WE all knew it was going to be a tough day and that's how it turned out.
Millwall's late winner against Leicester landed me one Super Single at 21-10 after Burnley early on had beaten the Top Treble and homes with an inexplicable FA Cup loss at home to non-league Lincoln.
My other SS was Mansfield to score 2+ and the less said about that the better and while some of my accumulators were close none were winners.
So February's not been a good month in the way January was but there's still time to turn it around and that's the aim. For the next week or so I'll be more cautious and more selective.
The fact Greg and Jordan struggled too emphasised it wasn't an easy day. Desmond had one winner out of three and as he was in midweek fell two goals short of a full house. Selectabet was a Norwich goal away from a big one as he put up two out of three on his goals bets and Scott was seriously unlucky with his Euro treble – for 70 minutes all it needed was a second Sporting goal that never came although the bet could have been covered
Sunday sees more FA Cup action with Fulham v Spurs and Blackburn v Man United. Fulham could be the latest to spring a shock if Spurs are weakened while Man Utd should be too good for Rovers.
In Scotland I like Aberdeen at Killie but they are a short price and Rangers should give Graeme Murty his second win in charge at Dundee. Also there is the second Challenge Cup semi-final between St Mirren and TNS and while it's tough to call there should be goals.
On the Continent games include Roma v Torino, AC Milan v Fiorentina, Barcelona v Leganes and B M'gladbach v RB Leipzig.
For now I'm putting up two trebles. The Top Treble starts with Aberdeen who have won eight out if nine – the loss was to Celtic – and put on their best display of the season in beating Motherwell 7-2 in midweek. The Dons are short at about 1-2 but should win at managerless Kilmarnock and this season they've beaten 4-0 away and 5-1 at home.
Add Barcelona and over 2.5 match goals. Barca will be hurting after their 4-0 Champions League loss to PSG and that's bad news for poor Leganes who go to the Nou Camp having picked up five points in their last 36. It was 5-1 away to Barca and this should be a three-goal win at least.
Add Roma to score 2+ at home to Torino. Roma have a 100 per cent home record, scoring 32 in 11 and have netted 2+ in their last seven at home to the Turin outfit.
My goals treble starts in Italy with Pescara v Genoa. Pescara are going down so the appointment of Zdenek Zeman, who took them up before, is all about next season. He is known for attacking football and takes charge of a side whose last two defeats have been 6-2 and 5-3. Genoa should win this but best is both to score.
Add Cologne v Schalke which has gone over 2.5 goals in nine of the last 10 meetings and complete the treble with overs at PSG v Toulouse.
PSG will be on a high after their battering of Barcelona and it could have been 8-0. Toulouse have netted nine in three games since strengthening their attack and can contribute to a high-scoring contest.
No Super Single today with Spurs putting out a strong side at Fulham that includes Harry Kane and Dele Alli. Should win with that line-up.
But I'm adding two bets – one is big guns to score 2+ or 3+ and the other is a fivefold that will give moneyback from one wrong. Most bookies now offer this.

What happened in the sporting game? I had Scott’s treble but without the over 1.5 part and still waiting on it being settled on bet365
It finished 1-0 which was a shame.
Getting this one up nice and early as there is little else I fancy tomorrow.
Two sides at home that stick out are Roma and Basel. Basel welcome second bottom Lausanne, a side that average exactly two goals conceded per game this season. Following the return from the winter break, Basel have won 4-0 and 0-2, while Lausanne have conceded 6 in their two games. Basel are typically imperious at home and should win this one comfortably.
Roma host Torino off the back of a 0-4 thumping of Villareal on Thursday night. I had concerns that playing just a few days ago might have an impact on Roma tomorrow. However, a little research put my concerns at ease a bit. This season, in games that have been played on a Sunday following a Thursday EL game, Roma have picked up the following wins – 1-0, 3-2, 3-0, 4-1, 2-1 against Inter Milan… in fact, their only poor result came away to Fiorentina. Torino haven’t kept a clean sheet in 6 and usually see goals at either end on their travels. Last time out they let Pescara score 3 on home soil and, away from home, have only kept the poorer sides from scoring all season (Sassuolo, Crotone, Pescara being their only clean sheets). If Roma turn up, they should have enough to grab a couple and see off Torino.

