IT'S been an up and down week and here we are again at Saturday. It's a tricky card and I haven't gone for anything too silly.

So let's start with the one that matters most – the Super Single. I was a Hibs goal away from winning on Friday and today I'm putting my faith in Burnley at Yeovil.

Burnley put on a fine show as they lost 4-3 at Southampton last weekend while lowly Yeovil beat a weakened Orient 4-0.

However, in the Championship Yeovil have lost seven times in front of their fans and if Burnley have serious hopes of automatic promotion they must win matches like this. They are a biggest 21-20 at Coral and bet365 1-1 at Ladbrokes.

The Top treble was posted earlier in the week and features Cardiff, Everton and Motherwell – check out the article for reasoning. There is also a separate post on a both teams to score fourfold.

My five homes pays just over 7-1 at Ladbrokes and start with Everton at home Norwich plus Blackburn v Doncaster, Brentford v Port Vale, Orient v Carlisle and Dundee v Livingston. If you don't like fivefolds perm any four and all five.

The three aways return 7-1 and I'm going again with Burnley plus Scunthorpe at Mansfield and Peterhead at East Stirling.

So here are Saturday's top tips including draws with more speculative, low-stakes bets on four draws at Bolton v Nottm Forest, Ipswich v QPR, Partick v Ross County and Morton v Raith and match result and both to score.

PaulG, someone described Cardiff as “super bankers” but they’re not. They are likely winners but that’s all.

      BRENTFORD To Score 2+ Goals @ 9/20
      MOTHERWELL To Score 2+ Goals @ 4/7
      PETERHEAD To Score 2+ Goals @ 13/20

      TREBLE PAYS 3.77 @ Sportingbet

And be foolish not to go on the 3+ treble at this odds!

      BRENTFORD To Score 3+ Goals @ 17/10
      MOTHERWELL To Score 3+ Goals @ 2/1
      PETERHEAD To Score 3+ Goals @ 9/4

      TREBLE PAYS 26.33 @ Sportingbet

BRENTFORD – Have scored 3+ in 6 of the last 8 home games
MOTHERWELL – Scored 2+ in their last in 4 of the last 5 games, scoring a total of 9 in their last 2! Hearts have conceded 2+ in 8 of the last 9 games, and in 7 of the last 8 at Tynecastle.

Posted this up on Thursday, so hope its still useful to others!

I have been looking at the over 2.5 stats for Saturday’s matches and I am posting up the games that I have found to have the best statistics for goals. I have put an explanation of the numbers in the first game to avoid repeating myself:

      Arbroath v Brechin – 9/9; 8/9 – 94.4%

      *9 of Arbroath’s 9 home games have gone over 2.5 goals, whilst 8 out of 9 of Brechin’s away games have gone over 2.5 goals. Combined Percentage i.e. (9/9 + 8/9)/2 = 94.4%*

      Dunfermline v Stranraer – 8/9; 7/10 – 79.4%
      Aldershot v Guiseley (Cup tie) – 10/13; 8/10 – 78.5%
      Havant & Waterlooville v Ebbsfleet (Cup tie) – 8/10; 6/8 – 77.5%
      Colchester v Gillingham – 7/12; 10/11 – 74.6%
      Cowdenbeath v Dumbarton – 5/9; 8/9 – 72.2%
      Swindon v Peterborough – 8/11; 8/12 – 69.7%
      Altrincham v Telford – 8/11; 8/12 – 69.7%

      • Ryzo 10 years ago

        Double – Man United / Motherwell ……1.31/1

E/W FGS Treble – Lukaku (Everton) Soldado (Spurs) Welbeck (Man U) …..129/1

E/W FGS Double – Lukaku (Everton) Sutton (Motherwell) ……23/1

        Single – Motherwell -1 ……11/10

Single – Barcelona ……… 5/4 (Risky, simply can’t resist Barca with Messi at odds against)

        Single – Chelsea over 1.5 goals ……4/5

That’s it for me. Fair amount riding on the above and fairly confident at the same time. One reservation would be Barcelona, Atletico are a quality well drilled outfit who have shown tremendous consistency this year hence the 5/4 available on Barca, but with the greatest player in the world back after a 30 minute 2 goal cameo midweek in copa del ray I’m more than willing to take the risk. Messi really does elevate Barca to a whole new level.

Good luck to everybody and fingers crossed for a profitable Saturday.

I’d be wary of relying too much on certain stats in the arbroath v brechin game. As pointed above, they both are having mostly high scoring games but you would need to take into account the fact that most of these goals are being scored against them, which is why they are both down the bottom of the table.
Arbroath only actually scored 3 in their last 5 home games and brechin have 7 in their last 5 away games, but failing to score at all in 2 of them. Not to say it wont be a high scoring game but just, depending on which stats you decide to examine, 2/5 can look either a complete bargain or not much value at all.

      • Cammy 10 years ago

Definitely a good point Shaky. Certain stats can be skewed one way or another. With both defenses leaking goals something might have to give.

    16. Paddywack 10 years ago

A tricky set of fixtures and although some games may seem like mere formalities, i am pretty certain there will be a few shocks tomorrow. I always look at stats and for those that are interested i have listed a few potential banana skins that may just be better avoided.

Everton v Norwich, last 2 fixtures at Goodison have ended
      1-1.
Blackpool v Middlesboro, The last time Boro turned Pool on their patch was back in season 1947, but they did win that one 5-0.
Cardiff v Westham, The Hammers have won the last 5 meetings against the Bluebirds.

Personally i would have fancied Everton, Boro and Cardiff but when i see info such as this i just tend to leave these games alone.

A few both to score / Over 2.5 games for me this week include

      Bolton v Forest BTS
      Brentford v Portvale (Over)
      Colchester v Gillingham (Over)

      Good Luck all

I just got on today early government finish, read comments, and knew form was good on racing and day before on MrF. Could not gamble mid week so got on today. Lost few pounds, again big deal. Bet low what u can easily afford to lose. Anyway. i put up last week City – Blackburn 1-1 which came in at 14/1 with betvic. My bet this week is Chelsea to win 2-0. It will take them time to break hull but when they do Hull will have to push, which will see the 2nd goal. I’m on it.

    18. Eddie g. 10 years ago

Burley. Cardiff. Everton. Motherwell . Scunthorpe. And depending how the balls get thrown up today gas bottles at 7/4 look good or bill the toe head at 3/1 to have most points in the points

    19. Mike W 10 years ago

Still a little confused on goal markets, if I back a game at over 1, 1.5 and only one goal is scored I’m pretty sure I get half my stake returned. How does that work as part of an accumulator/multi?

