FOR the second day running Johnb’s picks placed but didn’t win. That’s not what the great man wants but at 5-1 and 3-1 – when posted – there is a decent profit there for each-way backers.

Johnb’s Wednesday selections pay 5-1 and 3-1 so again I’ll be on the each-way double.

Johnb’s Wednesday tips

Lingfield 4.05
Drive On 7-2 NB
Bet365, Ladbrokes

Kempton 5.25
Iffranesia 11-4 NAP
Bet365

Johnb says: “I am going to put up a third bet for Wednesday because odds just come out and I think this horse should be 6-4 and not 9-4.

Ludlow 3.45
Baltimore Rock 9-4
Bet365, BetVictor

There are Wednesday meetings at Lingfield, Kempton, Doncaster, Punchestown and Ludlow. Put your tips and thoughts here.

    DeAndre, today a fourfold? :)

  14. Sanj 4 years ago

Thank you Raaljaca, Mr F, Rale and others. I was just very very lucky yesterday

    • raaljaca 4 years ago

Sanj, takes a wee bit more than luck to choose a horse like that, very humble of you. Well done mate and keep them coming.

  15. DeAndre 4 years ago

Yeah I was just gonna do the first 3 but the Clips are too good to leave out!

    • raaljaca 4 years ago

DeAndre, you need to leave a ‘back soon’ post mate, plenty people waiting for your NBA tips all day!!!

  16. Scuzzle 4 years ago

The jockey rode Baltimore Rock far too freely last time like he fully expected it to win easily so I’m happy to back it again as connections must think this is a good horse.

  17. misafir 4 years ago

DeAndre would you play player performance as singles? Are the stats of it so good like the money-line-bets?

  18. cobramint 4 years ago

Thanks John, all getting very well backed. Got a £10 paitent on at good early prices…..here’s hoping!

  19. DeAndre 4 years ago

Hahaha, workin mate, only chance I get on here is if I get a tea break! Misafir I’ve just done the treble, but if you prefer to do singles then batter on :-)

  20. DeAndre 4 years ago

Oh I also do a bit more on the money line than the player per. just coz’ 😀

  21. steadyeddy 4 years ago

Johnb already earnt us some money with the best early prices, 2 of them should win. Also DeAndre which site do you use, will hill wrapped your NBA shot up at 6/1

  22. DeAndre 4 years ago

Steady eddy, I’m on Patrick Power 😉

    • dave 4 years ago

don’t know if you are on sportingbet De Andre

they refund losing stakes on fourfolds if you get 3 correct

not a bad bet if you ask me

  23. Stueyd 4 years ago

Woohoo NBA is back! Will be on your four fold DeAndre. I will also put mine up

    Grizzlies
    Pacers
    Clippers
    Pistons

All on the money line and returns 3.5.

    Good luck all

  24. Jamesb 4 years ago

DeAndre if you were to only choose one of them as a super single which would it be?

    Thanks.

Your NBA insight is a great help to us all.

  25. Bob H 4 years ago

Tipping short-prices e/w is the winning formula 😉

    • raaljaca 4 years ago

Bob, why bother coming on here with a pointless opinion. You never tip but criticise the guys that do. Does having no friends not tell you something? You lead a sad worthless life and blame it on everybody else!! Guys on here land decent winning bets day after day, I made more today than you earn in a month you sad tosser :)

  26. honda 4 years ago

    Stuey, DeAndre, many thanks :)

  27. cooldude 4 years ago

Bob just listen to yourself. you come on here and make a mockery of peoples opinions on bets, whilst offering none yourself. dont rile further or I will get personal and abusive

    • raaljaca 4 years ago

Dudes, he aint worth it mate. He once asked me to stop posting racing stuff on the footy thread!!! I would imagine his wife is the boss in Chateau Bob and he uses this to try to pretend he is a real man :)

  28. raaljaca 4 years ago

What is there to agree with? You make snide little comments regarding other guys posts yet never post anything constructive. I would welcome a tip or two from you to see how they stand up but don’t believe you can tip Bobby boy you prefer to make your sneaky remarks. I dont like you and never have or will so just disappear and do the world a favour.

