On the first day of the Masters I picked Paul Casey to defeat Jason Day in a mythical two ball. Now it’s Jason Day’s turn to do the business. He’s up against South African Branden Grace today, who has been steady with two 73s. Grace had a good front nine yesterday but it all came apart at Amen Corner where he bogeyed 10, 11 and 12. He did birdie the two final par 5s but finished the day with a bogey. Day on the other hand started off with a 75 but yesterday got back on song with a one under par 71. It’s interesting that he has only birdied two of the eight par 5s and bogeyed one. He has to improve on that stat and if he manages to do that I think he can beat the South African.
Day to beat Grace (Ladbrokes 8-11)