    20. Rustychest 10 years ago

Spanish Both teams to score Treble

Atletico Madrid v Barcelona BTTS 8/15 (Since Simeone took over Atletico Madrid, 4 out of 5 of their overall clashes won BTTS. Atleti’s clash against Valencia saw them pushed back more to defense which infuriated coach Simeone. I expect a more attack minded Atletico Madrid against Barcelona)
Elche v Sevilla BTTS 5/6 (2 out of 2 of their last clashes won BTTS)
Athletic Bilbao v Almeria BTTS 10/11 (7 out of 8 of their last clashes won BTTS)

    21. Ricardo Blue 10 years ago

Did a £20 treble yesterday with Alex’s tip “Tours” over 2.5, Leicester win & Chelsea win. So answering your question Henry… I fancy Chelsea Henry! :) Seriously though, @ 8/13 Chelsea’s got to be a great bet. Even Man Utd beat them a few games ago lol

Yeovil have been a little unlucky at home mr F. The games they have lost have only been by the single goal and they haven’t rolled over for anyone since Derby beat them 0-3 back in August. I can see Burnley winning, but it’s gonna be tight! I’ll be backing them though at that price

    22. robert miller 10 years ago

dinnae know what price it is now but You could still get Peterhead at evens away to East Stirling yesterday morning at 11.00 with CORALS… Lads and bet 365 are 8/11….

      First time poster.

A mate recommended Mr Fixit to me as he has won over £200 this season using your tips. I have been impressed so far and am on the super singles.

      Here’s my other bets today.

      Hull/Draw double chance 2.5
      Port Vale/Draw double chance 2.6
      Double pays 6.5

      Wolves 2.15
      Everton 1.6
      Leyton Orient 1.67

      Treble pays 5.03

    25. Ricardo Blue 10 years ago

Birmingham look overpriced for the away win today @ 4/1 especially as their latest away form reads P6 W4 D2 GF12 GA4
Brighton themselves look like a team that’s better on the road, only winning 1 more game than they have lost whilst playing at home.

I wouldn’t go mad and lump on it, but it’s a cracking price based on the facts and maybe worth a second look! Any reason why we shouldn’t consider this mr F?

    26. Ian M 10 years ago

Western Sydney Wanderers – Sydney FC

In the a league tonight, Western Sydney look a bit short – I expect them to win in a tight match. The market I’m looking at which I rarely bet on but I fancy in this game is cards. This match has become a fierce derby although it is relatively new and in the last 2 matches there were 9 yellows in one of the games and 8 yellows, 2 reds in the other. The other 2 games they’ve contested before that had 4 yellows and 5 yellows.

This season both teams are averaging 4.5 cards per game but this is a derby game. The referee for the game gave an average of 5.33 cards per game last season which was one of the highest for the A league refs, only 3 per game this season but that is only from 7 games.

      TIP – OVER 5.5 cards @ 1.83 – Bet 365

I’ve also put smaller bets on over 6.5 and over 8.5 at 2.44 and 5.15 which would have both come up in the last 2 matches between the teams.

    27. Ian M 10 years ago

Mike W and Danny, what you guys think re cards in Sydney derby?

    28. Rogerdodger 10 years ago

Just a thought about approaching the BTTS & result market from a lower risk angle:

How about picking 3 teams and,on a plain slip, writing:

‘Perm any 3 allowing for up to 3 draws
      = 8 bets @ xxp/£’

This would mean that, providing all 3 selections are involved in games where both teams score AND they avoid defeat, then we are a winner. Obviously, our liability rises as a £1 unit stake would mean an £8 total stake. However, at average odds of 64-1 (based on 3-1 per selection)that seems pretty good. Naturally we could cut the stake back if required.

For an even bigger potential payout, we could select 5 teams and write:

‘Perm any 5 allowing for up to 2 draws
      =16 bets @ xxp/£’

Of course both teams have to score in all 5 matches here but it carries a good insurance of 2 draws among any of the picks. It’s obviously riskier than the previous plan but at average odds of £1024-1, surely it’s worth a go even at 10p unit stakes (£1.60 total) as this would give us a dividend of £102.40.

    29. Danny 10 years ago

looking at a few prices Ian and its a toss up between first booking under 25 minutes 5/6 Bet365 also 16-30th minute 8/5 William hill

I’ve done a fair bit of homework on the non-league games this week, but there’s nothing that’s really stood out as a dark horse/hidden gem, and, as it turns out, there’s nothing that I like that needs too much explaining. Also, no team news or snippets of gossip in the Non-League Paper this week, or anything online that sways me either way, for or against, any of the fancied sides below. So, it’s pretty much all there in the stats, and it’s a little punt on an odds-on fourfold today for me.

      Conference North
Colwyn Bay v Oxford City KO 3pm
Colwyn Bay are 8th in league and only 15th best home, but are currently top form side, winning six straight. Have beaten 8th, 14th , 2nd and 21st best home in the run, and 15th and 18th away.
Oxford City are 18th in league and second-worst away. They’ve won one away game all season – against second-worst home side.
For anybody superstitious, great news! Frank Sinclair will be presented with Conference North Manager Of The Month Award ahead of the game.
      Home is 8/13.

      Southern Premier League
Redditch United v Cambridge City KO 3pm
Redditch have lost four of their last six, winning the other two. Both of those at home against so-so opposition. However, Cambridge are this league’s form side. They’ve won six in a row and it’s nine since they lost.
Cambridge did the double last season and beat Redditch 4-1 in the reverse tie four week ago.
      Away is 4/6.

St. Neots Town v Poole Town KO 3pm
St Neots are 19th and Poole are 6th. But Poole are the side every team in the league is running scared of. They’ve only played 18 games in total for the season. All the teams above them have played 23 or 24. Poole have won 8 and drawn 1 of their last 9, whereas, in a fairly mixed run of recent results, St Neots have somehow, for example, managed to draw at home with Bedford, who are absolutely abysmal.
Poole won 2-0 at home three weeks ago.
      Away is 4/5.

      Isthmian Premier League
      Canvey v Wealdstone KO 3pm
Wealdstone haven’t lost any away game all season, winning 8 and drawing 2. F23 A6. They’re top of the league overall.
Canvey are 15th in the league and 10th at home. They’ve lost 5 of their 13 homes – F17 A14 – not terrible, but Wealdstone’s away record suggests they should win.
      Wealdstone away is 4/7.

That fourfold pays at around 7.6

      . . .

Good luck today whatever you’re on, everybody!

