Seattle blew multiple chances to keep this one close with penalties and turnovers, but that’s football. As a Packer fan I would much rather play Atlanta in the dome than in the elements of Seattle, but even that’s not a given, yet. Should be a very VERY good game in Frisco tonight. Perhaps the best all season. Still adamant Cobb could get triple figures in receiving yards but I won’t pile into it anymore.

Thankfully Noppert lost so the loss isn’t that hard to take. Rory losing in a playoff against a guy who hasn’t won in 10 years and 239 places lower than him in world rankings was hard to take.

Seattle made mistakes before having to play catch up if you ask me. That penalty on Hester’s first big return cost them big time. Could have gone up by two possessions without that hold.
I don’t think Houston will go anywhere with Brock as their QB. Will never be an ‘elite’ QB. Probably the worst QB in his division too. Between him and Bortles.

Just a quick Masters snooker preview.
I’ve taken a chance on Neil Robertson. In recent tournaments, I’ve tried to take him on at any chance possible but I think he’s starting to turn his form around. He won both of his German Masters qualifiers, granted against lower standard opponents than this week, then went out in the L16 of the Scottish Open in a decider to the eventual winner, Marco Fu. Since Christmas, he has played more than most competing this week by playing in 3 rounds of the Champions League, reaching a semi final and a final. You could say he has a tough route to victory potentially having to play Carter, O’Sullivan, Higgins and Selby but its the Masters and its the top 16 in the world who have all previously won a ranking a title so its tough for everyone.
I expect Selby to make the final from the bottom half. He could nearly take a year off and still be #1 in the world he is that far ahead. He won the UK Championship before Christmas and then qualified for the German Masters winning his 2 qualifiers an aggregate 10-0. If he continues in similar form, he will be the man to stop once again and could possibly add his 4th Masters title. For longer odds shot at glory, a Robertson/Selby final can be backed at 20/1.

O’Sullivan *should* beat Liang comfortably in the first game of the day but I have trust issues with Mr O’Sullivan so I’m happy enough to let this game pass. In the evening game, Ding takes on debutant Karen Wilson. The break probably came at a good time for Ding as his form had dipped a little from his sparkling start to the season. He had a couple of surprise defeats in the 3rd round of the UK and the 1st round of NI Open after losing a decider to John Higgins in the semis of the Champions of Champions. Wilson has had a poor season so far only progressing has the L16 of a tournament once, reaching the SF at the NI Open. Ding has a Masters title to his name and also another final appearance. Despite his poor recent form here, I expect to have too much for Wilson. I’m not overly confident on taking him on the handicap but he is definitely worth adding to a multiple bet at 4/9.

All right guys, its your main man Max here. Two cracking games tonight and I have already tipped Pittsburgh as my “unloved dog”. The only other tip on that game I am taking his Bell to Score at 8/11. He was my NAP last week and he duly delivered. I am also my main man Zeke at 1/2 as a single and doubling them up. The double pays 8/5 and all odds at Skybet.
I cant wait for my Boys to enter the post season tonight in a game against Green Bay. I fancied the big blue babies to do a job last week but the game had more ups and down as a rollercoaster. OBJ and Shepard dropped balls in the endzone and it went downhill ever since. Nelson left the game for Packers but the bigger loss was DRC leaving the game. Defensive players often get over looked by casual observers as they don’t count towards fantasy football points. The turning point was yet again another “Hail Mary” throw or “Hail Aaron” as it is now known.
These plays are exciting for viewers but if your relying on gimmick plays it shows you are struggling. If we are to win we have to contain Rodgers in the pocket, let him boot leg and keep plays alive makes it hard on our secondary to keep containment. I am looking for Sean Lee to if not hurry Rodgers at least create openings for our other outside Linebackers to pressure him. Lee is the league’s top tackler and one of the heart beats of our D. Rodgers is on fire at the moment, he hasn’t had a turnover since week 11, I suspect that run ends tonight.
Zeke ran for 157 against this Packer front seven and although he didn’t score that night I think he will tonight. If he has a big game then Dak will have the chance to go to work on this secondary and see plenty of one on one matchups to exploit. I see people saying how will the two rookies handle the playoffs, nothing I have seen this season tells me they will freeze like we have done in the past. Romo has let us down in the playoffs in previous years and he would be a big help being in the ear this week of Dak.
Their are plenty of big stars on both sides, and Dez will be out for revenge for that “no catch” in the playoffs? If you only been following NFL for the past 2 seasons check it out. However for my prop I am on the little guy to come up big, Cole Beasley O46.5yds 10/11 BV. He as become a big player for Dak will more than likely be up against Micah Hyde. In playoff football you have to stay out of 3rd and long situations, Beasley will pick up 2nd and 3rd and short passes to take the pressure of Zeke. He as covered this line in 12 out of 16 games this season and in 7 out of 8 at home and in the week 6 matchup were he caught 6 passes for 58yds.
Another guy off the radar is our legendary TE Jason Witten. He as tailed off the past few weeks of the season but was Romo go to guy, now in the bright lights of playoff football a rookie QB would be wise to rely on his veteran here. Green Bay cant stack the box to stop Zeke, be worrying about Bryant and looking for Beasley running those slant plays and sleep on Witten. He can bounce back after his recent slump and help the best two rookie offensive players in the league move the chains and keep Rodgers on the sideline. Witten to go O38.5yds at 5/6 PP.

Any tennis bettors/followers around?
I follow the results and watch occasionally when the big guns are in action. Had a go on a Murray/Djokovic final at 2/1 with PP. Murray’s form at the end of last year was obviously incredible and Djokovic seems to be somewhere near his top level with his win against Murray in the final in Doha. On a consistency basis, they seem miles clear of the field. The former top 4 has definitely become the top 2 in recent times.
With Murray’s recent form and Djokovic’s incredible record in Australia, I think they are the most likely finalists and worth a shot at 2/1.

Not worried about Cobb losing yardage now and the points double is in. Long shot looking off. Think the Pittsburgh total is a tad low. Green Bay are showing the bye week isn’t good for everyone, and with a red hot offense you can do some damage. Antonio Brown torched the Chiefs in the regular season, and although he’ll get covered more, Marcus Peters doesn’t cover both sides the field so Brown will do some damage on the right side and will be the end zone target for Big Ben.