    • Ian Conway 4 years ago

      raaljaca,
Don’t know if bob is a troll or not,but if he is,you are falling into his trap and feeding his sad attention seeking, just concentrate on your many excellent contributions and ignore the trolls.

    • raaljaca 4 years ago

Davie I say wife but it is more of a Norman Bates Mother type person if you see what I mean!! :)

  30. abbas 4 years ago

All it is bob, negativity is not needed, we all have jobs and family’s and take time to try study and give our top oppinions about races and to be honest weather win or lose, small profit, big profit I’d like to think we can all support each other and respect each other and tbh yoir comments are not very respectable to this thread.

    • raaljaca 4 years ago

Spot on abbas, just some do not appreciate the positives we can take from this type of hobby mate.

  31. honda 4 years ago

Always beef on the racing thread, why do all the bell ends end up here? Also just realized I missed the baltimore rock tip :( buna!

  32. A BLACK 4 years ago

Poor day Tuesday as a 3rd & Unplaced takes Running Profit/Loss for month down to £10.90

    Wednesday’s picks:
    2.00 Lingfield – Gung Ho Jack 5/1 BET365 (Nap)
Price seems too good to be true for a horse of this calibre amidst company. Down to lay-off, but I’m overlooking that

    4.35 Lingfield – Maxie T 4/1 (NB)
3YR old from Mark Johnstone’s yard being turned around after burst of poor form, just what he specialises in

  33. raaljaca 4 years ago

Right good night lads see you all bright and early tomorrow for the first instalment of Hockey Day 😉

  34. steadyeddy 4 years ago

Great words Abbas echoed by me and no doubt the majority here

  35. DeAndre 4 years ago

Wizards and Magic should win but definitely not bankers 😀 couldn’t really choose one as a super single as all are odds on!

  36. Sol 4 years ago

What is your hockey tips Raal? Sorry if I’ve already missed them

    • raaljaca 4 years ago

Sol, put these up last night mate.

      ICE HOCKEY.

12.30 WED FINLAND TO BEAT RUSSIA (DRAW NO BET) (8/5 Bet365) (31/20 Ladbrokes)

Looked at SLOVENIA on the handicap against SWEDEN but not to confident as it is only +1.5 at 14/5. Anyone who could get +2.5 at maybe 7/4 or 2/1 should have a small stakes bet. Sweden are 1/100 in places to win but may not run riot in the game.

  37. Sanj 4 years ago

3.55 Doncaster Shakalakaboomboom. 9/1 good luck

  38. Sol 4 years ago

DeAndre, I’ve gone with Miami as a super single although it is odds on

  39. Yung Kingz 4 years ago

W P Mulllins has 3 horses at Punchestown tomorrow and 2 of them are in the same race:

    14:35 – Bless N’ject (R Walsh)

    15:10 – Upsie (R Walsh)
    Urticaire (B J Cooper)

Looking at a Bless N’ject and Upsie double e/w possibly, or may just stick with Upsie. Not decided as of yet.

  40. DeAndre 4 years ago

Yeah I said a couple days ago or maybe yesterday I’m not sure but I think they’ll turn it on during the home stretch and earn home court advantage come playoff time.

  41. Azzurri06 4 years ago

    Raal, Honda,

Can I ask a silly question?
What’s the best way to back Johnb’s Nap and Nb today?
Back each as e/w singles and then as a double too?
    Or just a double e/w?

    Thanks!

    • Lyn 4 years ago

Back the first to go and a double,
if the first wins you are on for the double,
if the first loses back the second to go and increase your stake to cover the first loss

  42. PaulG 4 years ago

    Azzurri06…

Can’t speak for others but have found a good way is to back johnb’s selections to place, both in individual bets and in a double.

Won’t get as high a return but you will get returns more often.

    Good luck.

  43. Bertie 4 years ago

Thanks for tomorrow’s tips johnb there are being smashed up already like Baltimore rock a conditional jockey rode last time out but tom scudamore is back in the saddle tomorrow will be a major plus good luck !