      This was posted yesterday.
Umm Salal are now odds on @ 10/11
      Fethiyespor are now 13/8

Some of you must have followed. Good luck.

There is a game in the Qatar Stars League tomorrow. Al Muaidar V Umm Salal.
Umm Salal sit bottom of the league. They have recently appointed Turkish Bulent Uygun as their manager and in his first game in charge they managed beat Al Arabi 0-1 away. They are playing away to the team sitting just above them, I also fancy them to beat them as the leauge table shows Al Muaidar are not as strong as Al Arabi.
Umm Sala was 6/4 yesterday I have them in a few of my doubles and trebles also backed them single. They are now 5/4 with Bet365. I don’t think my single bet caused the price coming down but it is a good indication to their chances.

The other bet I have had is Fethiyespor to beat 1461 Trabzon @ 2/1 on sunday Turkey League 1.
1461 Trabzon is like Trabzonspor B team. They have had a very good season last year as a result lost a few good players to Trabzonspor. They are not the same force this year. Before their 0-3 win away to lowly Tavsanli Linyitspor they have lost 4 in a row.
Fethiyespor has shown great improvement recently. Their last defeat was 1-0 against the league leaders Istanbulspor. Since then the form reads P5 W2 D3 L0. They play nice attacking and passing football, and had a very good friendly games recently which was praised in the Turkish press.
@ 2/1 I think they are worth a punt. Double chance is 3/5 with Bet365.

I have also Included Millwall @ 7/2 to beat Huddersfield away. Since they have shortened to 100/30 . The reason behind this is the obvious new manager in Ian Holloway whom has proved himself at this level.

Hull City are a competitive outfit when playing at home and expect them to at least score one. Chelsea need to maintain their title chances so BTS for me.

    45. Rogerdodger 10 years ago

Am I missing something Mr F?
You have tipped up the Peterhead match as BTTS and also picked them as one of your aways.
Surely that would gain them automatic selection in your BTTS and Result picks?

      • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Rogerdodger, true but I left it out as not too many bookies have priced that one up. Anyway as I’ve said countless times this is not a serious bet for me so I don’t spend hours picking them. In fact I only put it up because of requests although I’ve landed a couple of 50-1 winners.

    46. Sean 10 years ago

Not much point in me posting the stats on the teams i fancy today as they have been covered many times on the site and Mr F has them in his Homes and Aways so that boosts my confidence, anyway ill be on Blackburn,Brentford and Everton treble so no surprises there.
Also fancy there to be over 2.5 goals in the Fulham v Sunderland game available @ 5/6,There have been over 2.5 goals scored in 10 of Fulham’s last 11 games and they have the leagues worst home defensive record conceding 18 at home this season. Both teams need to go for a win today as sunderland sit bottom whilst fulham sit just 2 points from the relegation zone so both teams will be going for goals from the off, although sunderland are the leagues only team yet to find a victory this season against any in the leagues bottom 8 possitions but will be buoyed by there recent 2-1 victory over Man utd in the capital one cup so i expect them to find the net.Take the 5/6 on the over 2.5 goals in this game.

On to the big game in spain this evening and ill be taking the great value 7/2 on Diego costa and Lionel Messi both to score based on the following reasons,Atletico have won all thier 9 home lg games this season and scored at least 2 in each of these games and you have to fancy COSTA to score anytime considering he has scored in all 9 homes this season.Messi has a remarkable record against Atletico he has scored more goals against them than any other team in spain finding the net an incredible 17 times. Both teams have scored in the last 4 games played between the 2 at the Estadio Vicente Calderon,Barce although having lost only once away from home this season have conceded on thier last 4 games away { all comps } and conceded twice thier last away La Liga game a 5-2 victory over Getafe.Expect both teams to score odds only 1/2 for this but also worth backing COSTA and Messi both to score @ 7/2.
Good Luck with your bets today :)

cammy I aways appreciate someone who puts the time in to do the research and then shares it. I cross referenced your info with the odds on bet365 and came up with the following for today
Colchester, Havant, Swindon and Cowdenbeath all O2.5 pays just over 7/1. Will give that a shot. Tks.

Sean – great form what’s your pick for today?

Nice one Pin High, good luck! I’m on all of those games in some shape or form.

      Morning Gents

      Yeovil Town v Burnley

      Burnley Win 21/20 Bet365

The Clarets head south for today’s Sky Bet Championship sitting second to Leicester who produced a good display last night to defeat Derby. Burnely boast two of the hottest attacking properties outside the Premier League.

Former AFC Bournemouth youngster Danny Ings and Wales international Sam Vokes have struck the net 25 times between them, accounting for more than two-thirds of their side’s 36 goals so far this campaign.

Sean Dyche’s men possess the best goal difference in the division of +18 and visit a Glovers’ side joint bottom and five points from safety.

      Have a good day people.

Morning all. A mixed Friday generally but I managed to turn another healthy profit. That’s the second time this week. If you were working to a level points staking system it would have been 3 points staked and 4.9 points returned. Today it’s a typical Saturday minefield and I would advise keeping any accumulators short as we all love a Hollywood winner, but the profit is made in the same way it is any other day. SINGLES.

      AJACCIO V PSG 4:00pm

It’s bottom v top in Ligue 1 in the afternoon kick off. PSG will be far too strong for their opponents. They’ve scored 3 at Reims and Rennes as well as 2 at Marseille and St Etienne. Ajaccio are the weakest team in the league and have conceded 3 against Valenciennes and Marseille at home recently. Neither of those teams have the firepower that PSG possess. I’m going for PSG to score over 2.5 team goals which pays only EVENS but I’m confident it’ll come in.

      ELCHE V SEVILLA 9:00pm

Elche have conceded goals in all but one of their 8 home matches since returning to the top flight. Sevilla are in flying form away from home and have scored at least twice in each of their last 5 away matches. Whilst Elche have only conceded more than twice at home on 2 occasions this season, Sevilla have the firepower and the form to score at least twice here. They’ve also won their last four away matches which shows they have plenty of confidence, despite the short winter break. I’m going to be backing Sevilla to score at least twice in this one which pays 6/5.

      BRENTFORD V PORT VALE 3:00pm

I’m expecting this game to feature heavily on coupons tomorrow and finding a market which pays well enough is the key here. I’ve actually selected two market to bet on here. Firstly I’m going for Brentford to score 3 or more goals. They have done in 5 of their last 7 home matches. Port Vale have conceded 12 in their previous 5 away matches and have conceded at least 3 on 3 occasions. Brentford to score over 2.5 team goals pays 11/8. I’m also going to go for Brentford to win the match and there to be over 2.5 match goals. That would have paid out 4 of the last 5 Brentford home matches and 3 of the last 5 Port Vale away matches. Today that’ll pay 11/10.

