I WAS going to post my five to follow on Friday morning but I’m glad I held off.

There are already 17 games postponed – 16 in League One and League Two – so I’ve had to take another look.

My five to follow kicks off with QPR who look well priced to beat lowly Wolves. Mark Hughes has quickly transformed Rangers into an organised and hard-working unit.

Lack of goals were a problem under Neil Warnock but new boys Djibril Cisse and Bobby Zamora should chip in with their fair share.

Wolves weren’t big spenders in the window and boss Mick McCarthy is under fire after another tepid display against Liverpool in midweek. Take Rangers at a biggest 20-21 at boylesports.

Next I’m looking at Ipswich who posted an incredible 5-1 win against Championship leaders West Ham in midweek.

They’ll head to Coventry full of confidence after ending a run of six games without success. Strangely they scored in all of those matches so a good performance was never far away.

Coventry were unlucky to lose to Blackpool in midweek following a good home win over Middlesbrough. It has the feel of a narrow Ipswich win with both teams on target. Ipswich are a biggest 21-10 at BetVictor.

Next take West Ham to bounce back from that mauling by beating Millwall at home. Sam Allardyce brought in two proven Championship scorers during the window, Bristol City’s Nicky Maynard and Barnsley’s Ricardo Vaz Te, and they should galvanise a side that was lacking in goals.

Both could make their debuts for Sam Allardyce’s men against a Millwall side who have been a bit hit and miss in recent weeks. You can have the Hammers at 8-13 with Ladbrokes and Coral.

With most of the League One and Two matches frozen off I’m staying in the Championship with Burnley who are at home to Peterborough.

Burnley were easy winners at Nottm Forest in midweek and are unbeaten in three after a good point at Derby and win over Middlesbrough. Peterborough have lost four in a row and in the middle of a barren run. Take Burnley at 4-5 at Betfred.

Finally, head to Scotland for the Third Division clash between East Stirling and Stranraer. Shire have lost nine goals in two meetings with the Blues this season and hit Elgin for five last week.

Bottom dogs Shire have picked up four points from their last two games but are likely to be overpowered on the Ochilview plastic. Take Stranraer at 4-7 with William Hill.
