I KNEW Saturday's card was a tough one but it proved even more difficult than expected.
Well done to anyone who picked a winner – definitely a set of results to put smiles on the bookies face.
Jordan and Greg drew blanks while Desmond managed one winner from three tips. Scott Allot picked two single winners from three with his btts treble a loser. I hadn't realised earlier he'd changed from the usual two trebles to one plus there singles.
My Super Single won thanks to St Mirren at 6-4 but that was it with the biggest disappointment being Everton beating my aways treble that included Saints and Aberdeen.
As most of us bet to level stakes the damage will have been limited and Sunday gives us all a chance to bounce back.
I've put up a Scottish Cup preview that covers the games between Rangers and Morton and Hearts and Hibs and none of those two are easy to call.
My Super Single is revitalised Marseille at a Nantes side that's in terrible form – just three goals in seven games and three defeats without scoring in their last four. Dmitri Payet's off and running and Marseille should return home with the points.
For the Top Treble take home wins for Torino and Sampdoria against Pescara and Bologna respectively. Torino face the basement boys who have lost five in a row and conceded 17 in that spell. Torino have won this fixture by three goals in the past two seasons and should be convincing winners again.
Complete the treble with Hoffenheim not to lose at Wolfsburg. It's still just one defeat this season for Hoffenheim but they've played out 10 draws including one at home to the Wolves. They could win this but I prefer them not to lose.

Young Boys were strong at home as they always are last weekend against Sion, and will now travel to a side they’ve scored twice against in their last four h2h. While the Young Boys will likely concede, there is good value on them to score twice against a side who conceded four goals on their travels against possible relegation candidates Lausanne, and 2+ in five of their nine at home this season. Incredibly the four goals conceded last week were from six attempts at goal, which doesn’t bode well against the second highest scorers in the league. Leicester dont do clean sheets away from home, M’boro being the only team not to score (no suprise there) and have conceded 25 goals from 12 away games.

Looking at the Portuguese league game between Moreirense and Sporting Lisbon. The goals markets look over priced when I had a closer look at the stats.
The home side had a bad start too the season on the goals front,scoring in their first 2 but then drew a blank in 5 league and a cup match (6 in total) but since then they have scored in 16 of 19 games including all 10 home games in that sequence. Only failing too score away at Maritimo,Benfica and Porto. They also conceded in 14 of those 19 games.
The away side Sporting are strong favourites in the match in the WDW markets but have had a very indifferent start too 2017 conceding in all 7 matches so far. They have conceded 2+ in 5 of those 7 outings. Sporting found the net in 6 of the 7 games with BTTS & o2.5gls landing in all 6 games they have scored in. They have conceded in 6 of 10 league games away from home.

I’m not really sure what to expect from Rangers today after what’s happened in the past week. I don’t see there being too much of a change formation wise however a few players might feel they have a point to prove to any potential manager coming in. Last season Morton managed to score in both visits to Inrox and considerimg how poor our defence has been I expect them to score and they managed to score in the first half in each of the games last season.

This is shortening and for good reason. Two of the worst teams in Serie A at the moment, but are Genoa better than Pescara? Probably. Pescara will host Genoa at home and have now conceded 22 goals in their last six and 14 in their last four at home. (Torino currently still thumping them 5-0). Genoa are no thrillers on the road, but they can still score goals with their 3-3 draw at Fiorentina a couple of weeks ago. They’ll also be rested after playing on Friday.

On paper this should be a comfortable away win but the premier league never goes the way you expect it to (well not all the time) anyway.The reason i am personally taking this bet and the main reason is city hate been attacked by the opposition they expect teams to sit back and defend but they won’t get that at bournemouth and even though the hosts are on a poor run i expect them to give city a game.I watched city in their last game against swansea and they were lacklustre to say the least and was very lucky indeed to come away with the points,another performance of that calibre here and city will get punished but i expect them to anyway and the pressure is on city nothing but a win will do for them and maybe it will not be as easy as they think.

Most people will concentrate on leagues where they’re based as it’s easier to get the info they need and also they have some knowledge having been brought up watching certain teams.