      SOUTHAMPTON V WEST BROM 3:00pm

Now, this one is a bit of a gamble, but I have reasoning for it. West Brom have just appointed a new manager in the form of Pepe Mel. Mel is particularly known for his like of attacking teams. West Brom players will be keen to impress their new manager and this could be a good time to play against the Saints. The Saints have conceded 3 or more in 3 of their last 4 Premier League matches and also against Burnley last weekend in the FA Cup. They’ve conceded in each of their last 5 home matches as well. West Brom hit three past West Ham last away match, managed 2 at Chelsea and scored at White Hart Lane and St James Park. There is enough in the pre-match analysis to say that West Brom have a decent chance of scoring a couple here. The fact that West Brom over 1.5 team goals pays 12/5 tempts me very much. They’ve also scored 2 or more on each of their last 3 visits to St Mary’s for those looking for a little extra!

      TIPS:
PSG over 2.5 team goals – EVENS
      Sevilla over 1.5 team goals – 6/5
      Brentford over 2.5 team goals – 11/8
Brentford to win and over 2.5 match goals – 11/10
West Brom over 1.5 team goals – 12/5

Five selections and hopefully at least three winners to end the day in a decent profit. The very best of luck as ever to everyone and let’s hope it’s a big Saturday. Remember to keep those accas to a minimum though!

      • Steve the Pirate 10 years ago

Ahoy there mateys! For those of you jumping aboard Alex’s bet’s you’ll get 17/10 @888 for Brentford scoring 3+ and on the starboard side Stan James will give you 6/5 on the PSG tip and a hefty 3/1 on West Brom scoring at least two.

At that price I can definitely see the merit in the gamble with some serious booty to be won there, however for me I don’t see West Brom being a vessel that can take us there.

Also looking at goalscorers for today, I be thinking Sutton and Ings and I’m looking for a couple more, tempted to side with Hazard- any other thoughts? Would I be rewarded with much if Mutch scored? Hah harrr Steve cracked a funny!

Morning gentlemen. Just a heads up from me Wilson still injured and Clarke is a doubt so no strikers currently. Going to push either Moussa or Daniels up front probably.
Will remind everyone tomorrow and if Mr F doesn’t see this. Hopefully Clarke recovers after today

      • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Stormin, cheers for the heads up re Coventry. Match result and btts is speculative at best anyway.

Well I’m the only one who seems to have taken a hammering on the horses this week. So licking my wounds today and starting with a £5 straight bet on Leeds. 2/1 with betbright. Hopefully to build a pot for the 3pm games. Neither Are in form but Leeds have Cameron Stewart possibly who should be good enough at this level to be a match winner kebe too maybe and a few players could be back from injury. Good luck and hopefully I will be on for a treble later so will look out for tips

    54. Sparky 10 years ago

Can’t argue with those picks Paul but having watched dundee last time out at raith I couldn’t touch them. I was far more impressed with hamilton last week vs queens. I can see why dundee faithful still ain’t in love with bomber at dens!

    55. Malkster 10 years ago

My teams today mr F are…Southampton Brentford Newport and Rochdale. .pays 19-1 with bet 365..anytime scorer, how about seamus coleman for everton..scoring regularly. ..

    56. el tel 10 years ago

My 4 draws for day are
      Ipswich
      Brighton
Cardiff ( so much at stake , neither team will won’t to lose. West ham can’t be as bad)
Fulham ( Sunderland with a bit more confidence really cant afford to lose this one or the gap just getting to big )
Ipswich Town take on QPR at Portman Road Stadium. The 6th placed Ipswich Town will be desperate to retain their play-off place over the weekend when they host 3rd placed QPR at Portman Road as they look to extend their eight match unbeaten run in the Championship. Mick McCarthy’s men have produced some solid results over the last month or so with wins at Charlton Athletic 1:0 and 3:1 and 2:1 home wins over Blackburn Rovers and Huddersfield Town respectively along with a 3:0 win away at Doncaster Rovers on Boxing Day. They’ve become somewhat of the draw specialists lately though having drawn four of their last five overall which included a point away at the City Ground in a 0:0 stalemate with Nottingham Forest. At Portman Road Ipswich Town have lost just once in their last six matches which was a 2:1 loss to Championship leaders Leicester City but since then have been unbeaten in their last four with an overall home record of 6 wins, 3 draws, 3 losses with the score 20:12 going into this match.
Next game is Brighton v Birmingham , Brighton obviously strong at home and doing well .
But Birmingham have 7 wins, 8 draws and 9 defeats with a total score: 30:29 and 29 points. They have two wins and three draws in their last five games. However, this season they have the main goal to stay in the league. But in this game, they’ve got a big task. However, they are able to make a score. Birmingham City have produced an excellent run of ten matches undefeated, but somehow still find themselves on a disappointing 17th position in the Championship. This may of course have something to do with the fact that six of these matches ended in a draw (four of those six being score-draws). Away wins 3:1 at Huddersfield Town, Barnsley 3:0, 2:0 Bournemouth and Blackburn Rovers 3:2 during this period has resulted in Birmingham City being the in-form team right now (last 6 matches away form) away from home in the Championship with an overall away record of 5 wins, 2 draws, 5 defeats with a score 15:17 having won four of their last five on their travels.

    57. Hsta 10 years ago

Mr F, just curious.. What’s the thinking behind wolves scoring against Chelsea?

Terry was rested midweek so it’s likely to be him and a very in form Cahill at the back.

Ivanovic and lampard are out so it’s likely to be:

      Cech
      Azpilicueta, Cahill, terry, cole,

      Mikel, Ramires,
      Willian/schurrle/mata, Oscar, hazard
      Torres/eto

Hsta, you mean Hull of course. Reasoning is on the goals galore post.

Cheers Mr F I was thrilled last night when I made an error when I done the Btts double.

I clicked on no instead of yes in the Aberdeen Hibs match!!!!

Decent start to my weekend and this morning my titian bet free £10 bet arrived and I have put that on Cardiff City at evens and looking at picks for today I fancy
      Everton
      Motherwell
      Brentford
      Blackburn

      • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Mr C, wish I’d done the same – no Hibs goals cost me £441.