  44. LEE G 4 years ago

Good luck for tomorrow guys and girls x

  45. Scotland73 4 years ago

Selection 1: Upsie, Win, 3.10 Punchestown
Selection 2: Baltimore Rock, Win, 3.45 Ludlow
Selection 3: Drinkuptrig, Win, 3.05 Lingfield
Selection 4: Narborough, Win, 3.35 Lingfield
Selection 5: Pearl Castle, Win, 2.50 Doncaster
Selection 6: Palypso De Creek, Win, 4.25 Doncaster

Ive done a e/w heinz on these tomorrow, as well as three singles and a treble on John B’s picks.

Thanks for all your efforts boys – this girls piggy bankie is plump! ;o)

  46. steadyeddy 4 years ago

    Unlucky DeAndre, that’s sport!

  47. slasherjack 4 years ago

Azzurri06 they are not e/w prices so why not do the 3 in a win patent (7 bets) or a trixie (4 bets).

  48. DeAndre 4 years ago

Still trying to understand how the Parker-less Spirs just beat the Clips! Atleast the player performance softened the blow (not really, it hurts) 😀 Nice overs/unders treble Rusty…still though the f**king Spurs!? Haha 😉

    • swany 4 years ago

Cheers DeAndre another earn whilst you sleep success!

      thanks buddy.

    • Rustychest 4 years ago

DeAndre, nice job on the Player Performances treble again :)

I was concerned that they would and The Wizards did let down my Point Spread treble but thanks to the Game Totals treble, a profit was turned over at even stakes. Usually, I play the lowest over and the highest under with my game totals picks, but I took a closer shot at what I thought the overall results would be and it paid off.

It’s nice to see the NBA back and filling punters sports balances. There is a great choice of games today and I can’t wait to dig right in.

  49. boz 4 years ago

Great site ty guys but got be honest these tips are not ew prices john himself has not put ew next to his selections I am not calling anyone and am sure john himself would say these are not ew priced horses. I appreciate the tips and have faith in john but they are not ew prices

    • Profile photo of Mr Fixit Author
      Mr Fixit 4 years ago

boz, it’s up to an individual’s preference whether they back ew or not. I know plenty of people who back short prices ew because it can limit the damage if the horse doesn’t win but is placed.

  50. boz 4 years ago

first thanks guys for tips and info never bothered
tipping myself before but 2 I really fancy today

  51. Stueyd 4 years ago

Yeah can’t believe the Clippers didn’t do it although the Pistons also let me down. Well done on the player performance and a nice over and unders from Rusty.

Sure we will hit the next ones!

  52. Tom 4 years ago

John, do you keep a record of all the horses you’ve backed and the prices you got them at going back to at least new year preferably longer? I think it’d be interesting and beneficial to work out the best way to split your stake between the 2 singles and double, thanks

    • Profile photo of Mr Fixit Author
      Mr Fixit 4 years ago

Tom, it’s a lot to ask for. Flick through past posts and you’ll get an idea. Best way to back them in my experience is as early as possible.

      • Tom 4 years ago

Yeah, I read in a previous thread that people backing to £10 level stakes in January would have made around £1800 (Might be wrong), guessing that was £10 on each single and a £10 double. Was just wondering what the difference would be if it was say £5 singles and a £20 double, it could be just pennies or it could be a lot more.

  53. steadyeddy 4 years ago

Haha DeAndre you’ll be back, they just couldn’t pin them back

Chappers it would be utter madness to back a 6/5 ew

      • raaljaca 4 years ago

A lot of professional gamblers will back each way on a small odds horse simply because if it is virtually guaranteed to make the frame then they have a safety net for recouping part of their stake if it does not win.

Chappers – What’s the reason for the e/w bet? My understanding is that if the horse places (2nd or 3rd) ur returns will be £4.40, a loss of £5.60! Why not just put £5 on the nose. Cheers!

NB Harvest Mist 7/2 2.00 Lingfield
A word on one in 4.15 Ludlow Take the mick 7/2 Nb2

  75. alanm 4 years ago

Napping a Venetia Williams trained horse at the moment doesn’t take a huge amount of foresight or reading between the lines, and while generally the bookies are understandably wary of anything she runs, a winner is a winner. Despite being favourite in most of the early price lists for Ludlow’s 4.15 on Wednesday, Take The Mick looked big at the opening show of 7/2 at bet365 and was quickly cut to 3/1.

