IT'S been a pretty good week on the site and an even better one for readers of my Daily Record column.
Online it's been profitable for the Super Singles and accumulators and in the paper I've had six Super Single winners in a row. All have been flagged up on the site – but not marked as Super Singles.
Yesterday my pick was Leigh Griffiths to score first for Celtic at 9-4 but the Hoops were on the only advised tip I put – so it was 1pt lost on the treble.
Today I'm hoping to emulate last Saturday's success when I landed a 19-1 homes fivefold, 23-10 Top Treble and 21-20 Super Single.

Warrenpoint v Crusaders
Warrenpoint have proven to be a little gem for me in recent weeks bringing in 3/4 great odds value picks only failure being a game they dominated completely but hit everything bar the back of the net 2 games back and im not going to Concede yet even against by far the leagues best team in a bet that bucks the trends and the bookmakers thoughts.
Condeding just once in their last six Premiership games Warrenpoint are proving very hard to break down but they will face their stiffest test yet on Saturday when Crusaders head to Milltown. Stephen Baxter’s team sit seven points clear at the top of the league but they will be without defender Billy Joe Burns after his dismissal in their 1-0 in against Cliftonville last weekend.
Crusaders offer very little value at odds of 1/3 for a win and going against stats in recent meetings and the thinking of the bookmaker i think Warrenpoint could give a decent showing in what could be a very tight game.Warrenpoint have a clean sheet to show in 5/6 lg games,havent conceded more than a single goal in any match from last 10 games all comps,under 2.5 mgs has come in 7 of those 10 games and lost have lost just once last 9 lg games.
Crusaders are understandable favourites given they have lost just once from last 13 aways winning 9 but ive noted their last 4 lg games have also brought in under 2.5 mgs plus they have scored no more than 1 goal in 3 of those games.
Under 2.5 mgs a market i usually avoid but is available @ 13/10 and appeals given the recent fighting spirit of this Warrenpoint team, i might have a very small nibble at the Warrenpoint win/draw double chance market @ 15/8 paddypower as ive a feeling it may just end all even in this 1. Heres hoping.
Linfield v Glenavon
Second placed Linfield host fourth-placed Glenavon who will be without top goalscorer Eoin Bradley who has been banned for seven matches.
Both lg meetings this season have sereved up goal scoring crackersin a 3-2 win for mid ulster Glenavon and a 4-3 win for Belfast side Linfield both winning when at home,i see no reason to buck the trend in this 1 and will opt for a Linfield victory @ 10/11 most firms given the blues have won 8/10 lg games,showed great spirit coming from 2 down against Coleraine last game to win and with the high flying Glentoran missing top scorer Bradley i see Linfield edging another thriller.
6/8 Linfield lg games have gone over 2.5 as has 4/6 Glenavon games over 2.5 mgs is available @ 8/15 and is worth adding to any lines but i may take a nibble at the Linfield win/over 2.5 market @ odds around 8/5 .

I definitely think there is value in Swindon today. I was very tempted to take them to win at 10/3 but with them only winning 5 of 16 away games this season I’m going to take them to score over 1.5 at 13/8. Their last 2 games have seen them score a total of 7 goals and with Peterborough conceding 9 in their last 3 there should be goals for them again.
sam c, looked at Swindon but Peterborough are better than their results suggest so goals the bet for me.

Interesting additions to both sides recently. Evergrande have brought in jackson martinez from a madrid whilst jiangsu have brought in ramires from chelsea and teixera from shak don. With this being a super cup and seeing the quality in new signings i can see goals in this so am on both to scorer and over 2.5 goals at 2.20. Not putting much on this as both sides may be a little rusty.
Am leaving the j league games today for the very same reason. 1st games after a break are always going to be a lottery.

Been doing a treble for a while now involving my team (Blackpool) and our nearest and dearest rivals (Preston and Fleetwood).
Small stakes advised but this weekend I am going for (All prices William Hill):
Cardiff v Preston – Draw (11 / 5). Preston are one of the form teams in the division, hard to beat, hard to break down. Cardiff haven’t been doing too bad either but have drawn three of the last six. Another draw seems on the cards today.
Blackpool v Bradford – BTTS (11 / 10). Blackpool’s last 3 games have seen a pair of 3-2 defeats with a goalless draw in between. Bradford hit 4 against Peterborough on their last away trip and with play-off ambitions will fancy their chances. A few ex-Seasiders are likely to start for Bradford (Stephen Davies, Billy Clarke, Tony McMahon). Separately, Blackpool and Bradford are usually good candidates for unders. The last time I had us as unders at home we were 3-0 down after 29 minutes! Am going for BTTS for today.
Coventry v Fleetwood – Coventry over 1.5 team goals (21 / 20). Fleetwood don’t travel well and although they’ve drawn four of their last six away games, they face a Coventry side who hit 6 in their last home fixture and looked like they’d rediscovered their early season goalscoring touch. A convincing home win against the relegation-threatened Cods won’t harm Coventry’s automatic promotion ambitions, and I can see them putting two past their visitors today.

It’s Germany, but, unlike the Bundesliga it feeds into, this is a league that’s fairly conservative for Overs. 44% Over to 56% Under so far this season. However, that’s why we get better odds for team stats that might offer us something far heavier odds-on played in, say, the Dutch second tier next door.
Freiburg are the top home side for Overs, Freiburg are fourth best away side for Overs. 18 teams in the league.
Any match offering both home and away averaging over a goal scored and conceded in every game is worth a second look, and when both sides are averaging over 3 goals a game total, and the home team is strong and averaging over 4, and has a 10/1 O/U home record, an odds-against quote has to be seriously appealing.

Wolves v Derby.
From the point of view of a wolves fan.
You have to fancy Derby here. We are absolutely dire in all honesty. There are issues at board level and that tends to reflect down to the pitch.
I’m personally not backing the game to any great level other Han to feature o1.5mgs in an accumulator.
The one caveat if put down is that we have a tendency to play up to games where we feel we are destined to lose.
A recent Form test is Derby beating Brentford 3-1 and Brentford beating us 3-0.
I certainly wouldn’t touch the WDW market. I’d say Derby are guaranteed to score against us but the question is how many?
Wolves though could very well score though.

Frampton v Quigg…
Frampton is good – very good. In my opinion, the best Irish boxer since McGuigan. He’s technically gifted and is able to put together combinations I’ve rarely seen.
What Scott Quigg may lack in technical terms, he more than makes up in speed,power and heart.
I’ll be honest, Quigg is a Bury lad and yes – I’m biased but what a match-up tonight. Think we’ll see one of the best fights in years.
Scott just doesn’t know how to lose and there’s every chance his power and body work (have a look if you can at previous fights…scary) will crumple Frampton.
I’m having a big go at Quigg to score a knock-down at 13/8 (NB)
His power punches ( for the weight) are just immense and if one or two land early, it could be a brutal fight with the bigger lad winning.