    59. raaljaca 10 years ago

      HEARTS v MOTHERWELL

With the Hearts squad absolutely depleted Motherwell have been backed all week into a best price 1/2. Not a price to hammer into unless you include it in multiples or for one off big hitters. The one piece of value I can see is for John Sutton to come back and haunt us and at 6/5 with bet365 to score at anytime he is a stand out bet. Motherwell have the pace to really hurt Hearts and in Sutton they have a guy who will score in the air and mop up anything that is put within 8-10 yards of the goal ‘Gerd Muller’ style!! The Hearts defence will no doubt be breached several times this afternoon and the chances of Sutton popping one in the net would be closer to 4/6 in my book so at 6/5 you will quite possibly be collecting before half time.

John Sutton (6/5) bet365 (Anytime scorer)

      • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

raaljaca, I tipped Sutton today’s Record and also thinking about Motherwell -2 and -3 for small stakes at decent prices. However, a 1-0 Motherwell win as predicted by Tam Cowan will be fine for the treble. My anytime scorer double in the paper is Sutton and Ings and Bonkers Bet is Hearts 0, Motherwell 3.

Small stakes goalscorer trixies for a bit of fun. These 3 look overpriced to me

      First Goalscorer

      JAMIE MURPHY @ 19/2
      GARY MACKAY STEVEN @ 11/1
      ADAM CAMPBELL @ 21/2

£1 Singles & £0.50p trixie (£5 stake) Returns £950 if all score 1st. Just 1 scoring first will return a tiny profit on the total outlay for both bets

      Anytime Scorers

      JAMIE MURPHY @ 31/10
      GARY MACKAY STEVEN @ 7/2
      ADAM CAMPBELL @ 15/4

      A £1.25 Trixie returns £183.67 (£5 stake) with a minimum of £23 if 2/3 score

What happened to Sly? Does he not post on here anymore? Not been on here as much as usual this last couple of months as I’ve been away on a dump of a rig that had no wifi & could only access gambling sites on 1 computer, which there was always a queue for!

You heading down to the Dons v Saints semi final next month Greg? Looking forward to it, it’s great being an Aberdeen fan at the moment, been a long time since we’ve been going as well as we are right now.

Noticed Saint’s released Rory Fallon this week, no surprise there as other than a couple of screamers, against Motherwell & Hibs, he was rubbish! Did I see that Gary McDonald had signed an extended deal? How’s he been for you’s? He was one of the worst midfielders I’ve ever seen in a red shirt, as I told you when he signed for you!

    71. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Posted my thoughts at the beginning of this thread on 8 games I’ll Be concentrating on on! Stats for some have ready been posted by others!

      —————————————————————-
      Bolton v Forest

This should be a cracking game with Forest absolutely flying at the moment! Billy Davis has a real knack of turning average players into great players and that’s what he’s done again! They travel to face a Bolton side I was on last week and who are stedily improving! Forest don’t really win too many away from home and with Bolton out if their rot, both teams should score here!

      Back BTTS 8/11

      ————————————————————–

      Rangers v East Fife

The rangers faithful will be delighted to be back at Ibrox after three consecutive away games! They host an east fife side they have beate 4-0 5-0 4-0 5-0 in their recent matches! Rangers aren’t the profitable team they were a few months ago but they still have a good team in comparison to their opponents and will give our 4 of 5 goals to someone a good few times before the season finishes! They won their three away games all to nill but they tend to play a lot better at home and I think we’ll see some goals here! The majority of Rangers home games have seen over 3.5 goals scores! This should be another! East fife don’t travel well and it’ll be damage limitation!

      Back Rangers -2 8/13
      Over 3.5 match goals 8/11

      —————————————————————–

      Lyon v Sochaux

Lyon despite having a poor start to the season have been good to me this season and they certainly picked up in the last month or so before the break! They won 6-1 last weekend in the cup and face a side who are in real trouble at the bottom end of the table! Sochaux have seen over 2.5 goals in 9 of their last 11 away matches and given that Lyon are strong at home, Lyon should score a few here!

Back over 1.5 Lyon team goals 1/2
Back over 2.5 match goals 4/5

All to be used as singles or doubles/ trebles etc!

      • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Greg, good luck with those. Off to walk the dug and head up to Petershill for the Clydebank game – first one for a month so looking forward to it even though it looks freezing outside. Will be back for scores dropping and hopefully in our favour.

    72. Hsta 10 years ago

Single today will be a 2 pointer:

Chelsea to win both halves at 3/1

I was at the opening game of the season , the stadium was buzzing with Jose’s return and Chelsea tore hull to shreds in a brutal fashion.

I can’t see how that won’t create fear and doubts in the hull players minds and I think their generally solid home form will go out the window.

There’s also the title race of course and Chelsea are starting to click into gear. I don’t think they’ll lose until arsenal or city slip up.

      Recommended other bet would be:
      Hazard anytime: 7/4 with skybet.
I really like this bet, hazards on great form and with lampard out, he’ll take the penalties if any are given.

      Good luck guys

      • Hsta 10 years ago

Hazard anytime is much better with be t 365… 12/5

      • Hsta 10 years ago

Get in! Congrats if anyone got on the hazard tip

    73. phil72 10 years ago

Whats your thinking on the west ham game ALEX ?

      • Alex 10 years ago

phil72 – As always hoping for the best but I really fear for us today. It’s an enormous game and if we play even remotely as poorly as in the last two, it could be another embarrassing defeat. The players cannot afford to not turn up today and my honest prediction is Redbirds 2-1 Hammers.

    74. paul s 10 years ago

game tommorrow guys in the cypriot womens league. apollon limassol women are 1/200 to win there game. no goals betting up yet but they are 2/5 to be winning half time full time. theyre top of there league played 5 won 5 scoring 27 and conceded one. surely this is a massive price

      • Dani Alves 10 years ago

        That’s a great spot Paul.

Don’t really understand the price being so short. Apollon have won every single league game for the past 2+ years and beat Afroditi (who they play tomorrow at home) 8-1 the last time they met.

Unless they are known for scoring all their goals in the 2nd halves of games – and I can’t see any info anywhere on this – it’s free money surely?

      • paul s 10 years ago

dani alves, never knew the 2 year stat thats a cracker. think im going to have a lumper on half time full time….great price

Been trying to do some further digging into it.

        Found some strange statistics here
        http://www.betstudy.com/soccer-stats/c/cyprus/womens-first-division/d/halftime-fulltime/

This seems to be saying that so far in this season’s league nobody has been leading a game at HT. Got me very suspicious – maybe they only play a shortened 1st half? Can’t find anything on this anywhere

Al, how doing mate? First thing for you to do is get in touch with the Rig owners and demand wi-fi be installed, haha!