All nine of his races have suggested that 3m, soft ground and fences will see him in his best light. Tomorrow is the first time he gets all these factors in his favour, and Venetia has managed to get him in a very winnable 0-105 conditional jockeys’ handicap off a rating of 101.

He has two further entries at staying trips in the next five days, where he would of course appear without a penalty if he won at the Shropshire track. It bears uncanny resemblance to last year’s winner of this race, Jupiter Rex, who took this as the third leg of an amazing seven race winning streak for the very same trainer.

The son of Ishiguru’s chasing debut came at Ludlow a month ago, where he was continually inconvenienced by the errant left-handed jumping of favourite Bincombe. No sooner had he begun to get the better of that tussle, than handicap snip of the season so far, Evan Williams’ Buywise sweeped past to win by an eased down seven lengths. Buywise has won twice since, latterly off a mark of 120 as opposed to 102 when beating Take The Mick, and strongly suggested he could defy a rise again.

Next time, he was sent off an incredibly well backed 13/8 favourite at Doncaster despite a drop in trip and a switch to better ground. Both off which would have been against him, and yet he nearly defied these negative factors.

Those two runs signified to me that Venetia had yet another well handicapped horse on her hands – a 6lb rise shouldn’t stop him – and he could well run up a Jupiter Rex-style sequence, beginning with the Ludlow 4.15.

A £100 win treble at 5/4, 6/4 and 5/2 with 2 winners returns nothing. A £50 each way treble at these odds with 2 winners and a place returns a profit of around £20-£40. Anybody who thinks backing each way at small odds is daft should actually learn to count first.

    • slasherjack 4 years ago

BUt back a single at a very small price ew is in my opinion. Racing is all about opinions though.

    • Stealth 4 years ago

  82. RickyR 4 years ago

I think the main consideration on EW is – do you half your stake, or do you double it.

    • raaljaca 4 years ago

Ricky, you half it mate, split it between the bet.

  83. raaljaca 4 years ago

If you back Johnb’s 3 selections today in a treble of £50 each way and all three reach the frame without winning your £100 stake will return around £126 so anyone who thinks backing each way is daft needs to think again!!!!

    • slasherjack 4 years ago

Say one wins and the other is placed then the equally divided comes into it or not if you havent done it.

      • raaljaca 4 years ago

Slasher, if any don’t win but are placed it gives a profit mate. Backing each way with horses you think are guaranteed to place will make you a profit in trebles upwards.

Tom yeah those figures were right but that was for £20 on Nap, £10 on all other singles & £10 on Nap & Nb double which would have been £1753 profit

    january
    Nap 22.6 point profit
    All bets 71.8 point profit
    double 81 point profit

i think last year Hugh Taylor from at the races had a 250 point profit for the year
my singles for just one month were just under 72 points & my worst year was still just under 500 point profit for the year

so far this year my singles are on a 81.5 point profit

    • Tom 4 years ago

Thanks for the reply. So you’re betting 1 point on the Nb and double and 2 points on the Nap? Doubles have the higher points profit so wouldn’t it make more sense to stake more on that and less on the others?

      • Profile photo of Mr Fixit Author
        Mr Fixit 4 years ago

Tom, Johnb always suggests 2pts on nap and 1pt on NB. Backing the double is riskier so no it wouldn’t make sense to stake more on that. If anything the double should be for half a point for example.

        • Tom 4 years ago

It just seems as though, if those numbers are consistent year round, the reward would be greater than the risk in this case. Although you’re probably right. Also John, do you have any info on how February is going?

  100. Chappers 4 years ago

In answer to the earlier questions about my ew on short odds. I only ever back horses ew as it reduces the risk should one have a bad day. With John’s brilliant tips a good number of horses win outright anyway, so it’s a long term way of building profit and reducing risk.

    double 1.7 point profit

like i said its not great but if bad months still make a profit its still not bad

    • Tom 4 years ago

Not bad at all lol, not many people can have a bad month and not lose any money. Are all those bets straight win bets or were some of them each way?

