Huggy , good tipping last night, I got on Spurs on the over as a single, not big stakes but a wins a win and gives me more money to play with tonight, would rather play with bookies money than my own.
Well I called Karlovic v Kyrgios wrong, no getting away from that. I didn’t see the match but maybe I wasn’t giving the youngster enough credit and thinking his back issues would hold him back a bit. Or maybe I was over-influenced by Karlovic’s excellent performances against Djokovic and Ferrer last week. Whatever it was, my bad, and I apologise for a bad pick there.
My NAP Sam Groth is 2-1 up at the moment and Kokkinakis is available @ 7/2 if anyone is on Groth and wants to cover. I haven’t sueveryed the other results properly yet but at a glance Dodin came very close to making that 8/1 to beat Pliskova a great bet. Tomic is playing well and playing well behind his serve. Groth is pretty much just a serve! Though credit to him he has been excellent at the net so far this week. Tomic should win this but I think it could be close. I expect a couple of tiebreaks and 4 sets minimum.

Thanks for that Okan. That is potentially an excellent bet. I am pretty sure Venus will win 2-0. She absolutely smashed Davis the other day and I see nothing to suggest she won’t get it done in straight sets again, even if it is a little closer.
I don’t yet have full confidence in Serena here, but she really should beat Zvonareva fairly comfortably if she plays a decent match. Well worth a bet at evens. Not going to pile on as I have lingering doubts about Serena, but it’s too good a price to turn down.
Been a good first few days betting wise at the Australian Open, plenty of profit. Just one treble for me tonight that I fancy pre match, then will get on some in plays. Although I expect all three to be very close matches, all three selections are capable of winning and I have already seen others on this thread give reasons as to why so I won’t bother repeating them. Nice wee 6 timer up last night thanks to Tomic. 7/10 on the first night. I was lucky with the bet on stage 2. When I got up this morning and saw the results I saw my bet lost, but after logging in to WH…surprise. The bet won and said I picked Impey to finish in front of Meersman, which I didn’t. Stage 3 sees another uphill finish but on a much steeper climb, the last 400 meters to the finish are flat. The bookies see Porte and Evans as the favourites for tomorrow and I think Evans is the better finisher and only has to follow Porte to the flat final meters to beat him. But it’s too tricky so I went for a match-up double.

Izaquirre already showed his form with the lead out for today’s winner Lobato and finishing 3rd himself, which should keep him going for the GC. There are reports that Pozzovivo has a small wrist fracture and in today’s final he couldn’t keep up with the fast guys.
Tom Dumoulin has come to Australia to win this race, that means he will race for every second. He had some good results on finishes like this last season. Haas tried to win today’s stage, but wasn’t powerful enough. Dumoulin looked strong and sprinted to a 4th place today.