Sly has been MIA for a good while now, hopefully he’ll return when our obscure leagues return! I certainly am, looking forward to it, although our record against Aberdeen in the cup reads played 25, won 0, haha! We’ve now sold out our allocation in the Roseburn so will be getting additional tickets for the main stand ! Should be a cracking atmosphere!

You dons are in great form at the moment and I must thank you, they’ve won me a flat bit of money, haha! They are winning matches without ever really playing that well ( kille and Hibs a good example ), which is always good!

Rory is away, no surprise there, McDonald a new contract, hmm still not sure about him and I can understand why Aberdeen fans Didn’t take to him, he’s slow and can only pass sideways!

      • AL 10 years ago

I’m doing good thanks. I know, it’s not much to ask really. Stuck on a tin island, away from friends & family for 2-3 weeks at a time, would cost pennies in comparison to the profits they are making!

Yeah hopefully sly makes a comeback, had a good knack of finding overs winners & gave a good insight into Portuguese football.

Looking forward to the semi final aswell. Never knew our cup record was as good as that against the Saints, but records are there to be broken as they say! Good to hear you’ve sold out the initial allocation. Ours is also sold out & hoping for some more tickets if you fail to sell the remainder of your allocation.

Agree with you there, there’s much more to come from this Aberdeen team, if we could just get a proper striker in this month I think we’d be a cert for 2nd place. We are controlling games but a bit slow in getting into the final third. Been great at the back all season considering we’ve never had a settled back 4.

Good luck for the rest of the season, apart from the semi final of course!

      Livorno v Parma
Livorno’s last decent and only result in 6 was a draw at home to AC Milan. It is fair to say AC were missing a few key players and found their sub goalkeeper to take the responsibility of keeping goals out. Parma had a good win at Torino last week, but they were lucky that the Toro’s lost Cerci and Immobile at half time. Parma did scalp Napoli at home 6 games ago. The first scalp anyone has had in the San Paolo for 20odd games.
Livorno will surely play a 5 midfield to stop Parma controlling the game so much. (they either do this or play a 5 man defence as Fiorentina found). Livorno will try to catch Parma on their left as it has a weakness as Cassani will be missing.
Donadoni will play his usual 4-3-3. The strength in Parma is from the centre -left and that is where the goals will likely come from for Parma. Livorno will try to score in that centre zone but it wont be easy for them. Paulinho hasnt been playing so well and Parma central defender Lucarelli – who always gives strong performance- will be waiting for him. Livorno usually leak all their goals from the oppositions central players so watch out for Cassano and Amauri being fed balls from Parolo and Marchionni.
History is on the home six being unbeaten in 6. That reflects the odds IMO. The last home game for Livorno with Parma exactly four years ago ended in 2-1. The last game, later on in that year saw Livorno crushed 4-1 in Parma.
Livorno have not won in the last 7 attempts in Serie A.
Parma have won 2 and drawn 4 and remain unbeaten in 7 games
Livorno have scored 3 goals and conceded 12 in 6 games
Parma have scored 9 and conceded 6 in 6 games
SSchiattarella is missing from Livorno and that reduces their options for crossing balls.
Cassani is out for Parma and that will give a little hope for Livorno on their left.

Parma want a win to keep AC and Lazio(who should get points this weekend) away from them. Livorno would love something as Nicola, the Livorno manager is surely not far from being sacked.

2pt on Parma win at 7/5
or Parma draw no bet 4/6
Parma to score first after 30 min 13/5
Cassano 6/4 and Amauri (was superb last week and he is at 7/4)
Cassano to score in 90 minutes and Parma to win 10/3

      Afternoon Gents

      One for this evening

      Elche v Sevilla

      Sevilla Win 11/10

Elche have lost their last 4 matches in the La Liga while Sevilla have won 5 and drawn 1 of their last 6 matches in La Liga. Elche have failed to score in 4 of their last 5 home matches in La Liga. On the other side Sevilla have scored at least 2 goals in their last 5 away matches in La Liga.

Sevilla have scored Over 1.5 Team Goals in 5/5 of their last League Games.

      Enjoy

pays 25/1 on BetFred‘s fixed odds coupon which is actually a better price than the same bet on Bet 365

Haha you too mate, our battle will be to make the top 6 again, really need a win! A stiker is exactly what you need! Vernon is a link up man and Zola is yet to settle ( I’m sure he said he’d score 20 this season, 17 to go, haha)

      Bologna(17th) v Lazio(10th)

I backed Catania to beat Bologna last week, even with their shocking form for two reasons. One was Lodi returned to Catania who is somewhat of a witch doctor for them and Diamanti was out for Bologna, somewhat of a witch doctor for them. I also expected the Bologna coach to be sacked if they lost, and two days later he was and is now replaced with the ex, Genoa coach.

Lazio meanwhile have a new old coach, as he was the previous coach at Lazio who got sacked only to return( Presidents and coaches are not so different from lovers) Lazio however managed a surprise win against Inter(who were called a bunch of losers in the press after that Udine loss) and will surely feel light on their feet.

Lazio have indifferent form and the problems at the club were clear after their 4-1 defeat to Verona. They sit 10th W/D/L almost in equal amounts. Their Achilles heel is playing away as they have good form at home.

Bologna have the sliding scale over the season of W3 D6 L9. Bologna’s big problem is they are scoring half the goals the concede 17/33, whereas Lazio are again even with 23/26. Lazio have the edge historically.

The game is almost stalemate in many ways. The thing that will change it is if Diamanti can get his forward group to play to his movement. He is unpredictable. If he is on he and his pals can be outstanding, when off, awful. Lazio on the other hand have solid performances especially from the superb Candreva and the older, seen it all, Klose. I think the difference may be made with Klose and Candreva. The new Bologna coach may need time, unless he knows clearly what the problem is this year with Bologna and a few results could go against them before a change.

      1pt Lazio win at 13/10
2pt Under 2.5 goals 4/7 (under in 8 out of the last 10 games for Lazio, Bologna have unders in half their home games this season)
      Candreva to score 11/4 anytime
      1-1 draw at 5/1

    130. honda 10 years ago

Honda, Sutton commited a foul as his teammate stuck the ball in the net from a rebound so it was disallowed.

    131. NAMELESS 10 years ago

Not sure, it came up on bet365 and then went to a hearts free kick, offside maybe?

    139. craigdon 10 years ago

Motherwell’s disallowed goal was a push from Sutton while Anier Scored. Sounded dubious but I tried to warn the punters on here that this would be a narrow Motherwell win, not the 2 or 3 goal pumping everyone was backing. Anyway onto bards and united games, thinking a both to score double should be shooty in?

