STEVE SIDWELL beat my Super Single yesterday – yes Steve Sidwell. My pick Robin van Persie netted first for Man United by Sidwell had earlier opened the scoring for massive underdogs Fulham.
Man United's shock draw and Juventus being held at Verona were two results that probably made it a decent day to be a bookie.
Monday is pretty quiet with just one game in the UK as Derby host QPR in what could be a Championship cracker. It's fourth v third and a close game is expected with plenty of goals.
Both sides drew 3-3 last week and Derby are the Championship's top scorers with 57 but don't do clean sheets.
QPR have recruited Kevin Doyle and Magida Maiba and both netted on their debuts but of course top scorer Charlie Austin is out long term.
The last three meetings at Pride Park have produced 14 goals – two wins for QPR and a draw – and Rangers won 2-1 at Loftus Road.
Best bet is both to score at 9-10 with William Hill while over 2.5 goals I quoted at 23-20 at Coral and Hills for the Super Single in today's Daily Record. I'm standing by that but it's been cut to a best 1-1 at Paddy Power and Skybet while Ladbrokes no go 9-10.
Both to score is also a shout in the La Liga clash between Celta Vigo and Athletic Bilbao at a best 7-10 with McBookie and that kicks off the top treble. This market has come up for both sides in four of their last six matches.
Last night I said I'd look at the stats for three Dutch second-tier matches featuring home outings for all the Jong teams. They all promise goals but the two I'm picking for over 2.5 goals are Jong Ajax v VVV Venlo and Jong PSV v my old favourites Helmond Sport.
Fifteen of Ajax's last 17 have gone over 2.5 goals as have 10 of Helmond Sport's last 11. I'll be on both – and if they don't come up blame the stats.
Elsewhere Oor Man in Napoli has tipped Brescia to edge out Novara but there's not much else on the go ahead of a busy Tuesday card that features West Brom at home to new Premier League title favourites Chelsea.

Evening all!
NAP and NB landed yesterday for a 3.2pts profit. This is the start of a new week and hopefully the NAP and NB system will continue to serve well. I only have one selection for a tricky Monday card so of course that is automatically my NAP and therefore a 2pt selection.
NAP: JONG PSV V HELMOND SPORT 7:00pm (Dutch Jupiler League)
Helmond are a side regulars will be familiar with after landing arguably the greatest Super Single ever inside the last 20 minutes back in 2013. Today I’m backing them to come good again. They’ve scored 2 or more goals in 9 of their 13 away matches this season including 4 of the last 6. They failed to score against a stubborn Eindhoven side last away match but have scored 2 or more in 5 of their last 7 Jupiler league matches. They come up against a Jong PSV side who’ve conceded 2 or more goals in 5 of their last 6 home matches including in their last 2. They’ve lost their last 3 games 2-1 and a similar scoreline can’t be discounted here. I’m going to go for Helmond to score over 1.5 team goals which pays a decent 5/4.
NAP: HELMOND SPORT OVER 1.5 TEAM GOALS – 5/4
That’s my only selection for Monday, be careful because it’s a tricky looking card. Best of luck to all!
Alex, you quite rightly point out the Helmond legend. Obviously this game was on my radar but it’s one fewer set of stats I need to check. Thanks.
Mr F – 10 more minutes to research for your NAP for the Greg v Alex v Mr F nag NAP challenge ;)
Alex, does watching MoTD count. Any horsed called Sidwell or Stekelenburg running on Monday?
Mr F – I’m still on the search for a horse called Nolan’s Double ;)
What’s the story [in short] about helmond?
Bipolar Bear – From a slightly fuzzy memory, it was in November sometime and Helmond were at home to a terrible Jong Ajax side and were 0-2 down after 75 minutes. The trolls were out big time and were giving Mr F plenty of grief and we needed them to score over 2.5 team goals. They scored 3 within the last 15 minutes or so to bring up a 2/1 Super Single and the amount of comments on here has rarely been so large just giving the trolls hell. Extremely satisfying win indeed!
Ah ok, yeah that must have been great :)
Alex, yeah the bet was Helmond to score 3+ as they had done in most of their recent previous games. Every assumed the bet was down and gave it to me with barrels. But as you say Helmond hit three late goals to land it.
