Brooks Koepka hit top form in yesterday’s second round and has moved up to T5. He came alive in his back nine with four birdies and no bogeys. It was superb play from the American and puts him into a great position for the weekend. He takes on Ian Poulter who was having a his own stunning round. Sitting three under he arrived at his 17th (the 8th) looking like he was going to be out with leader Dustin Johnson today, however his tee shot landed only 156 yards from the hole but his second was bunker bound. From them on it went from bad to worse and a triple bogey 7 was the best he could get. He bogeyed the 9th (his 18th) and finished on +1. I think that could have knocked the stuffing out of the Englishman and the way Koepka played yesterday I fancy him to win this battle.

Brooks Koepka to beat Ian Poulter (Betfred 4-5)
