Denver Nuggets @ San Antonio Spurs.
Denver have been playing some good ball lately, putting up some impressive numbers – averaging 130.67 points, last 3 games. That is probably the highest average in the NBA over the last 3.
But putting up these sort of numbers just isn’t sustainable, and Denver will come crashing back down to earth in San Antonio tonight.
The Nuggets were routed by Spurs by 28 points at home, just 2 weeks ago.
Now they go to San Antonio playing a 3rd game in 4 nights, it’s a tough schedule.
I’ve spoken about the revenge angle many times, and this is the sort of game that you just do not play that card. During the regular season there will be a number of games where teams like Denver will concede a big loss, and looking ahead at their schedule with winnable games up next – Clips (with no Paul or Griffin) and Minnesota, I would not be surprised if they just take the big loss tonight.
After this Spurs go into a 4 game road trip, with the Cav’s up next – they will want a big win tonight.
I can see this line drifting a bit throughout the day, so got it early at -12.5.

Fu delivers the goods again and I expect him to be beat Ronnie in the semis so get on anything at 2/1+ before it disappears. Robertson/O’Sullivan was easily the worst game of the tournament scoring wise so far with neither managing a century. Also downs the outright punt as Robertson returned to his mid season form, which was awful.
