IT was a bit of a Valentine's Day Massacre for bookies with results in general favouring punters.
I almost had a perfect day of two Super Single winners and two trebles – I was an Austria Vienna goal short on the both to score treble.
Maybe I should have followed Greg Browning's lead as he napped over 2.5 goals in the Austrian derby and also saw his NB land thanks to Arsenal's last-gasp winner.
And to complete a good day for the headline acts Jordan picked a winning double at just under evens and has three out of four correct on his accumulator.
I put a lot of faith in Spurs and Harry Kane's goal brought up the first SS of Leicester and Spurs to net at evens. The second was a straight Spurs win at 14-5 (0.5pts off for covering) and I almost stuck up Spurs and btts too.
Fiorentina's late winner against Milan landed the Top Treble after earlier wins by Sevilla and Atletico Madrid. Thirteen of the teams I had on my Sunday shortlist won (Marseille being the exception) so it was a good day.
Ahead of a huge midweek card that heralds the return of the Champions League there are a few games to look at on Monday. In the English Championship Middlesbrough travel to Leeds and I've posted a separate preview of Inverness v Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership.
Rio Ave should beat Pacos Ferreira in Portugal and I read a stat that said Pacos hadn't beaten a top-nine side this season which is surprising.
There is a full Jupiler League card in Holland and Jordan among others has posted tips. He's looking for over 1.5 team goals for the likes of VVV Venlo, Sparta Rotterdam and NAC and I wouldn't argue with any of that.
I've had a quick look at some of the matches and my Super Single is from the Jupiler League – a WDW and a goals bet.
Jordan is on VVV for goals but I simply taking the home win at a slightly better price even though Dordecht have ruled the h2h in recent season. However, on current form VVV have to be backed (4 wins in 6) against a side without a victory since the end of November.
The second part of the SS is fourth-placed Eindhoven to score 2+ at home to a Top Oss side nearer the bottom than the top. Eindhoven have won five in a row at home to Oss scoring 2+ on each occasion.
I'm not doing too much tonight but I'm doing a 1pt draw no bet treble on Aberdeen, Middlesbrough and Rio Ave. I'd favour wins for Aberdeen and Rio Ave and while Middlesbrough could beat Leeds I want to keep the draw on side. All about around 1-2 so if they win it's a 2-1 treble – that's opposed to a straight win treble at 7-1.

Although they haven’t picked up many wins they do score goals, especially at home where they have scored 2 or more in 7 of their last games. Their opponents Oxford have hit a bad spell and haven’t won in their last 3 and with 2 losses both coming away from home and also conceded 5 in their last away game.

They are in brilliant form at the moment and on a 6 game win streak in the league and are unbeaten in 10. They are also unbeaten at home and playing a Bochum side who really struggle away from home. picking up just 3 wins from 9 away with their last 5 being DLLLW all loses coming from weaker teams in worse from than Nurnberg.

Yeah Rhodes has a good scoring record against us so I’m sure he will be eager to put in the starting 11. I must admit I can’t see Leeds winning, we just don’t have enough goals in us especially against the best defence in the league, that said though we do seem to perform better against the top teams so we will see, as long as we don’t get hammered ill be happy.