Yesterday was a little bit of a mixed bag. I nailed both bets easily in game 1 (Phoenix v City); picked the wrong team for cards in the Sydney derby; but nailed goals for my main pick on the Glory match; albeit Castro didn’t score. Overall profit, and I’ll take it on what looks to have been a tough night for most.
Central Coast Mariners v Melbourne Victory:
Last game in round 20 of the A-League sees the Central Coast Mariners hosting Melbourne Victory. Mariners have had a good run of form of late, closing the gap on a top 6 position. They won’t be happy about Wanderers picking up a win over Sydney, but it is still only a 5 point gap from a finals berth, with 8 games to go. They do miss captain Montgomery today, but Faty returns from injury in a big boost for the side.
Victory have a full side, with Mahazi returning. Their form has been mixed, but certainly improved over the last couple of rounds. It is still possible for them to win the league and finish as premiers, but the reality is pretty unlikely, given Sydney have an 11 point lead, and have only lost a single game all season (in this round). This Victory side has goals in them, something which we should see today.
The loss of Nick Montgomery is significant, as not only is he a big presence for this Mariners side as captain, but he is a huge defensive stalwart, and without him, I suspect they will be punished. Victory themselves are never far away from conceding however, so both sides will likely leak goals in what I fancy to be another goal thriller. Add the fact that both squads have team mates formerly in eachother’s sides, and there should be a bit of extra huff and puff about this one from a cards perspective, meaning the chance of a penalty is higher than usual.
Lastly, I was going to play on Mariners to score before market, however noted that we are seeing higher odds for a goal from them in the 2nd half, which is my play.
Sidebar: for those who don’t follow the A-League. There are two trophies in a standard league. The team who finishes top at the end of the normal season are called the “premiers”. We then have a finals series for the top 6 and the winner of the grand final are called the “champions”. There’s a lot more prestige and money for the champions, but every team still wants to challenge for both trophies.
Tips:
Both teams to score & over 2.5 @ 1.83 (2PT)
Mariners – to score in 2nd half @ 2.0 (2PT)
Victory to score a penalty @ 5.5 (0.5PT)
Mariners to score a penalty @ 11 (0.5PT)
@hullshaker evening hope you and her indoors enjoyed the premiere of star wars the movie tonite…………. the second film is called the empire strikes back not as good as the first but no doubt be showing at a magic lantern theatre near you in the next few years………………..
???
Union Espanola v Deportes Temuco:
One quick one that I wanted to also jump on. Union Espanola are a solid side in the Chilean league, not that they’ve showed it in the opening two rounds. In fairness though, they played against top side Colo Colo in round 1, and away to a tough O’Higgins side, as well as be distracted with the Copa Libertadores. However now they are hosting poor Temuco, who are ravaged by injuries & suspensions.
Temuco lost in their opener to Universidad, but beat Huachipato at home. They are missing six key players coming into this fixture, with most of them being on the defensive end of their formation. So to say they have major problems coming into this match is an understatement. Even with some rotation likely for Union Espanola, I fancy them to put 2 goals past a Temuco side, likely to be able to barely scrape together a squad.
Tip:
Union Espanola – over 1.5 team goals @ 2.0 (2PT)
New Pescara coach is Zdenek Zeman (not Zemak) :-)
I know – it’s just a typo.
Heading over to Colombia for the second Night Owl and I’m sweet on this one…
MEDELLÍN VS. ONCE CALDAS (0100 KO):
In short, I fancy Medellin here and I fancy them to score a brace.
Tonight’s visitors have played 3 and are yet to register a goal whilst conceding 2 goals twice with their only point coming in a 0-0 draw at home to Tigres.
Conversely, Medellin have played 3 but have scored 2, 2 and 1 team goals whilst harvesting 7 points.
They also hold recent H2H bragging rights and have put 2 past Caldas 3 times within the last 10 months in 3 straight victories.
One selection:

