LAST WEEK was a sore one with both trebles a goal away from landing so I'm hoping for better luck today and first stop is Portugal.
Braga have had a busy week with Europa League and domestic action and those two games ended in high-scoring draws.
Their last four matches in all competitions have seen both teams score and tonight they're at the side just one spot below them in the table, fifth-placed Arouca.
The hosts have won three on the bounce, including a fine victory at Porto, and should be able to breach the Braga defence so btts looks decent at 19-20 with 10bet.
I'm adding French strugglers Troyes at home to Lorient who have netted in 11 of their 12 away Ligue 1 fixtures. Troyes prop up the standings but have scored four in two games and can get some joy against a Lorient defence that has kept one clean sheet in the last eight outings. Complete the treble with Vallecano's trip to Betis in La Liga. Four of Betis's last five games have brought up btts and Vallecano's refreshing attacking philosophy has led to goals at both ends in all of their last seven away days.
In the Bundesliga, I fancy Stuttgart (4-7, William Hill) to inflict a ninth straight defeat on bottom club Hannover and Bayern Munich (7-15, marathonbet) should be too strong for Wolfsburg whose first-choice keeper is out injured.
Bayern were breathtaking for an hour of their 2-2 draw with Juventus in midweek and despite being threadbare at the back they have the firepower to sink a Wolfsburg side they've beaten in eight of the last nine Bundesliga meetings.
Finally, in Serie A, Milan are on the up under Sinisa Mihajlovic and haven't lost to Torino in 16 meetings. Torino's recent form is patchy – one win in seven – while Milan are unbeaten in eight, winning four, and can edge this one at 5-6 with William Hill.