Will be on this Alex, congrats on the NAP and NB yesterday also one to follow keep up the good work!
Repost from yesterdays thread:
Celta Vigo vs Athletic Bilbao (La Liga, 21:00)
NAP – Athletic Bilbao 2+ team goals @ 11/10 with Skybet
Athletic are on a roll in the La Liga and have scored 16 goals in their last 4 league games, including 5 in their most recent away fixture against Osasuna. Celta Vigo on the other hand don’t seem to concede too many goals, but are without a clean sheet in 10 league games so there defence isn’t too solid. Also, the reverse fixture finished 3-2 to Bilbao, so I think 2+ Athletic goals is a decent shout.
Tours FC vs AS Nancy Lorraine (Ligue 2, 19:30)
NB – Tours 2+ Team goals @ 11/8 with Bet365
Tours are fantastic at home and have have scored at least 2 goals in their last 5 home games and average 2.5 goals a game at home. Nancy on the other hand are pretty solid away from home and don’t concede many at all, so this should be taken into account if you choose to back this. However, the reverse fixture finished 3-2 to Tours and I’m going put my faith in the home form of Tours and go for the 2+ team goals.
You guys should also check out the dutch beloften league lots of games tomorrow night goals guaranteed
Dutchman, don’t have time to check everything but any pointers will be welcomed.
Dutchman – I remember Greg’s dad won big on this a couple of weeks back ;)
I’ve had a good look and picked out these two as the best chances of loads of goals.
Jong ADO Den Haag v Jong Vitesse/AGOVV
Jong AZ v Jong De Graafschaap
I’ve put all 9 games in an over 2.5 acca just for some interest too!
Mr f thank you I have contacted Bet365 the guy said there was no deflection at all. I wasn’t aggressive at all. I then asked him to review the tapes he said he did and then he said there was no deflection at all. I said there was a clear deflection and he ended the chat . I copied the chat and saved it as it clearly was a deflection but I feel it’s not worth perusing
NAP Derby v QPR over 2.5 goals. Both teams threatening in front of goal, and like MrF said, Derby are the leagues top scorers with 57, but also have a leaky defence conceding 40. Chelsea’s loan signing Patrick Bamford has scored in each of Derbys last 4 games and Harry and QPR have Kevin Doyle and Maiba available. QPR for me are one of the strongest teams in the championship and I quite fancy the QPR draw no bet, but I’m instead plumping for goals. 11/10 skybet
NB Athletic Bilbao to beat Celta Vigo. Tight match in la liga but they’re scoring goals and held Real Madrid 1-1 last time out. Not great away from home and although Celta haven’t been beaten in their last four at home I can’t see a draw. Athletic to win maybe 2-1 for me. 5/4
I was going to post this myself as my NAP, Derby county are letting as many in as scoring this season! averaging 3.3 goals a game! good to see someone else has tipped it too!
One game for me tomorrow gents ( saving myself for Loyola and Global matches in the Philippine league on Tuesday morning )
Celta Vigo v Bilbao KO 9pm
A few months ago I wouldn’t have touched a match involving Celta – 5 home matches in a row without scoring, since then though they’ve won 3 and drawn one of their last 4 at home scoring 10 but also conceding in all of those matches! Bilbao are having a cracking season – a stat that stands out for me is their inability to keep clean sheets away from home! Having looked back over the last few seasons Bilbao have conceded in 59 of their last 65 away La liga matches (91 %) with just one clean sheet in then last 15! Given Celta’s revival at home you fancy them to score and that for me should ensure both teams score!
Back both teams to score 4/6 ( NAP )
Over 2.5 match goals 4/5
Have posted my thoughts on tomorrow’s match but getting the “moderation preview”
It’s Celta Vigo v Bilbao BTTS 4/6 (NAP)
Over 2.5 goals 4/5
Greg, sorted and I think I’ve sussed out why. Will see if can sort it.
Having probably been one of the few who backed Almeria last night at 19/2, I’m waiting on my weekend SuperSingle tomorrow for a big priced double.