    140. raaljaca 10 years ago

      *** WON *** :( :( :(

Watch the highlights of the Hearts game and see why Scottish referees, Willie Collum especially, are the most pathetic individuals in football. We could have won this match today had the referee given us a break and awarded deserved penalties. Almost 13000 at Tynie today as well.

Swany, we were honestly the better side. The refereeing was horrendous, we had 3 penalty claims turned down, 2 off which were stonewallers. Glad you got that double up and nice NAP horse wise mate. Stick with O’Toole week after week because Bristol Rovers are fighting hard now.

My treble i posted earlier of Blackburn,Brentford and Everton came in no sweat but not great odds, also the over 2.5 goals i advised and put the stats up for in the Fulham v Sunderland game came in with plenty to spare @ 5/6.
This is now 6 days in a row of posting all winners and no losses all with reasoning and stats for all picks, hopefully the good form continues for the 7/2 shot id posted earlier for the Atletico v Barcelona game this evening, but all good runs come to an end at some point dont they???. :)

There’s no real way to cover a 9/1 6 fold where I’m only waiting on Man U to win, is there? It was only for small stakes and I’ll get the money back as a free bet from William Hill if they don’t win.

    162. Peelez 10 years ago

      Alright guys.. And mr f

Waiting on Coventry for £582 tomorrow on a 9 fold acca, bet365 let me cash out at £245

      What should I do?

      • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Peelez, only you can decide. Personally I’d check team news as there were suggestions earlier Coventry could be weakened up front. If Coventry are missing the likes of Deon Burton it might be worth taking it.

Coventry are 11/10 with bet365 so £245 cash-out is a bit mean. Would you bet Coventry single for £245? probably not but you could cash-out then bet Coventry for maybe half the money.

Peelez, we don’t know your money situation so can’t really advise.

if you hadn’t done the accumulator and you saw Coventry odds at roughly 1/1, would you put £245 on it?

    165. Redskins 10 years ago

Two singles on today honda and two winners! (Scunny and burnley).

Did also have two trebles that let me down by one but old habits die hard! Did still make a small profit for the day :)

Just wanted to say thanks for your advice yesterday, I just need a bit of that discipline thing you keep talking about ;)

      • honda 10 years ago

That’s top stuff to hear redskins! Seeing that discipline work wonders already! 2 singles on, 1 winner, treble down thanks to Peterhead. Tiny loss but insignificant, just being a crybaby because I thought Motherwell would atleast get 2! Hence my poor day comment earlier. Glad to hear you had a good day though redskins :)

Luke a sevilla had awful away for but that seems to be behind them now I think sevilla will do you well tonight mate. My concern would be city Newcastle are no mugs especially at home they were unlucky against arsenal and I think you should watch in play see how it goes and you may get a chance to cover if needs be. I think you will be fine tonight mate

      • honda 10 years ago

Oor man! I am looking ahead and have no doubt you’ll have a write up tomorrow, but what are your early thoughts on Atalanta tomorrow ?

      • Oor man in Napoli 10 years ago

Honda, Tricky at this moment as Lodi has returned to Catania, his first game was last week and he assisted and scored in the 2-0 win. Atalanta played well in the first half v AC and were unlucky. So id slide to Atalanta but only just at the moment. The safe ones will be Juve and AC then Roma on monday.

      • honda 10 years ago

Ah fair enough oor man! Just stood out abit as Atalanta home form isn’t bad W2 D2 L1 and have scored in all their last 5. Whereas Catania have lost all last 5, conceding 4 three times and 2 twice. Also have only scored 1 goal in two of those matches. But an important player returning can change things even though Catania must have little confidence with a goal difference of -20.

      • Oor man in Napoli 10 years ago

I think the question is can the witch doctor(lodi) be enough to ignore their entire seasons form. Amazingly, its possible. It sounds impossible but this guy in Catania is a real leader. We will see.

Evening guys, just flicked through the comments and saw Xmarine 85 make a case for a Sevilla win and with the O1.5 goals. I agree with him Sevilla have won their last 5 away games, whilst Elche have lost their last four matches. It has to be an away win for me at 21/20 Various.

The Columbian striker Carlos Bacca has landed me a few winning bets this season and with nine goals already this season, I want to be on him to continue Elche poor run of form. He is 15/8 Bet365.

      SEVILLA TO WIN 21/20
      BACCA TO SCORE 15/8

Good luck if your having a bet

    201. thechief 10 years ago

Well done Raaljaca mate you’re doing the business with your African and Asian football bets :)

Candle party? I would imagine thats getting on your wick Davie!!

    203. Davie-S 10 years ago

I knew if anyone was going to wax-lyrical about my predicament it would be you Raalj..

      • raaljaca 10 years ago

Thats what I’m here for Davie ;)

    204. thechief 10 years ago

No not really Raaljaca I’m not a fan of the BDO darts, did watch most of the Bunting and Green match was pretty good and Bunting will take some stopping tomorrow. I was pleased to see the stage survived :)

      • raaljaca 10 years ago

Standard is ridiculously poor Chief as you will know but through up a good match last night with Norris and Wilson, 21 180’s in the match which I think is a decent amount? Bunting will beat Norris though I’m sure.

      • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

raaljaca, not seem much of the BDO but Bunting is a class apart. You noticed any prices because he will win – probably quite easily.

      • raaljaca 10 years ago

Mr F, surprisingly Bunting is available at 4/9, short I admit but before checking I thought I would be seeing around 1/4 or 2/9 for him. Norris hits a few 180’s but tends to fall away during games where as Bunting is really doing the business consistently this time around. I reckon 7-3 Bunting (6/1) might be close enough.

      • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

raaljaca, much bigger than I thought. I’ll put some of today’s winning on that and have a look at the handicaps – maybe -2 sets. Cheers.

      • raaljaca 10 years ago

        A contender for Super Single tomorrow Mr F;

Bunting (-2.5) to beat Norris (Evens) Paddy Power

I like the look of it so much I have just backed it because I cannot see it lasting.

      • raaljaca 10 years ago

        Great minds Mr F !

      • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

raaljaca, I like it very much but will need to be a football I think.

      • raaljaca 10 years ago

I will be doubling your SS with it too then Mr F. I put it up on the Racing Thread as well as it really does look a fantastic double your money bet.

    205. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Haha he’s some unit the Chief, stereotypical darts player!

    206. Sonix 10 years ago

      Hi mr F,
Just wondered if i could get your email address for one on one chat.