************** EACH WAY EQUALLY DIVIDED ***************

    Raaljaca, in your example above….

A £100 win treble at 5/4, 6/4 and 5/2 with 2 winners returns nothing. A £50 each way treble at these odds with 2 winners and a place returns a profit of around £20-£40. Anybody who thinks backing each way at small odds is daft should actually learn to count first.

An EACH WAY EQUALLY DIVIDED bet would return,

    5/2 Placed @1/5 odds £249.38
    6/4 Placed @1/5 odds £284.38
    5/4 Placed @1/5 odds £296.88

    ************EACH WAY EQUALLY DIVIDED***********

    The way to go.

The Each Way Equally Divided Method Explained

Each Way Equally Divided is a way of getting round the problem of what happens when one of your selections wins, but the other one only places.

With Equally Divided the return is calculated after each leg of your multiple bet and that return is then re-invested in the next leg.

Basically you are playing the double in a different way based on the feeling that one of the two horses will win and maybe the other will only place.

Usually a place result on the first horse means that there is no win stake on the second horse. However via the each way equally divided method any RETURNS from the first horse are split 50/50 on the second horse.

So say we had a 5/4 place followed by a 6/1 winner. Under the normal EW double method you would in effect just have a place double which for a £25 EW stake would return £68.75

However placed the equally divided way, this bet would have been played like this (via internet is OK as 2 EW singles) 25 EW on 5/4 shot placed would return 31.25 The return is then split 50/50 so £15.61 EW on the 2nd horse which wins @ 6/1 So the final return would now be £143.61

Each way equally divided is NOT the bet to have when two horses both have a good chance of winning, however it comes into its own when the first horse is a decent price and places so that the second selection has win money applied and in certain circumstances where you don’t expect both of your selections to win.

If playing an each way double the equally divided way online, then you would place the double as two separate each way singles and calculate the stake for the second leg of the double after the result of the first leg.

If placing the bet in a traditional bookmakers shop then you must write on the betting slip when you place the bet that the bet is to be played equally divided.

    Hope that’s all clear.

  110. luke a 4 years ago

I may be wrong, but I think the point someone made earlier about backing short odds each way, was in regards to backing a short odds single each way. For example, 6/5 baltimore rock. Why would you back this each way? The returns if it only places are small to say the least.

  159. alanm 4 years ago

    Another heads up
The weekend’s two big betting races are the BetBright Chase at Kempton Park (formerly the Racing Post Chase), and the Betfred Eider at Newcastle – always one of the most gruelling races in the calendar.

The BetBright Chase has a nice shape to it, as there are a whole host of horses who aren’t confirmed stayers at the 3m trip, and while common thought is that if you are going to see out 3m anywhere then Kempton is the place, that is plain wrong. Being a speed favouring track ensures races are generally run at half a stride faster than elsewhere, and so come the end of races, stamina is always the deciding factor.

Two who stand out as having the requisite stamina and speed, and are also well handicapped, are Planet Of Sound and Tour Des Champs. Though much depends on what the weather does this week, and I would love to be recommending them at 11/1 and 20/1 respectively, but the first mentioned wants it drier, while Tour Des Champs would need it very soft – so best to hold fire for now.

Up at Gosforth Park, the Eider winner will still need to be galloping at the end of 4m 1f in what will be incredibly testing, sticky, drying ground. Two stand out at current odds as being ideal types. Jonjo O’Neill’s Smoking Aces and Tim Vaughan’s Our Island both possess limitless stamina, and have proven on many occasions that this dour slog will suit.

Smoking Aces was still galloping on stronger than anything behind Emperor’s Choice in the West Wales National, when beaten 8½ lengths into third, and the extra 5f here will be perfect.

While Our Island was a strong fancy for last year’s race before being snowed off, and finds himself 8lbs lower in the handicap this time around, (though if Junior runs, he will be 2lbs out of the handicap.) He has only been faced with 4m+ on heavy ground once, when sent off favourite for the Devon Marathon in December 2012. That looked strong form at the time, as Our Island and winner Arbor Supreme went on to finish fourth and fifth in the Welsh National a month later.

