I DON'T often put Barcelona in my treble – they are usually too short – but are backable at a best 1-2 with William Hill and Blue Square at Valencia.
Real Madrid won 5-0 at the Mestalla in the La Liga recently and Barca have the firepower to blow them away if they so wish. That, in reality, was a freak result but when Lionel Messi is on form Barca can outscore anyone and you don't get 1-2 too often.
Real Sociedad are the only team to beat Barca this season and I'm on them to beat Mallorca at home. Sociedad's only defeat in seven was an unlucky 4-3 loss at Real Madrid and to net six in two matches against La Liga's giants is impressive.
Mallorca have lost on their last three visits to Sociedad and must fear the worst after three successive defeats and the loss of nine goals. You can have 3-4 with William Hill on a home win.
Complete the treble with Borussia Dortmund at Bayer Leverkusen. I'm hoping both score in this match but expect the champions to outscore their opponents.
Dortmund started the season slowly and that's why they trail leaders Bayern Munich by 15 points. However, they've won their last four, scoring 16 goals, and lookin good shape ahead of the forthcoming Champions League qualifiers. Back them at 6-5 with William Hill.
My Super Single could have been Morton at Dundee in the Scottish Cup but I like the look of surprise guys Rayo Vallecano away to struggling Sevilla in La Liga.
The 4-1 plus single landed yesterday thanks to overpriced Barnsley and Rayo are as big as 11-2 at BetVictor and Paddy Power.
Rayo have won five out of six to climb to sixth and are amazingly challenging for a Champions League place. Sevilla have won their last two home games convincingly but have lost three times at home and are stuck in mid-table.
Rayo have won two of their last three away games – at Bilbao and Valencia – and for me the 11-2 is too big. However, at the price you can consider Rayo at 13-8 with Stan James.

Craig, he doesn’t do doubles! At the end of the day that’s the game but there is no guarantee with Chris’s bets, they are quite speculative but profitable when they come in. I’ve backed players like Baines and Mulgrew, good strikers of the ball, regularly over the past couple of seasons but I’d never put £200 on any first or last scorer, possibly not even an anytime scorer, because of the nature of the market. With Chris it’s win or bust and if he doesn’t hit one early in the contest he could be out.