Good Morning Guys
Bologna vs Inter Milan
After being embarrassed by Napoli and nine-man Milan, Roberto Donadoni’s men were desperately unlucky to lose at Sampdoria. However, three defeats in a row has seen them tumble down Serie A and they are unlikely to get any sympathy from an Inter side who have won eight of their last nine in the league.
Bet To Consider – Inter Milan Win
Real Sociedad vs Villarreal
Sociedad hold a five-point advantage over Villarreal in their tussle for European football and the La Real can extend that gap with victory at the Anoeta Stadium. Only title-chasing duo Seville and Real Madrid have prevailed at Sociedad and it’s unlikely the Yellow Submarine, who have won just twice on their travels this term and were hammered by Roma on Thursday, can match their heroics.
Bet To Consider- Real Sociedad Wins
Fulham vs Spurs
Tottenham’s starting line-up is among the strongest in the country but their squad lacks depth and their fringe players could be given a rough ride by a confident Fulham side. Mauricio Pochettino has made wholesale changes in all of Tottenham’s domestic cup ties this season and in the main they have failed to convince so the Cottagers could land an upset.
Bet To Consider- Fulham Double Chance
Chievo vs Napoli
Napoli were beaten 3-1 on their trip to Real Madrid in the Champions League in midweek but the return to Serie A action against lesser opposition should spark an immediate return to winning ways. The Little Donkeys have notched 27 times in 11 away league outings this term, while Chievo have shipped eight goals in their last four home games.

No luck with the scorer bets yesterday after a great run but I’m going to put more up today
One of the most in form strikers at the moment is Dzeko!! He has scored 8 goals in the last 5 games and banged a hat trick away at Villarreal last time out
Dzeko FGS 5/2
Dzeko Brace 5/2
Another player on fire this season is Mertens, the only problem with backing him is that Napoli have a lot of players that can score, the likes of hamsik, Insigne and Callejon but I’m going to risk it as the odds are generous
Mertens AGS 1/1
Mertens FGS 10/3
Mertens Brace 9/2
I like Italy for scorers today and there two more players I think are worth a shout
Muriel AGS 23/20
Muriel FGS 4/1
Eder AGS 17/10
Eder FGS 5/1
Eder brace 19/2
Who do these guys play for nate
Dzeko – Roma
Mertens – Napoli
Muriel – Sampdoria
Eder – Inter
Cheers like the look of this bet.
Eder missed a sitter at 0-0 so all bets on him LOST
Mertens is on the bench so will replace with insigne
Insigne AGS 6/4
Insisgne FGS 9/2
Insigne Brace 8/1

Morning all, poor day yesterday for most punter’s. Let’s hope today is a good one.
I am trying a cautious double at EVENS
Roma game BTTS + Barcelona Over 2,5 Mgs
Although Roma are in fine form I just can’t shy away from the goal scoring threat Torino pose. They have goals in them with the likes of Berlotti and Falque and are just as leaky in defence.
H2H back up both netting in this one.
Barca will be looking to humiliate Leganes after an embarrassment of their own in Paris. This could be a big scoreline so over 2,5 is conservative imo.
Best of luck today people.
When first started on this site had a lot of success with these of bets, had a few 20/1 ish shots so gona try again today, unfortunately odds are but as good now
Basle
Sampdoria
Roma

