Leading after 54 holes at the weekend the pressure was really on my pick Lucas Glover (80-1). He played well but unfortunately an errant iron shot from the tee at the par three 17th put paid to his chances. Still he finished third and I am happy with my return.

El Camaleon Golf Club in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, was the second easiest par 71 last season, so we could be in for another exciting OHL Classic following on from last year. Last year the OHL Classic was won by Graeme McDowell after a three way play-off. Putting and GIR could be the important factors here.

WIth the stats required for here I make no apologies in picking three of the guys I have selected in the past few weeks.
First Luke List has been showing some great form with a T26, 2nd and a T15 last weekend in the Shriners. Last season from 24 starts List missed 15 cuts, with a highest finish of T6. This season he has certainly stepped up to the plate as I mentioned last week he is one to look out for. With Overall Putting Average of 1.583, Strokes Gained:Putting .495 and GIR 71.76 he certainly fits the criteria needed here.

Not having won on Tour since May 2015 at the Crowne Plaza, Chris Kirk has really come out fighting this season. With a T8 at the Safeway Open, he followed that up with a T2 at the Sanderson Farms but had a wobble at the weekend in the Shriners when he hit 75 and 74 not helped by two double bogeys. His stats for OPA (1.551) and SG:P (1.072) are very good and with a GIR of 72.22% he also fits the bill as long as he gets over the poor showing at the weekend.

Cody Gribble got off to a terrible start last week when he bogeyed the third, then douible bogeyed the fourth and fifth but still finished with a one over par 72. He managed to recover with a 66 in the second round but . He didn’t play that badly but he just couldn’t get the birdies to catch the leading. The lefthanded Sanderson Farms winner has all the attributes to win again the Tour. He’s not afraid to attack and with his Overall Putting Average of 1.542, Strokes Gained:Putting 1.673 and GIR 71.30% he has the game to win again on the Tour.

1.50 ew Luke List (Stan James 80-1)
1.50 ew Chris Kirk (BetVictor 35-1)
1.50 ew Cody Gribble (Coral 80-1)
