On Frosinone corners because they likely go behind at Torino, who also like their corners, and when they’ve been behind in 2/3 away games got 4 at Palermo and 7 at Inter. Last game at Sassulo it finished 2-2 but Frosinone were leading twice after 16 mins and on the stroke of HT. Torino, apart from their last game where they got beat 1-0 at home from Empoli and conceded 1 corner, have given 5 to Roma and 7 to Udinese in last 3 homes. I like the look of Wolves to beat Cardiff tomorrow at 5/4.
I thought Wolves would struggle for goals loosing Afobe but by netting 3 last time out they proved that’s not the case! They have been showing signs that they can play well and it seems everything has finally come together for them with 4 wins in their last 5. Cardiff are struggling and even more so away where they have picked up just 1 win from their last 10! Also sounds as though the club is in a mess off the pitch getting handed a transfer embargo yesterday.

Atalanta aren’t in best shape and on top of that the club is troubled internally. Stendardo refused to join the team this week as he disagree with some managerial decisions, the team seems split and this is never good. Diamanti joined the team on loan from Watford, he should play today but I can’t tell how he will do. Maybe worth put a couple of ££ on him to score anytime just for the fun :)
Inter lost last game losing the chance to close on top the first half of the season. There have been many chances in that game and not enough luck. The team is fairly competitive this season, I know they are hard to trust when it comes to consistency but they proved to be solid so far and they should come back with a victory. There are no missing players and Mancini can come out with a strong team.
Price imo is good value, it’s above evens and dropping.

I know I said I’d not be available because of hospital but I was in and out and back home by half past one.
So the boss is either reading my posts in here and tweaking his setup or I’m psychic !!
He was quick to come out straight after the Reading game saying it was the worst performance of the season and the point we held out for was effectively a bonus because Reading took the game to us rather than the other way around.
The gaffer has made 3 changes, no surprises in the first – Hendrick back in. I did say he needs to be slap bang in the middle of the park, so Butterfield loses his starting 11. Thorne is back in the side – so he can stay back and wet-nurse the back 4 properly ( I’d like to see him spend the whole 90 mins not straying past the halfway line ).
The big news though is Chris Martin dropped to the bench. For the best part of the last 3 season’s, Martin has been the most fouled player in the championship, I don’t know how/why he plays like this BUT he is ALWAYS having tussles with anyone who comes within kicking distance of him and the ref’s have wised up to his shinnanigans. ( I’m an ex-ref and ref’s are supposed to be completely impartial before a ball is kicked BUT its hard to not to have that pre-opinion for a player like Martin ). The subject of goals is not good with Martin, he’s been scoreless in 13 league games I believe…. Not good. However, he has provided assists for 5 or 6 goals so he is putting in a shift.
So Derby’s new signing Blackman gets his start ahead of Martin who is on the bench. Darren Bent isn’t even on the bench !!.
The gaffer has gone back to a rigid 4-3-3 which I stated last night needs to be the case.

Derbys worst defeat since the last game of last season. If the gaffer thought Tuesdays match was the worst he’d seen all season, he should save himself the phrase until the next game is played.
Derby were average for about 50 mins, but was still confident we’d sneak a narrow win, then Birmingham got the opener which to be fair was a surprise, then Derby pressed the self destruct button. He took off Thorne, put Hendrick in front of the back 4, and ramped up the attacking threat. Birmingham had their tails up, countered us and humiliated. On Tuesday, the owner cancelled the warm weather training next week in Dubai. On the strength of this afternoons performance, I’d pack them off to the South pole – cargo class – with Ryanair, short sleeve shirts.
I fear for Derby’s immediate future, its happened 12 months ago, 1 win in the last 19 games last season, we have 21/22 games left and having Burnley away next , the Man Utd in the cup, I now see the FA cup as a big big thorn in the side. Perhaps he’s been spoiled for choice with a seemingly endless supply of money from the boss but one thing is for certain, we are in freefall and he needs to come back with a new plan b’. How we miss Bryson and Hughes, there is no creative spark for our attack.
One thing I have picked up on, Derby’s captain is Chris Baird – who’s been used as a sub 2 or 3 times this season only, when he doesn’t have the armband, it falls to Martin – who has had the supply to him cut off for 3 months. Why isn’t Thorne captain – he’s in the ideal place to dictate play..
For the next 3-4 weeks, I absolutely have to now advise anyone else to no longer put money down on Derby until we see a massive change in our results.

Just a small interest tonight in Mexico and I’m taking this without team news. Last summer one of the strangest transfers for me was French international Andre-Pierre Gignac singing the Mexican side Tigres. It probably wasn’t an easy move but he settled in well and ended up being their top scorer with 11 goals in the Apertura. Apparently this game was postponed because away team didn,t turn up, game awarded to Zeledon 3 – 0, I had 0ver 2.5mgls but bet365 have voided match, as they say it wasn’t actually played, is this normal.
I understand they didn’t really score 3 goals, but mean’t i only got a treble instead of a 4 fold. anyhow a win is a win. Just thought i would share incase anyone else was wondering what happened to the match