Celta Vigo v Athletic Bilbao
Ibai Gomez Anytime Scorer 11/4 Bet365
6 goals in last 4 games – overpriced at 11/4
Braga B v Farense 3pm KO
Fancy Braga at 6/4 here. Farense lost 4 on the bounce away from home. Braga B won 3 out of last 4 at home. Only 3 points seperate the two in Farense’s favour however the price seems a little large for me.
A nice looking dbl for me the mara….
Derby vs Qpr Btts 8/11
Celta Vigo vs Ath Bilbao 8/13
Getting on early, cause I have feeling prices will come in ..
Paddy power.
Any thoughts on the river plate game anyone?
Bradford PA are my favourite non league team for goals. 11 of their 12 home games this season have gone over 2.5, and 9 out of those 12 have gone over 3.5. There have been 20 goals in their last 5 homes. Stockport’s 11 away games have seen 8 go over 2.5, and there have been 18 goals in their last 5 away games.
Over 2.5 goals is 8/15 and Over 3.5 is 13/10.
Wincast, Patrick Bamford to score first & QPR win 55/1
QPR dc 3/5
Over 2.5 mg 11/10
I’m tending to be looking for trebles paying at around 6x or 7x these days, but I can’t see anything else on tomorrow’s fixture list that I especially fancy, so, I’ll stick to this double paying a bit less on a poorish card…
Greece – Football League – Group 2
Iraklis v Niki Volos 4pm
2nd overall plays 3rd overall.
However, this is Iraklis’s home record. P9 W8 D1 L0 F21 A5. That’s the best home record in the league, of course. It’s worth noting also that Iraklis haven’t lost in 10 games since 18th November. Plus, they’ve only drawn one of those ten games, winning the rest, six of them at home, including beating the best away side in the league, Kassiopi. In their last five games, they’re F13 A1.
Niki Volos are the second-best away side. P9 W4 D3 L2 F13 A6. It’s good, but not consistent or strong enough to suggest they’ll match up to the machine that Iraklis have become in this 14 team league. In their last five aways, for example, Niki Vilos have lost to the 12th (third worst) home side, and drawn with 7th and 8th best home. The sides they’ve beaten are the 9th and 13th best – or 5th and 2nd worst…
The home is 10/11.
Southern Premier League
St Albans v Bideford KO 7.45pm
3rd plays 6th in league places, but it’s 1st v 12th on five-match form, and it’s 4th best home v 11th best away.
In each case, the first of those is St Albans, and the second is Bideford, and it’s St Albans we’re on tonight.
St Albans haven’t lost in eight matches so far this year, winning six and drawing two. They’ve played five of those at home, winning four against 7th, 23rd, 10th and 17th, and drawing with 19th.
Also worth comparing Bideford so far this year – where they’ve played nine, winning four, drawing two and losing three. Pretty mixed, but away, fairly bad, where it’s been W1 L4 F6 A10. They’ve lost to top, 8th, 20th and 7th. The one win was a fine 3-0 thumping of 5th best home Stourbridge on 18th January, but they’ve lost three away since.
This is the first of a league double-header between these sides, and St Albans are definitely gearing up to get up to second in the league – the clarion cry to fans on the site is to get along to Clarence Park tonight and make some noise! St Albans have no injury worries. Meanwhile, on the Bideford site, their big story is still that Saturday’s game’s off, and there’s no preview or even mention of tonight’s game!
The home is 17/20
The double pays at 3.53

Been a crazy betting weekend 4 me. Im doing a £10-1k challenge, started 2 weeks ago. was up to £350 b4 satday and opted for two £175 doubles – chelsea/man city and chelsea/ real madrid, the latter saved my bacon but took me down to £291. Sunday i did schalke single and schalke/benfica double – benfica game off tho so wil just get 2 singles now and will take me up to around £414! probly leave it til tues or weds 4 next bet tho tbh. Very nervous now! – steve
was just checking odds for midweek games and saw Chelsea odds that look good value.
Chelsea -1 6/4 super single
Chelsea second half handicap -1 10/3 (good odds small stake)
Hi everyone, great job mr fixit i’m a great fan of your tips here on. Honestly there are some great tipsters around like Alex, and a host of them. But am still wondering if we could get on some corner betting tips. Seems to be loads of value there, what do u think mr F?
