Share Option already fallen to 12/1 (Bet365)

  2. Milesey 5 years ago

I see it’s 12/1 on betfair too, the e/w punters are hammering this in ! It opened yesterday at 33/1, i got on at 28/1, doesn’t mean a thing though if it doesn’t get a place. Will lose the e/w value soon but no one is taking it on to win.

  3. John Henderson 5 years ago

Top race the day 3.00pm Doncaster be good guide for champion hurdle Cheltenham Rock on Ruby v Darlan.

  4. john 5 years ago

Share option? Is it wise backing a horse with those odds? Or is this something bookies do to confuse punters?

  5. Milesey 5 years ago

It was worth backing yesterday at 28/1, but now has been cut right in, can see it at 10/1 in a few places, it’s one for the e/w punters.

  6. George kelly 5 years ago

My lump of the day was utopie

  7. JohnnyNK 5 years ago

hi,im new over here :) the tips are for win right?

    • Milesey 5 years ago

well thats upto you, if you want to do e/w on a 4-5 horse 😉 😉

  8. Max 5 years ago

Opinion seems pretty divided on the 3:00 @ Doncaster. Not to question your wisdom Milesey, but I’m going to take Rock on Ruby E/W. Darlan seems to have some legitimate competition out there…

    • Milesey 5 years ago

You can’t do anything e/w, only 4 runners, it’s WIN and WIN only market ! 😉

  9. George kelly 5 years ago

Hmm why is utopies price falling!!?

    • Milesey 5 years ago

      what do you mean ?

Short priced favourite, nothing else in this race is anywhere near the same class, so being backed right in for the win, and now the serious punters are on it trying to buy some money !

  10. madi 5 years ago

just took a punt on share option ew after reading the comments here and not much footie to bet on

  11. Milesey 5 years ago

    •Doncaster 1.20 UTOPIE DES BORDES 4-7

    W I N N E R

  12. George kelly 5 years ago

No, it was 1/4 earlier, wet out as short as 4/11 before te race started, that’s what I meant.

    • Milesey 5 years ago

oh okay, wasn’t watching the market, guess that 1/4 was too short for some and therefore went elsewhere looking for some value, therefore changed the price abit.

  13. George kelly 5 years ago

Small punt e/w on life and soul in the 1:50 Doncaster

  14. Guido 5 years ago

not looking good for darlan, sad scenes a Doncaster

  22. Paul g 5 years ago

Watched it again there, nasty wit darlan, shame

    • Milesey 5 years ago

Tony McCoy is not injured but he has stood himself down from his two remaining rides at Doncaster today.

Nicky Henderson was in tears after Darlan’s fatal fall and said: “It’s some game, isn’t it? Why is it always the good ones.”

It has been confirmed Darlan took a fatal fall at the last flight at Doncaster in the 32Red Hurdle

Lining up in the Listed 32Red Hurdle as an even-money favourite, Darlan looked a likely winner as he cruised to the last in the hands of Tony McCoy.

However, the Nicky Henderson-trained runner met the hurdle all wrong and crashed to the ground.

Although McCoy escaped unscathed, he stood himself down for the rest of the day.

Henderson, who was visibly upset by the loss of his up-and-coming star, said: “It’s some game, isn’t it?

“Why is it always the good ones?”

Owned by JP McManus, Darlan was among the top rank as a novice last term and had been expected to prove a major rival for ante-post favourite Hurricane Fly at Cheltenham next month.

The six-year-old graduated to Grade One success when running away with the Christmas Hurdle at Kempton on Boxing Day.

He is not the first star McManus has lost in tragic circumstances, with last year’s Gold Cup winner Synchronised losing his life after a fall when running loose in last year’s Grand National.

Darlan’s death understandably overshadowed victory for reigning champion hurdler Rock On Ruby.

Countrywide Flame had set the early pace, with Rock On Ruby sat on his heels before making his challenge at the top of the straight under Noel Fehily.

He was slightly in front and under pressure coming to the last when Darlan suffered his fall, leaving the 13-8 shot to come home three lengths clear of Countrywide Flame

    Two Lumps Today:
    •Doncaster 3.00 DARLAN 4-5
    •Wolverhampton 4.55 DESERT VISION 4-6

Never thought when i chose these two last night, that it would all end up like this for the two of them. What a sad sad day, and my thoughts go out to all connected with the 3 horses today who have lost their lives, puts horse racing really into perspective when you get a tragic day like this.

  44. rob erskine 5 years ago

    Well said milesey. RIP

  45. Muzza 5 years ago

Crikey I did not realise all 3 had died. Terrible day and I agree. Well said Milesey

Ok, your tribute and tips are posted. What do you think about Orient tonight and how’s your weather? I’m looking at a white-out although it’s now stopped snowing.

      • Milesey 5 years ago

cheers Mr F, weather is cold, sunny, very very strong wind bklowing from the north though, no snow today, but showers forecasted for tomorrow.

I fancy Colchester against Swindon, and a stevenage fc win for tonight.

Milesey, I see Swindon are really struggling for bodies although they managed to draw at Crawley with about 14 fit players. What about Orient – did you see them at the weekend?

          • Milesey 5 years ago

Orient where nothing spectacular, they got a quick goal and that was about it for the whole game, we brought on our forwards who didn’t do anything so the substitutions didn’t work for us.

Swindon have 13 fit players tonight, di canio doesn”t know how he is going to make up much of a bench, had to sell one of their best players just to get some money into the club.

Milesey, OK I’ll a look into Orient v Southend. Read all about Swindon’s problems and I’d imagine they’re worth backing against tonight although sometimes in adversity teams do well. Di Canio is mega pissed off and could walk away at any time.

              • Milesey 5 years ago

Colchester Utd are just starting to pick up again aswell, they have a great squad, and should be right near the top of the table.

Milesey, I had Colchester at the weekend but then Pompey should be backed against whoever they’re playing. I fancy Colchester big time but we’ll see how the price stands up.