It wouldn’t surprise were punters to latch on to either nearer the day, so taking 8/1 and 10/1
Betfred Eider Chase (Newcastle – Saturday):
    Smoking Aces – 8/1 (bet365)
    Our Island – 10/1 (bet365)

Johnb you legend! Took a bit of a risk today, and put your tips into a trixe. It paid off, and more than doubled my stakes so really happy!

  186. DeAndre 4 years ago

Great day john well done on the top tips.
    Top man

  189. PeteT 4 years ago

Iffranesia does the business again. 2 winners from 3 is excellent, especially when you consider the 2nd place was really down to a bad ride (so the horse can’t be written off).

Well done Johnb and thanks as always.

  190. Eclezias 4 years ago

Johnb- God of Horse racing, I dont know but Certainly the BEST horse racing tipster right now…

  194. Bet Your Bottom Dollar 4 years ago

    Cheers John.

Lost faith in horses but backed this one as it was part of the famed treble last Friday.

  195. macca the red 4 years ago

    cracking call johnb thanks mate!!

  196. luke a 4 years ago

I’m with you Rale. I had 2 singles, 1 on drive on, 1 on iffranesia. Then I had them in a double. On top of this I had a trixie with those 2 and baltimore rock. I staked total of £40 and it returned £62. 50% profit is good, but if only George downing gave drive on a chance, I’d be looking at over £300 back.
I had a great feeling about your 3 today Johnb, and if it wasn’t for the jockey, it would’ve been amazing. But still, amazing tipping!!

  197. Duncan Poundcake 4 years ago

returned 11/4 thats the value of BOG
    GREAT STUFF JOHNB

  198. Bet Your Bottom Dollar 4 years ago

Lovin the bet365 ‘Best Odds Applied’.

    How does that work?

Took it at 3.00 , paid me at 3.75 !

  199. craigdon 4 years ago

JB, absolute ledgend. I’ve been having a break from the horses (well about 3 days) but through last night that you would be due a big turn. So glad I got back on the JB Money train and so close to a fortune today too. Chooo chooo!!

  200. cobramint 4 years ago

Great stuff again johnb! If it wasn’t for a shocker by Downing we would be taking about great patients, trebles and doubles. Still a good profit for me tho. Thank-you.

  201. abbas 4 years ago

Well done johnb thanks for selections today and thanks every1 else, well done lads

  202. Stueyd 4 years ago

Ok here are my NBA tips for tonight all on the money line

    Warriors
    Suns
    Rockets
    Trailblazers

    Pays 3.54/1

    Good luck

  203. przemm 4 years ago

Can any of you guys tell me why the he** my ew fourfold was paid at 2.28 which is just above evens and I had 3 wins and one second place?

  204. honda 4 years ago

Cheers stuey n deandre, lots of luck

  205. Cookie Monster 4 years ago

Przemm the entire bet counts as ew if they don’t all win I believe

  206. cheese 4 years ago

Deandre – what would your treble be from those? Cheers.

  207. johnb 4 years ago

Still disapointed with 2 winners lol
Upset because we didn’t get a run with Drive On but if people money thats what counts
    well done everyone

  208. steadyeddy 4 years ago

Stick with him lads the man will always get you a long term profit! Great day with the horses, ice hockey and I think DeAndre will round it off with some overnight nba tips. Great work

  209. MrT 4 years ago

    Thanks again JohnB!

  210. przemm 4 years ago

My total stake was 2 EUR, so I played it safe but the estimated return for 4 winners was around 56 EUR. One was second and my return was 4.55 EUR. I don’t understand that…

  211. ticketyboo 4 years ago

@ presem when 1 of your selections got beat the win part of your acca was beat so you are only left with the place bet for the 4 teams so the return is correct mate.

  212. Neil 4 years ago

Johnb, I notice that both Cat O’mountain and Certify are running at Meydan tomorrow. Will these be NAP’s or Nb’s for tomorrow. What are their chances?