    207. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Davie S that sounds like a no bad night to be honest! Peace, laptop, Doug and a some port, have had worse nights, haha!

Think in total I posted 10 results today, and manged 5 correct – for every Wigan over 2.5 there was a Motherwell goal short, the ones that didn’t come in were probably the ones I was most confidant about ( Pererhead, Rangers, Motherwell goals) no real change in the bankroll from
My selections but Mr F helped grow it with his draws!

      On to tomorrow’s card!

      • raaljaca 10 years ago

Greg, correction Davie had the dug in his room not Doug!! One letter does really make a huge difference to his statement!!!!

      • Davie-S 10 years ago

Phew cheers for clearing that up Raalj i thought it was some sort of colloquial pronunciation, Greg that’s how rumours start..

      • raaljaca 10 years ago

No problem Davie, anymore of that nonsense from Mr Browning and we will see him in court!!

      • Davie-S 10 years ago

i’m just glad my boyfriend never read it, he gets so jealous…

      • raaljaca 10 years ago

Doug still the jealous type then Davie?? :)

      • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Greg, strangely draws and scorers boosted me today plus the Super Single. Dundee and Peterhead cost me a few quid though and I only put Cardiff on one line.

NFL DIVISIONAL PLAYOFFS Saints @ Seahawks ko 21:35

The top seed in the NFC Seattle Seahawks welcome, Drew Brees and his New Orleans Saints to find out who will contents the NFC championship game. Seattle are the 1/5 favourites.

Seattle are so short for a number of reasons, they are No1 seeds, they play at home were Century Link Field is rated as the hardest and loudest place to go for visiting teams. These two met in Seattle in week 13 and Seattle hammered the Saints 34-7 it was the Saints biggest loss of the season.

New Orleans beat Philadelphia in last weeks wildcard game on the back of a strong running game, which surprised many as the Saints are renowned for their passing offence. Running against one of the best run Defences wont get the job done here, but it will open the passing game up if Saints get some success.

I think this will be closer than what the bookmakers think. Arizona won in Seattle a few weeks back and although I am not reading to much in to that has Seattle had all but sewn up the division. Saints players all week have been talking about payback and how embarrassed they were in week 13. As I always said this is the playoffs no second chances, no next week to put it right, I think Saints stay within the 9.5 Handicap at 10/11 Various.

In the anytime scorer market I have gone with one from each side, and they are probably the two men who will have to come up big for their sides to win. Saints TE Jimmy Graham has 16tds on the season and a former basketball player is a mismatch if Saints get into the red zone. He is 6/5 at Hills.

For Seattle the game plan will be simple, hand the ball to RB Marshawn Lynch, he has 14 tds this season and is 4/6 to score at Coral. He ran for another one thousand yard season (1,257) and if Saints front four don’t step up, Lynch will run all over them.

NEW ORLEANS +9.5 TO BEAT SEATTLE 10/11
      GRAHAM TO SCORE 6/5
      LYNCH TO SCORE 4/6

Good luck if your having a bet

That’s the thing with draws and goals scorers Mr F, small stakes good returns! Yeah good to see saints back to winning ways, back in the top 6 and Hearts next wee at home ( 3 points Raal? :)

      • raaljaca 10 years ago

More than likely Greg but we were actually really good today, playing as a team and creating chances, against a decent side. If you can please watch the highlights then tell me Collum is totally unbiased!! He was a disgrace today.

    222. honda 10 years ago

Suuuuuuuure now they decide to score lol

    223. Stevie H 10 years ago

1 team let me down – Cardiff. Has to be said when a team cant even score at home to a team who has been shocking form, leaking goals in all over the place and a new manager with a fresh aproach, they should be relegated. Some will say its me being angry and the fact they let me down but if I was a cardiff fan I would be very worried. Shocking

    224. FATHEAD 10 years ago

If we needed anymore proof that Fulham will be going down , look no further than their bench. Ray Wilkins ffs, overrated player and guaranteed to bore the arse off us all. I’m backing against them for the rest of the season.

    225. Tommy 10 years ago

Stevie – tomorrow is another day, when we stick to singles mostly that’s not gonna be a disaster after one, two or even three ‘bad’ days. Today wasn’t that bad for me though

    226. honda 10 years ago

The Chief, really unlucky. If Bacca didn’t squander his good chance and his sitter, both your bets would be in I think!

    227. DeAndre 10 years ago

Colts to beat the Pats 27/10! Get on…or don’t up to you I guess ;-)

    228. thechief 10 years ago

Honda, you’re right mate had he, but unfortunately it was one of them games for him. That’s the way it goes sometimes. (he should have scored though) :)

    229. thechief 10 years ago

DeAndre I fancy the Colts on the handicap, I like both underdogs with the start tonight, but Saints are doing their best to blow it. Lynch has scored for me, but need Peyton to get his offence sorted.

    230. Danny T 10 years ago

Deandre where are you getting those odds?

    231. Danny T 10 years ago

Is this colts on the money line ? Forgive my ignorance over American sports

    232. thechief 10 years ago

Danny Colts are 27/10 on the money line with Skybet and Paddy Power were giving same odds earlier today.

    233. Danny T 10 years ago

So is that a straight win is that what money line is? Again forgive my ignorance cheers the chief

    234. thechief 10 years ago

Indianapolis Colts @ New England Patriots

The Patriots are undefeated at home this season 8-0. They last lost at home in the AFC Championship game against the Superbowl champions Baltimore Ravens.

The weather has been terrible across the pond and that may play a part in this game. Colts are averaging 30pts a game in their last 4 games and overturned a 28pts deficit on the road in Kansas last week. The Patriots are also suffering on their defence.

It is brave or foolish to go against Bill Belichick and QB Tom Brady at home, and if Indianapolis play like they did in the first half last week they will lose. I would not be shocked with a Colts win, I will take them on the handicap with a 7.5 start at 10/11 Boylesport. Colts are 8/11 to score O20.5pts Betfred, this could be about 8pts on the low side especially if it turns out to be a shootout.

New England defensive players are dropping like flies and Colts QB Andrew Luck could punish them. TY Hilton had over 2tds last week and speed kills, if Luck connects then Hilton is gone. He is 13/10 Ladbrokes.

For the New England Patriots, QB Tom Brady will go down as one of the best of all time, and I think his big game experience is key here. He can make all the plays but RB LeGarrette Blount is a big man, and has 7 touchdowns this season he is a big problem for the Colts rushing defence especially close to the endzone. Blount is 1/1 Various to score.
