HEARTS v RANGERS – McBOOKIE FREE IN-PLAY BET OFFER

Goalkeeper

IT’S crunch night at Ibrox on Friday with runaway Championship leaders Hearts taking on Rangers – and McBookie are offering Scottish punters a fantastic free £25 in-play bet offer.

To qualify, simply place a bet before kick-off then once the game starts place another bet on any in-play market. If your FIRST in-play bet loses McBookie will refund this stake (max £25 real cash).

This is similar to the bet365 offer that we’re all big fans of, although the McBookie one has a few subtle differences. The max bet is £25 and and it is the first pre-match bet that qualifies you rather than the largest. Also, the pre-match and in-play bet must be the same size. And the offer is only open to Scottish residents only.

All terms and conditions for the offer can be found on the McBookie site and if you don’t have an account with them simply click the links on this site to get set up.

As for strategy, my preference is to place a £25 pre-match bet on over 0.5 match goals at odds of 1-20, which pays back £26.25. I also cover the 0-0 draw with a bet of just over £2 with a different bookie at odds of around 12-1.

So that pretty much leaves the in-play bet with McBookie as a free £25 punt.

There are of course plenty of other ways and Mr Fixit’s tactics are different – he tells me his first bet is £25 on Hearts draw no bet and he’ll be looking to back Hearts to win inplay if they start well.

So good luck with whatever you choose and hopefully we all make a few quid.

Already have a couple of bets on the game, Hearts to win & Hearts to score in both halves. Will give this a bash though,

Raal what’s your thoughts on Callum Paterson scoring? 18/1 1st goal & 6/1 anytime

Or Prince Bauban? Am I right in thinking he’s the penalty taker? 16/1 1st & 5/1 anytime.

Will likely go on one of these, place the anytime scorer bet before kick off then the 1st goal scorer in play, meaning if the player doesn’t score 1st but scores anytime, you win the pre match bet and get a refund on the in play one

AL, last week Zeefuik took it and missed – a case of what Zeefuik! Raaljaca might know best. In my opinion Paterson has a better chance of an assist than a goal.

So he did, could have just been as he was on a hat trick? Who knows though.

Looking for something at big odds along those lines, might even go for a correct scores if Raal isn’t optimistic for Paterson scoring or Bauban taking pens.

Darran, Hearts have been widely tipped on the site and I’m in agreement. I’ve taken them as my main bet to win at 12-5 and will probably take them on the handicaps in-play

Keatings also missed a pen in the game a couple of weeks ago . But walker scored a pen against rangers I believe so maybe it’s not a set penalty taker

Jamie walker will be on penalties and has been confirmed previously on hearts website. Jamie only passed ball to Genero Zeefuik last week at Dumbarton as he was on a hat trick if he scored. It’s 22-1 for hearts to miss one I noticed earlier and as we are poor this season at taking pens it may be worth a small stake. Shouldn’t matter in the long run as we should win with goals to spare today.

does Birmingham qualify me as a Scottish residents? Oh I know I work with a fife lady maybe if i tell them that they might let me play. My Uncle and Cousin Live up at fort William i could ask them. As my kids would say that’s not fair!

hudmystar, they’re Scottish based and that’s their rule – they’ve been bonus abused by too many people outside Scotland. Get your cousin and uncle to open accounts and it use it twice.

Looks like Raal was right and Paterson is starting up front!

Gone for Paterson anytime at 5/1 for my pre match bet, and will be placing my in play bet on him to score 1st at 16/1