So I’ve had a look at tomorrow’s card and decided to do a couple of small write ups. My second time doing this and my first time (3 out of 5) was beginners luck. Research them yourselves, take them or leave them :)
I start off in the second division of the French league. Tours host Nancy at the Stade de la Vallée du with the teams locked on both 35 points in the 6th and 7th positions respectively. We’ll start with Tours, and entirely different beast at home compared to away. Their home form is the stuff of champions recently, 4 wins out of 5 scoring at least 2 goals in every game and in 2 of those games scoring 4 and 5, as well as beating the current league leaders in the process. They do also concede however, but have only failed to outscore their opponents once in their last 5 in a 2-2 draw.
Next we have Nancy, again their home and away form differ drastically, as seems to be the pattern of the league. Away from home they seem to just manage draws by holding out the opposition, 2 0-0 draws and a 1-1 draw make up their last 3, 2 of which were against a team 2nd bottom and the other just outside it. A 1-0 loss and a 2-1 win make up the remaining of their last 5.
I fancy Tours to take the game to Nancy and break what seems to be a defensive mentality, and take all 3 points.
Next I move to La Liga, where an improved Celta de Vigo host a Bilboa side at the Estadio de BalaÃdos, who’s home and away form differ. Celta de Vigo’s home form has been good with 3 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss. they put 4 and 3 past the weaker sides of the division and 2 past a decent Valencia side. They had a 1-1 draw with Osasuna just below them and further back a 2-0 loss to a relegation candidate before their form improved. However, they have conceded in every one of these games, conceding 1 goal 3 times and 2 goals twice.
Now onto Bilboa, their last 5 away is nothing to shout about, 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses. The losses came against an at the time unstoppable Atletico Madrid side and at the hands of Sociedad in the derby. The draw was away at Sevilla who are a strong attacking side, as I type they have taken the lead against Barcelona and have a resident favorite in Bacca. The wins were against a very average Malaga side and a 5-1 thumping of Osasuna. Now Bilboa have been conceding away, but this is mostly against tough opposition with strong attacking front lines. I think they are by far the stronger side as is shown in the league table where they sit 4th, whereas Celta were not long ago dwindling at the bottom. I feel they will not pass up this opportunity to go 6 points clear Villareal to secure this 4th position.
I fancy Bilboa to take the game to Celta who have a bad habit of conceding against lesser opposition, and coming out victorious.
Troyes result: 13/10
Bilboa result: 13/10
If you put them on and they don’t win, go easy on me :)
Honda – Nice write-up mate, were already on my list but when someone else mentions them, it makes you feel better about yourself haha! Best of luck.
Mr f and guys need some help advice. Had a tennis accumulator yesterday of about 6 matches that all won. Sounds good but I decided to throw man utd in there as well! Shitenhausen!! My question is I will say to the bookies its not utd but some tennis match called off. My handwriting is quite bad and I abbrevited it to man utd. Any suggestions of getting away with it? The women in bookies can be quite dozy and its wirta shot for a few hundred right?
crafty cockney – More like bleedin’ fruit n nutcase. Not a chance of getting away with that. Unless your handwriting is so bad they can’t read the words Man Utd…
Lol honda, feel free to post your tips! And great write up UHT,am on it.
@ Pele, you are welcome, and feel free to post your corner tips,i have been making some quid from corners bet especially those involving man city games! But am still looking for good sites for research, which websites do u use for research? ;)
Hi leo just to show no hard feelings and for all the pain your club is going through footstats.co.uk is a brillant site for all the corner, cards, shots. and a few other markets.
Portuguese 2nd div. Aves v Sporting Lisboa (B). Home win @ 21/20.
My Sunday roundup:
Man U and under 3.5 goals (double your money) seemed doomed from the start, and it ultimately was after Man U conceded again in the dying seconds of the game.
My BTTS acca at odds of 11.48 was one goal short after fenerbahce thought it would be more fun to get a red card instead.
My £10-£1000 challenge is alive and kicking after round one.
My in play gambles were a bit hit and miss, I spotted some good games but just didn’t get the right bets in them. I’ve done some research for today and will post after a write up. On a limited card I think there are a couple of interesting stats!
OVER/UNDER SERIES.
Profit on both the over/under series yesterday … even though I did have some problems posting the second one from the phone. Sorry about that. 25% profit if 3/5 today.