Morning, hopefully some still have money in the kitty! After reading one or two posts from yesterday obviously some haven’t!
ARMINIA v ST PAULI.
Over 2.5 mgs 13/10.
St Pauli over 1.5 TGS 2/1.
Small stakes: To score anytime.
Klos 2/1.
Sahin 6/1.
Summary:
Have been rather impressed with St Pauli since the return from break and it appears new additions have added new energy going forward. They’ve won both their games scoring 2 in each since the narrow home defeat to a very strong STUTTGART outfit. The victories came against top 6 opponents. Today they travel to Arminia who sit bottom of the table on goal difference to St Pauli! In 10 home games to date Arminia have played their part in 30 goals being netted! Both teams need the points!
Of late, if Arminia score it’s usually Klos , thus 2/1 is great value ( backed him last week and he duly obliged). As for Sahin, well he’s no prolific goal scorers, but St Pauli mini revival coincides with him netting, 6-1 is worth a punt!
Good luck all with bets today ?
Remember guys we are betting over a season not a weekend, bet according and enjoy!
No joy! Klos scored 2/1 but still a loss!
was on klos, then ova 1.5 with tens mins to go, so still gd heads up on
this game, otherwise wouldnt have had a punt
cheers
Morning gents,
The Paraguayan Leagues have started with a bang (and plenty of first half goals!) and the Reserve games are always worth a look-in for goals, often seeing even more than their senior counterparts.

@dc-john-boy . Comment ended up down here for some reason. :/
All have a good chance of scoring at least twice but problem with picking so many always a chance 1 will let you down but has worked well for me in the past & think gona go back to picking team goals more often, just not aways so many
Good luck recoba
Fulham v Tottenham Hotspur
Fulham to win at 3/1 (nap)
This game comes at the wrong time for tottenham the last thing they need is a London derby especially after their embbarassing defeat in europe. This will be spurs third game away from home on the trot and are not very good travellers especially with the injuries that they have picked up for me the home win looks a no brainer you would expect fulham to come flying at them and with tottenham having a european headache and pochettino resting players the home win looks a no brainer.
good luc one and all with your bets.
Still a no brainer, macca?
@markus, he notched up a couple of long shots during the week, how about you complimenting those instead of the negativity you seem so willing to show today! Better still, tip one up yourself!
@warktheline What on earth are you on about? What negativity??? My question here for macca was in response to the line-up, that he didn’t know about when he posted the tip. It wasn’t, in any way, a diss – so how about you sit down again? I’ve complimented macca many times before
Apologies Markus, total misinterpretation of text! All the best.
I think TNS (The New Saints) are a great bet at 6/4 to beat St Mirren today. Unless they’re not taking the tourney seriously or have an injury crisis, I don’t see how they won’t beat St Mirren. The Welsh side have already beaten 2 Scottish sides, thumping Livi 3-0 most recently and there’s very little between Livi and St Mirren as far as I can see.
there wasnt much between livi and tns .. livi couldnt convert there chances , had most possesion, , tns had 3 shots and scored 3 times. this could go either way, st mirren will prob score which will lead to goals, like mr f stated .. goals market maybe best shout .. but your right ,, its a good price,
gd luck
I was reading that about the Livi game somewhere else. I think that shows a mental toughness, a winning mentality, no matter what league you play in you don’t win 27 games in a row without have huge belief. You make a great point about goals, as strong as TNS are they also ship goals so I see the buddies scoring as well. I’ve also backed BTTS and overs. But my biggest bets are on TNS win at 6/4 and TNS draw-no-bet at 4/5
A lot will also depend on how important St Mirren see the game.
Obviously the league is everything for them but a cup final against Dundee Utd is not to be sniffed at.
It’s tough to decide whether TNS are as good as Championship teams so for me goals are the way to go.
ye think your right mr f, st mirren finding a bit of form only defeat in last 5 to falkirk,
next game is next sat, so plenty time to recover, i feel they,ll want to win this
, like u say a cup final agnst d utd ,and tns will want to prove there as gd as,
could be a cracker
Other thing to consider is St Mirren have been better in cups this season than the league.
They are of course through to Scottish Cup quarters where they will lose heavily to Celtic.
Don’t be duped into thinking TNS are far superior to Scottish Championship sides – they’re not.
Superior in the Welsh top flight maybe but they’re a similar/slighty better standard…in fact, I’d argue that TNS aren’t as strong as they were last campaign and are always susceptible to conceding a goal…specialitity being to concede first then chip in with goals ?
Certainly wouldn’t argue with match goals!
I’ll be on two here:
BTTS & OVER 2.5 MGS…EVENS
???
BTTS 1ST HALF…10/3
?
Good luck @baldy45 , Crane and all at it or on it ?
Totally agree – the goals bet are the way to go.
1 up at HT. A 75% cash out will do me for the win bets.
Hopefully see a couple of goals in 2nd half now.
perfect. Now BTTS and Overs have landed :-)

