MAN CITY beat my homes and top treble by failing to cover the -1 handicap against Hull – and for me that was disappointing with my other picks on those lines all winning.
I suffered my first February loss on the Super Single with Hamilton being held 0-0 by crisis-hit Kilmarnock. Going by stats and match reports it looks like Accies missed a pile of chances.
That was a 3pt pick so profit for the month 9pts and I'll hope to improve on that on Sunday.
I've posted a separate preview on the two William Hill Scottish Cup ties and in the Premier League we have Burnley-West Brom, Newcastle-Stoke and West Ham-Man Utd and none of them look easy calls although the Hammers have injury problems.
Centre-halves Winston Reid, James Collins, James Tomkins and Doneil Henry are all doubts as are right-backs Carl Jenkinson and Guy Demel. Man Utd have few injury concerns and while they have drawn six times on the road they could tempt at 1-1 with William Hill.
There are big games in Italy and in La Liga Barcelona will hope to take advantage of Real Madrid trouncing by Atletico with a win at Athletic Bilbao.
Biggest game of all could be in France where leaders Lyon entertain a PSG side who are just two points adrift.
My European treble was beaten yesterday by Borussia Dortmund who decided it was time to start playing but well done to Scott Allott whose 2+ goals treble came in thanks to Wolfsburg, Villarreal and Porto.
I backed against Dortmund partly on their shocking display at home to 10-man Augsburg when they lost 1-0 in midweek but maybe Augsburg should have had more credit for the result.
Augsburg are up to joint fourth and dreaming of a first-ever Champions League place. They have won seven of their eight matches at home and are unbeaten in four against today's opponents Eintracht Frankfurt. My Super Single is Augsburg at 1-1 with BetVictor.
Barca haven't won in Bilbao since 2010 but have a great chance to end that run against a side who sit mid-table having lost four in front of their own fans this season. Barca can close the gap on Real to one point and are in fine scoring form with 16 in four La Liga outings. Lionel Messi and Neymar look unstoppable just now and I'm on the away at 4-11 with bookies including BetVictor.
Add Dunde Utd for reasons stated in the Scottish Cup thread and complete the treble with Fiorentina at home to lowly Atlanta in the early Italian game. Fiorentina beat their opponents 3-1 at home in the cup last month and 1-0 away at the start of the season.
They will be boosted by last week's 2-0 cup success against Roma and in all competitions have lost one in nine.

With all due respect, I find serie A the toughest league to pick winners and tend to stay well clear. Man City cost me big yesterday had £60 on them on two bets only team that drew out of a 5 and 6 fold total return would have been over £400. Hamilton also cost me another £20 on a all Scottish 4 fold with a return of £94.
Then I did one last crazy bet of Bastia, bourdaux, Zurich and seriang with massive odds/return, of corse seriang went 2 down first half with all the rest winning, and they had the lowest odds! Zurich was a massive 3.10 and they won 4-1. Seriang came back to 2-2 but the other team scored again so quick I couldn’t even cash out.. Heartbreaking day man city cost me big time.

A lot of talk about Man City blowing a lot of punter’s bets. I am not sure why anyone has bothered backing them to be honest. There is an almighty stat that has been working against them and that it they have not won without Toure in their team since April/May 2014. I think I may have had them in a bet since January but after that totally swerved them and will continue to do so until he is back!
Alex, one of the main reasons I backed City was because of Hull’s form – but you;re right they’re missing Toure.

The Perm any 3 and all 4 means do a total of 5 bets in your multiples – do 4 x trebles (i.e. you are covering all permutations in case 1 result lets you down) and also do the 1 x fourfold – total of 5 bets.

Jordan I used “blasted”to express my annoyance. You win some you lose some. Your gaffer needs to get the cull, scandalous playing Rooney where he is at the moment.
That’s it mate we go on. I’d have to disagree on the Van Gaal comment though. Rooney was terrible today as was Di Maria, Falcao, and most of the other players in front of Blind, but if Rooney doesn’t play in CM then Fellaini or Herrera does and do they get back enough? I’d had to say no. Rooney is an engine but it’s not his fault when the whole team was playing bad around him. We looked like West Ham did last season (long ball tactics) up to our ageing strikers, and when we did play it on the floor it was unbelievably sloppy. 1-0 down and we make one sub the whole game in the mid 70th minute. Just poor decisions on one day. It’ll be a much different story on Wednesday and Rooney will still be the center of midfield.

Gotta be around that mark but don’t forget, he’s 29 in about 10 minutes, had a serious knee injury and has never played in the Premier League. One bad game and everyone is on his back, I could have finished that with my eyes closed but it won’t take one good performance or a hat-trick for people to be licking his arse. He was no worse than any other United player today. In fact, he’s done a lot more than Van Persie in recent weeks. Just my opinion. I have no reason to back him up but I’d rather have him there than RVP next season with recent performances.