1860 Munich v Fortuna Dusseldorf
1860 games are averaging 2 a game and Fortunas is 2.6 a game. 1860 have also scored in 7 of there last 8 games whereas Fortuna is 7 out of 10. 5 out of last 6 H2H have finished with both teams scoring. Im liking the idea of both teams to score here at 5/6 and thats going to be my NAP
BTTS yes 5/6 NAP
My nap was going to be Derby v QPR over 2.5 goals but scotland73 has already pointed this one out
Honda, good work…but you meant to write Tours not Troyes! I will take those wins and also add the +2 Tours and Btts spanish duel.
A man, or woman, is only as good as his tools and what a couple of tools i have with Novara and Brescia. Lets start in Balotelli’s home town, we can ask his mum for some coffee later;
Brescia first 7 from their last 10 games looks like this;
DDDWWWW. 15 points
Not a L in sight.
Here is Novara;
LDLWWLL 7 points
Last three games
Brescia
DLW 4 points
Novara
DWL 4 points.
Brescia have had the harder three games and Virtus Lan, has been their only blip loss in 10 and are the second best team in form in Serie B
They can also score when they are on the back foot and have had some great games. Scored 33 conceded 24
Novara? Stodgy at best scoring 21 goals in 24 games and conceding 31 goals.
Last time they met in the season was 1-1 but Brescia have improved where Novara have remained.
Its close but its a Brescia win for me at 11/5 on one condition; team news before the bet.
QPR FOR ME AT 27/10 WITH BET365

NAP: TOURS – NANCY 7:30pm (French Ligue 2)
OK, this is 6th vs. 7th im French Ligue 2 but there is an obvious difference is statistics. First, the last time Tours lost a home game was in May 2013. Since then they scored 31 goals in 12 home games (average of 2.58) – 16 goals in last 5 which is 3.2 per game.
Nancy’s last Ligue 2 win was in October 2013 (1:2 with Caen). They scored 1 goals in last 4 away games.
My selections:
Tours – 2 goals or more (got it at 2.4)
Tours – WIN (got it at 2.42)
Haha apologies for mistake, it was late when I wrote that last night ;) Also agree with you on Brescia oor man as per last night
Crafty, hire two child actors, cover them in mud, and then get a cardboard box big enough to sleep in. Go barefoot wearing rags with the child actors carrying the cardboard box and try to pretend you are from russia and only your children speak english and get the children, who are all dirty and muddied and crying to tell the lady the mistake while you look on confused. She may then give you the cash.
Aye and you’ll get a house ,car ,child benefit, free health care without having paid a penny.
Crafty, since we’ve gone all out with suggestions, wear tinted glasses and huddle on a walking stick before you head in. On your way in, bump into somebody and loudly say you’re deeply sorry. You should be home gold.
Cawa I did have a brief look mate but was in a netting 1st thing and forgot to post

France ligue 2 – Tours vs Nancy.
Tours to score 2+ @ 2.37
Tours have been thumping them in at home scoring 2+ in their last 6 home games, and scored 3 away to Nancy when they last went H2H. Nancy have been quite firm in defence recently when playing away but Tours should have enough to break through.
Portugal prem – estoril vs academia
U2.5 goals @ 1.53
The last 3 h2h have all been under 2.5, and whilst both teams have been scoring quite well they’ve also been defending well against all but the best teams. I think they’ll cancel each other out in this one.
your spending all your £10-1k measly profit on to many bets!
pointless!
Hi Greg liking your tips on Vigo for tonight. Funnily enough I was in Vigo last year, only for a day !

St Albans v Bideford
Ill be taking the odds of 5/6 { skybet} for a home win in this 1,home team sit 3rd in the table and are in cracking form unbeaten in last 8 winning last 4 and beaten just once in last 15 lg games. This team have also been finding the back of the net with amazing consistancy scoring at least 3 in 5 of last 6 lg games and last 4 homes reading 3,5,4,4.Away team Bideford sit just 5 points behind St Albans and have had 4 extra days rest with st Albans having played saturday which is a slight concern and explains the decent price but they have lost 3 of thier last 4 games.
