REALLY like the look of this match on Wednesday night.
DARLINGTON v BLYTH SPARTANS (7.45pm)
Serious NE derby here and the rain-sodden carpark’s whippet holding cages have been sold out since May.
Darlo were my lower league darlings in 2016-2017 but the last campaign was a mixed affair – they’ve started this one with a bang mind and their opponents will be heading down to Blackwell Meadows with their roll-ups clenched firmly in their mouths after annihilating Chester 8-1 in their last game.
Both sides have seen at least 3 goals in each of their last 4 matches with the same AND btts in 10 of their last collective 12.
H2H's have hardly been turgid affairs either; 5 of the last 6 have seen 3+ match goals with 50% seeing ‘btts and overs’ get the green light – with Blyth in the ascendancy in recent seasons, I can see them blotting Darlo’s books in what could be a cracker in County Durham.
Three selections to consider:
- Darlington over 1.5 team goals (4-5, bet365)
- Btts and over 2.5 goals (4-5, bet365)
- Btts first half (11-4, bet365)

Hullshaker– yes Ive supported the Quakers since they were in the old Third Division back in the mid 60’s as a young boy.
As I got older I switched allegiance to teh mighty Middlesbrough and been there ever since.