  213. johnb 4 years ago

Sorry tomorrows will be up soon

  214. Donny 4 years ago

6.25 kempton the young master – 7/2. And same race shalambar EW – 5-1

  215. Scotland73 4 years ago

Good day for me. Made 6 selections on a Heinz bet we and 5 were winners. Tssssk! Cheers John B, nice selections also. ;0)

  216. DeAndre 4 years ago

Cheese, if you held a gun to my head and made me drop one…probably Portland or Toronto, no wait maybe Phoenix…I don’t know just shoot me 😀

  217. przemm 4 years ago

Tickety, so if I have an ew accumulator I win the same amount when I have 3 winners and one placed and if all 4 are placed?

  218. Cookie Monster 4 years ago

Prezemm yes you would have the same payout for 4 3nd places

  219. Denman 4 years ago

Well done Johnb and all his followers.

As I tried to introduce you to an ********* EACH WAY EQUALLY DIVIDED ********** way of betting hope some of you were able to maximise your returns.

An ********* EACH WAY EQUALLY DIVIDED **********
£25 treble would have returned £153.57

    A £25 Each Way treble returns £61.46.

    Calculated to S.P.

    £92.11 MORE

    • Davie-S 4 years ago

Very interesting Denman, worth looking into does sound a bit complicated and would take time to get used to whether one should or shouldn’t use the system.. By the way my surname is the name of a famous horse, and no it’s not Davie Shergar..

  220. DeAndre 4 years ago

It’s nice to wake up with all your GG money for free!!!

  221. Davie-S 4 years ago

Well done on the double JB, wasn’t on today as i missed the prices and felt i had lost already, silly i know, just the way i seen it..

I’ve napped 7 horses in the naps competition and had seven losers, so god only knows how you get winners so consistently, though only ever napped 1 on the racing thread and it won at 4/1, so i do have a %100 record on both…

  222. DannyBoy 4 years ago

can anybody advise me how to split my daily stake on john b’s tips please?
say I stake £20 a day, how would everybody split that between john B’s Nap, NB and Double?

    • honda 4 years ago

10 on Nap, 5 on NB and 5 on each way double :)

  223. Big Dubz 4 years ago

    Danny
If it was me I would do
    £10 on nap
    £5 on nb
    £2.50 e/ w double

  224. DeAndre 4 years ago

Why not £9 NAP, £7 NB, £4 Double.

  225. Donny 4 years ago

    Shalambar!!!!

  226. DannyBoy 4 years ago

thanks Honda and Dubz. Just trying to figure out how to maximise profit from john b’s tips.
Excellent day today, thanks john B

  227. Big Dubz 4 years ago

    Why not indeed.

  228. Davie-S 4 years ago

I was always told to put more on the double than the two singles..

  229. DannyBoy 4 years ago

would most of you e/w on the double?

  230. raaljaca 4 years ago

Johnb, sheer class yet again mate. Only a poor ride beat a fantastic treble. Keep them coming mate.

  231. Denman 4 years ago

Online just bet them all as each way SINGLES.

Split any winnings Equally onto the next selection.

    Easy.

  232. eddy w 4 years ago

Was on iffranesia good tip johnb. Had major crispies napped last night @8-1 ogaritmo 2nd8-1 waiting on firmdecisions 7.25 was course winner over 7 just feel 6 could suit brother to 6f winner

  233. DeAndre 4 years ago

If EW, then £8 NAP, £6 NB and £3 EW Double. That makes £20 right? 😀

  234. Davie-S 4 years ago

Would it not make sense dependent on prices place the amount to at least get your money back on the singles and what’s leftover on the double…

  235. DannyBoy 4 years ago

anyone on the 6:55 at Kempton?

  236. Duncan Poundcake 4 years ago

    opus e/w

  237. DannyBoy 4 years ago

interesting to see how everyone has different views to how to split stakes. I can see why lumping more on the double is very profitable but it only happens a few times a month, compared to how frequent the nap and nb win

  238. Cantona 4 years ago

I change stakes depending on odds. £12-14 on nap £5-7 on nb. £1-2 double.

  239. eddy w 4 years ago

I always like e.w patent 3singles 3 doubles treble same level stakes that way even if only one or two get place u dont have much loss a lot of folk could do same with johnb if he tips 3

  240. Lloyd 4 years ago
