HullShaker’s Tips: Allstars’ light has gone out

TONIGHT'S card is thinner than craneguy’s Mensa application form but there could just be a glimmer of value in the shape of those wonderful NILFs.

It looks like Ballymena Allstars' light is fading fast over the last 12 months – they were walloped out of the Ladies Prem last season with some absolute hidings including being knocked for 10 three times towards the end of the relegation campaign.

Life in the Championship hasn’t started overly well either – the Allstars sit bottom after four successive defeats snd although the first three were low scorers their most recent game ended 4-2.

Lurgan Town have been steady away but boy do their games see some action … match goal totals in 2018 reflect this better than anything with 10, 4, 8, 5, 7, 3 in successive games.