yep. Nice to be on the right side of a cash out :-) Red cards happen. WD with your goals bets gg1a and hull shaker, and anyone else that got on.
Not a great day yesterday my own goals bet well and truly humped over 2.05 goals humped . I managed to get one 14/1 winner on my correct scores that gave me a profit on that bet i will keep that bet going till the end of the month.
My only bets today are penalties scored and missed in the Fulham game 9/1 . 28/1 Fulham. 11/2. 20/1 Spurs
Also doing a sky request bet sending off and a penalty Borussia v Leipzig. 14/1.
No joy, pen in the Leipzig game but no red
Draws bet landed a nice 31/1 treble yesterday so hoping for more of the same today
Borrussia v rb Leipzig
Cadiz v Reus deportiu
Pannserikos v kissamikos
Kalloni ael v agrotikos asteras
4 x trebles
1 x fourfold
All bets to win 221/1
Good luck with your bets
Yeah mac of the four correct scores that i did 3 of them ended up in a draw. i would have been better of betting on that market, such is life.
Superb work on the draws Big Mac ?
Absolute brutal day yesterday and the poor rot continues. My record is as worse as Zola at Birmingham. Struggling to get any momentum.
Hearts DagsRed was supposedly an easy home win double. Hearts drew with bottom of league and missed peno. Dags went one nil down early on then went down to ten men. Tough stuff just now.
Heading off to Denmark today for hopefully a winner. Copenhagen vs bronby tough game as top two battle it out. Copenhagen don’t concede many goals however I’m on Pukki for Bronby to score today.
Pukki anytime – 9/4 with bet365
Kasimpasa to win at 5/1
Kasimpasa had some good results lately fenerbahce should be jaded by their trip to russia on thursday

Nice work Crane ?
Afternoon gents
City let down my 5/1 overs treble and I do think anyone saw that much being a 0-0 bore whilst I was unlucky with my NAP double a goal short despite it being 1-1 with 30 mins to play
It’s a tough card today and I’m always weary of backing teams who’ve been playing in Europe on the Thursday
Struggled to find anything but I do believe I’ve found some value in the Dundee v Rangers game
Dundee v Rangers KO 3.15pm
It’s been corners galore in Dundee last 5 matches at dens with rise games averaging 14 corners – Rangers tend to strike up double figures when it does team corners against the bottom 6 sides away from home and this bodes well for today’s match! In expecting another high corner count here
Back over 11 corners 1/1 (NAP)
Over 12 corners 6/4
Rangers race to 7 corners 8/11
corners bet looking good, 8 so far only 30mins played
that was a cracking spot greg, full house

Good luck all?
Just been doing a bit of work over The Bridge this morning and seems the Grimsby vs Mansfield game saw a fair old bit of fighting between fans.
Apparently, the area around Blundell Park has been absolutely smashed to pieces with houses, shops and cars all damaged in the scrapping.
Police have estimated the damage to in the region of £26.00 ?
haha :) that fight in the street in the papers this week in mid afternoon with a bloke with no shirt on made me laugh
All of you better take Fulham bet off , because Spurs have listed first team players for fulham clash
Best bet was to wait for teams and I advised not taking Fulham when they were revealed.
Whats going on!?!?!?!?
Basel losing…
Aberdeen losing…
Not looking good for my multi at the moment :(
Aberdeen been poor but still time for a winner.
And as I was typing it’s 2-1 Aberdeen.
Wow get in there Aberdeen!
Hope they hold out for the win
How about that Seamus! ?
WOW!!! guess I have some luck tonight!!
Aberdeen were $29 to win at one point too!!! didn’t even think to back them…
Didn’t look likely – Killie stopped them playing but a couple of lapses in the end handed it to them.
Couple of good subscription again from Mcinnes
Eh…substitutes