Nine of St Albans last 11 games has seen over 2.5 goals come in and over 3.5 has come in seven times in these 11 games in fact over 3.5 has come in 3 thimes in last 4 homes just failing the once in a 3-0 victory in last game.Last meeting was this time last year and resulted in a 4-3 victory for St Albans, so based on the stats im expecting the home win @ 5/6 but ill also be having a look at the inplay markets for St Albans to score 3 + goals and the match goals markets for over 3.5 match goals.
Look out for a team playing tomorrow called Al Kuwait who will be away to Al Yarmouk Kuwait in the kuwait prem lg, away team have an amazing goals record having always scored at least 3 goals per game against all teams below top 5 possitions in the lg { 11 times last 13 games for starters other 2 games were against top 5 teams},ill post more about them later.

Got a small query.
I placed my bet in my local lilles bookmakers .
I got the prices of a in store touch screen price checker and placed the bet within a couples of minutes of righting down the price . Since checking my winning treble av noticed Lyon kicked off at 1pm and I placed my bet at 1.16pm .
Will my bet just be paid on the double?
Or have I got a good case with the screen still displaying the price and am sure they had 1.30 kick off for that game.
Any advice would be welcome .
Jw, if it kicked off at 1pm and you put it on at 1.16pm the best you’ll get is an inplay price so ask them for that. Even if they displayed the price wrong they’ll say it’s up to you to check it. Do you mean Hills?

after a poor day on the football Jimmy Walker turned me a nice 25/1 winner in the golf (i did mention him in the golf thread on thursday along with mahan who finished 6th) so the winnings will be split between Johnbs horses and BTS in the QPR game tonight, good luck if yopur having a bet
@ alanm thanks for the site!
Scott “the cat” – was gonna do your challenge bet but can’t find the Athletic/Sevilla game, did you mean Celta/Ath Bilbao?
AEL V ERMIS
Cyprus Division 1
AEL have an outstanding home record and have picked up 28 out of a possible 30 points at home. You will need to go back to Nov 2011 to find their last home defeat actually.
They have scored 2+ goals in all but two home matches. Only two of their home games have seen less than 2.5 goals
Ermis are a much improved side after being promoted last season. They have only conceding 2+ goal goals in 4 of the 10 game they have played away but 6 of the 10 have been over 2.5 goals.
Their last away game was against APEOL who have a similar home record to AEL and they were soundly beaten 3-0.
AEL to win and over 2.5 goals 2/1 NAP
Do you know how every huge certainty for the last 3 days like yesterday’s Parma or Man utd, Saturday’s Leyton orient, Nottingham forest and man city,Friday’s Le Havre have all lost or drawn? Well they were the biggest certainties of the day and all never came in..a coincidence you might think? hell no.
This is why im not falling for it today. Today’s certainty being Derby Btts and Tours to win.
Im betting on the opposite, that is, Derby Btts No and Nancy draw no bet.
Kanen C
Kanen, I can see the logic. Bookies were battered for a couple of weekends when the favourites all won but they’ve clawed it back. Football betting isn’t as easy as just lumping on all the sure things.
Mr F i know football is not that easy. but i really have doubts about todays top 2 favorites because of so much talk going on about them. Usually when everybody agrees on a certain team to win or btts,it does not come in. Call me crazy but i dont see derby btts and tours winning. Because that would mean 90% of punters were right today and i really dont see that happening. Atleast one of the 2 wont happen atleast.
Therefore im on derby btts No and Nancy Win or Draw
Kanen C
Kanen, if you feel that way you are quite right to back against it. I haven’t mentioned Tours but the way Derby play I’d be surprised if it went under 2.5 or no to btts.
A lot of people doing some challenges now! Can be good if you have the discipline to be patient! Anyway, tried four since Thursday now and completed one so £460 profit. Will persevere as obviously even a small success rate can bring in massive profit! Attempt five, going to crack it this time again,
Monaco/PSG btts
Seville/Barca btts
£5 returned £14.49
Braga/Gil 3rd goal before 80mins
returned £20.29
Braga/Gil over 4.5 goals

Fram / KR over 2.5 goals

Derby NO clean sheet 2/5
Derby always seem to concede and I think QPR will win tonight either 1-0 2-0 or 2-1 to go back into the play-off spot.
