MY run of bad luck ended with two good Super Singles and at one stage it was looking like four winners.
I put faith in Rangers and Celtic with 6pts on the -2 and -1 handicaps respectively to win 7.2pts – although one was given back as a cover and that was nearly a winner too.
Earlier Villarreal -1 had come in at 7-5 and feeling bullish I added Spurs -1AH at home to Leicester having seen the teams. No Vardy and no Mahrez and eight changes by the Tinkerman convinced to back the home but the Foxed didn't lie down in a thrilling tie.
So the Super Single losses have been massively cut and will hopefully be back in profit by the end of the week. Now I'll have to tackle the accumulators.
Greg also had a good day with his nap and NB on the Spurs game both landing and we started a new £10 to £100 challenge on the forum with winners. My two Bets of the Day also won on teams to score.
Monday's a quiet one although the abandoned Nacional v Benfica game has been rescheduled for 12pm and yesterday I tipped Benfica to win and both teams to score.
Without spending hours of research the match that has caught my eye today is Pacos Ferreira v Vitoria Setubal in the Portuguese league. The dilemma is both to score or over 2.5 goals?
Over pays better at 6-5 with BetVictor and others but I'm going slightly safer with both to score at 21-20 with Coral. I was reading some stats from the Racing Post's Kevin Pullein today about common scorelines and it's 1-1 – about 12 per cent of games.
So let's hope 1-1 has a better chance than say 3-0. Four of the last six meetings have seen both score and three have gone over including 4-1 and 5-3 wins for Pacos who have triumped in five of six against Setubal and who are 10-11 at bet365 and Ladbrokes to pick up the points.
But I'm sticking with goals as I'm often advised. Five of Vitoria's last seven have brought up btts as have three of Pacos' last four with the other being a 6-0 win against Union Madeira.
I've been putting up teams to score singles and noticed Pacos are evens to score on William Hill coupons and 1-25 online. I'll check later if they're giving the evens but I doubt it.
Yesterday I put up a Super Single for Tuesday – Crystal Palace at 7-5 to win at Aston Villa. It's too big considering Villa haven't won in 16 and were poor again as they drew at Wycombe in the FA Cup at the weekend and there will be full reasoning and an English betting preview much later.

Kelly I had a double with betfair on Juventus and Benfica on btts and teams to win,about 15 minutes after what should have been f/t they had paid me out on the single.I noticed Mr F had put up this morning that the game was being played at 12.00 today,after seeing the result at work I phoned them,to be fair the guy on the phone must have been deluged with the same call and they promptly paid out the double about 10 minutes later.There was a difference of 250 quid,so well done Betfair.I still think this is a grey area with all bookies,i.e. why did they(Betfair)pay out so quick on the single when Coral will have you wait 3 days???

mofield, unfortunately different firms have different rules. Many deem Monday the start of a new week so will void a game abandoned on a Sunday even if it’s played the next day.
I said yesterday anyone who wasn’t happy with it being voided should simply put their winnings on whatever their bet was on the Benfica match.

If you are trying to match yourself against Mr fixer and Greg, surely all tips should be accounted for.
elvis parsley, Kelly’s doing well but it’s her interpretation of mine and Greg’s bets. Greg of course doesn’t advise points totals so she has to decide and with mine some long shots have been included that had no points, perms aren’t taken into account and neither are cover bets.

yeah just seen that i looked up team news and it said he was the top scorer 8 in 16 and was playing and bet365 had him listed aswell.
elvis top bets are part of my bank i put up on site as my experiment i have. i am not trying to go up against mrf or greg as long term i think i would fail against them as i believe them to be far better tipsters than myself. i pick and choose what bets i put in my bets of the day as i go along as i believe them to be the best bets i can pick. other bets i do during day i cant put most of them up in the morning as the markets are not always available they are limited

i do a lot of bets i like at kick off as all markets come into play, but dont think it would be fair to put them up as top tips when people who want to follow cannot be at computer at specific times of games, realistically i would love bookies to have all markets available from midnight but they dont unfortunately. so i have to skip by them games and concentrate on games with the most markets available. for instance i liked benfica over 2.5 team goals before kickoff at 3/1 instead had to settle for 13/8 inplay when i came home and had already scored, whereas if it had of been all markets early this morning i would have made it my top bet today not my best example but i hope you get my point.

Should be goals Crane, but the bookies don’t give anything away. Over 2.5 is just 1.33. Utrecht had a friendly on Saturday and beat Volendam 5-1 on the same field they will play tomorrow. Cambuur were beaten 4-2 in their last friendly against Jupiler league leaders Sparta in Spain. The meeting in the league ended 3-3 back in September, so I think over 3.5 match goals in a decent bet @ 1.87

Coral just pulled their markets on this while I was literally putting my bets on.
They had brilliant alternative markets running and the first time I submitted my bets they suspended them cos the prices got better and when I resubmitted they’d pulled the game – don’t see why they suspend a bet cos the price got bigger, if you’re happy with original price you’re not exactly gonna turn down better odds are you.
