good bet at that price. Kortrijk isn’t that bad and should be able to nick one, they even scored more than Genk this season.
Ah I didn’t see that Mr O, thanks for the info – as you say, I think the value is still there as I can’t see Genk failing to score and Kortrijk have proved they are capable of grabbing one or two against even the top teams in the league.

Just a quick note on the Zulte Waragem game. Maybe steer clear from the over 1.5 TGS. Reasoning is simple. They have only scored 5 goals in their last 5 home games. I know they are playing a team who sit bottom of the table but Waragem played Eupen at home last Friday. They only beat them 1-0. Eupen have the worst defence in the league.
The game i’m going for instead of Genk v Kortrijk. Kortrijk seem to be playing without a keeper at the minute conceding 2 or more goals in six of their last seven games. Four of these games have seen them concede 3 or more.
Combine this with Genk’s home form of scoring 2 or more in 7 of their last 10 home games, I think this is more likely. Odds are 4/7 at bet365.
They put 3 past Kortrijk (a much better side the Mouscron) away from home on the weekend and are relatively healthy, with only Davy De Fauw missing through suspension. Decent record scoring against them too. More likely than Genk scoring twice who are missing key players, but what do I know?

It looks like I’ve been a bit slow to notice the English Oss are in action tonight. Much of the value from Fylde’s midweek fixture has gone, but there are two selections I’m going to chance at slightly shorter odds than I’d like. Though the value on Fylde has dropped, Brackley’s team goals price has actually raised a little. Brackley are a decent outfit, especially at home, and are poised to nestle amongst the playoff places should they pick up points from their games in hand. Reading put 2 past Derby but wasn’t enough to secure a victory at Pride Park, having gone ahead against us early. the rams revival started with a goal courtesy of Darren Bents wedding tackle, then Ince and Hughes make it 3-1. Reading get a man sent off and somehow grab a goal shortly after leaving the rams to sweat out a nervy last 15 mins. Fairly straight forward one on Wednesday. In the first leg I thought Celta were good for their goal time, as was Aspas to score, and both bets would have landed from one strike. The reverse leg should be a cracker, with Celta resting some of their big guns in their 1-0 loss at Sociedad on Sunday. Celta lead 2-1, so Madrid are obviously going to go all out. Sitting back trying to hold a 2-1 lead against Madrid is a recipe for disaster though, and I think the home side will be right up for this one. I’m not sure on the away goal rule, but if Vigo can grab another goal then the pressure will be on for Ronaldo and co, and I think they will.