Lyon v Dijon
Lyon are coming off their superb 4-1 away win against AZ in Europa League and they should take care of Dijon today as they look to get 3 points and stay within top 4 for European place. Lyon are generally very good at home for goals and dont lose many at home ground. Dijon are currently 2 points off relegation and I dont see them getting a result today. However they can snatch a goal against Lyon’s shaky defence. Dijon have conceded 2+ in their last 3 away games and they only have 2 away wins in league this season.
Besiktas v Akhisar
The league leaders will be buzzing after their good 3-1 away win against Hapoel Beer Sheva in Europa League and should extend their lead against Akhisar. Akhisar were hammered 6-0 by Galatasaray in their last away game. A win today will put Besiktas 4 points clear on top.

*Covered stake with under 2.5 barca goals at 4/1 with my luck this weekend!
Hi gents. Had a busy afternoon yesterday so haven’t been able to get on till now. Start with Saturday. Could have been great with a Barnsley goal but that wasn’t to be. It can be frustrating when one selection lets you down, and that was the case on a day where I correctly pointed out that Shrewsbury were a big price at home to Wimbledon, Southend scoring twice against Northampton, and Armenteros scoring for Heracles. I didn’t post anything for today but last week I did post the Genoa goals. Wasn’t even close in a 5-0 thumping for Pescara.
With limited fixtures remaining I won’t jump into anything, and nothing looks worth a gamble tomorrow. I do like the look of Chiapas to score before 66:00 in their trip to Puebla at 10:00PM, but that’s just looking for something.
Some good winners today gents good stuff.
Been eyeing up The Mexican myself Jordan – Puebla just not at the races for a while now although home advantage might give a little more impetus.
BTTS may well be the one for me at 4/5 but, like you say, ccertainly not one to go mad on.
Haven’t been following as closely in Mexico for some time now Hull, but Chiapas are a low altitude team (which there aren’t many of in Mexico) so always get priced low away from home. Beaten three very good teams already (although Tigres haven’t got going yet) two were at home but their win in Toluca (higher altitude than Puebla) who are top of the league, so speaks some sort of volume. Might take the goal before 70:00 depending what price it is when 365 load their in-play markets.
Cheers Jordan – appreciate that and still the main man in Mexico ?
All serie a games over 1.5 mgs again this week folks. Was on it but never tipped it on here, but keep an eye out for it in future. Happens a lot

Barcelona looking poor and shaky at the back, so i feel theres value in Leganes to score @5/2 and will be having a go!
Waiting on the 3rd leg of the Paraguayan Reserves treble at 21.00 but kicking off at the same time, there’s a first team game that might well be worth a wee look…
OLIMPIA VS. INDEPENDIENTE FBC (21.00 KO):
New boys FBC are undefeated so far this campaign. OK, so there’s only been 2 games and they’ve drawn both but 2 points is 2 points!
In all seriousness, FBC were a top flight side when I first started following SA football about 6 years ago and a look at historic H2Hs shows plenty around that time with both sides invariably getting on the scoresheet.
Fast forward a few years and Olimpia are one of the consistently top sides in the Primera having featured in the top two 5 or 6 times in as many years.
They beat the other promoted side Trinidense 0-3 in their only domestic campaign and whilst they are clearly the better side, I think the relative minnows might just make a mark tonight.
Aside from historic reasoning, there is a more relevant and recent factor to sway my thinking; Olimpia go into this one on the back of 3 Copa Libertadores games in 2 weeks with 2 of those being away from home – these guys have covered more miles than Craneguy’s had cancelled gym memberships.
Olimpia ought to win and win well but it’ll be hard to keep a clean sheet against an FBC side who scored so freely last season and have proved they can score away from home against the big boys as they did last week away to SDA.