£10 returns £14
Damo, i quite fancy doing an Italian Challenge. Just doing italian games and starting from 2-200….ive been noting you and others doing it to see the markets you focus on. The challenge is an inspired idea, I like it.
I would definitely be with you if you were to start an Italian challenge! Like the idea of just limiting it to 200 also. I could never go for the full grand challenge!
Yesevil sorry i did indeed mean Celta de Vigo vs athletic club.
I even double checked the stats to make sure I hasn’t been retarded and looked at the wrong game! I’m going to blame it on the iphone
Troy, what time you posting your top tip?? Been a keen admirer of your win & btts tips and dont want to miss out !!!!
I also added the German game onto the end of my BTTS acca as posted above, although it was in draft just the 3 holland game. So first 3 are Jupiler league the last one is German.
No change to what was posted but I realised I suggested only 3 teams in the acca.
Honestly, it is difficult doing a write up on my phone!
Second Latvian cup game had just started! Taken small overs! Should be goals going by previous matches so far!
Don’t know about other fellow punters but this month has been ridiculous regarding football bets.
The bookies are rolling in it again.
Real Madrid, PSG, Man City, Man Utd, Barcelona, Arsenal, Have all lost or drawn in the last 2 weeks.
FC PORTO, BENFICA, and SPORTING LISBON DONT EVER BACK THEM always 1/11 1/10/ 1/8 on etc and always are very poor!

Man City and Spurs to win, overs/unders goals, BTTS and win….you must choose! Man City are scoring plenty and I thought goals with Blackburn and Spurs as they are both equally disastrous in so many ways.
I think QPR, Venlo and Bilbao BTTS plus win is worth a shout, and I’m also going for Bilbao, Jong PSV , Venlo, Derby and 1860 Munich BTTS.
No prices. Sorry. Goodluck.
You know when you talk yourself out of a bet and it ends up winning at a big price, that was me on both Saturday and sunday. I suppose that’s the way it goes sometimes, hopefully a change of luck will begin today.
Not necessarily calling this a challenge but I’m going to start with 10 and see how far I can go, I’m thinking one bet a day of around evens using my balance as the stake but I’m not sure yet.
Over 0.5 1st half goals double:
Derby v qpr
Celta vigo v bilbao
£10 returns £19
Thanks Scott, I can imagine that a long write up is a pain on your phone
Alasu57,
As most people doing Acca’s are finding out, January has been pretty rubbish for teams finding consistency and there has been several shock results which has played right into the bookies hands. Sooner rather than later, we’ll get it right, take them into deep waters and retrieve some of that cash!
I’ve got a small staked acca already on:
Barcelona to beat Seville (btts and win) WON
Derby to beat QPR (btts and win)
Tours to beat Nancy (btts and win)
A Bilbao to beat Celta Vigo (btts and win)
The odds are ridiculous like 300/1. I never in a million years think it’ll come to fruition but stranger things have happened.
Again, I’ve researched the forums and the stats and on paper these games are filled with goals so who knows. I’ve been on the QPR forum and not only do they have a lot of injuries their own fans believe they are in for a hiding. Derby have no injury concerns and Patrick Bamford would be a great shout for First on the sheet.
I did a couple more small staked Acca’s for a bit of interest for tonight’s fixtures.I’m down for the month but I’m not worried in the slightest as I’m confident I’ll pick up a winner soon and will persevere.
Acca Two
Derby v QPR (Derby win only)
Over 1.5 Tours team goals
VVV Venlo to beat Ajax Youth (btts and win)
A Bilbao to beat Celta Vigo (btts and win)
***Around 84/1 at Corals***
Acca Three
Derby and QPR (BTTS only)
Lugano to beat FC Will (btts and win)
Tours to beat Nancy (btts and win)
Brescia (win only)
A Bilbao (win only)
***Around 269/1 at Corals***
Other Info
I watched 2. Bundesliga match between Koln and Paderborn yesterday on 365 live stream. The tempo of the game is ridiculously high and is literally end to end. Paderborn won 1-0 and defended resolutely after going 1-0 up and are a very disciplined side, counter attack well and I’d definitely consider backing them in the future. Koln, who incidentally are top of their league created lots of chances but couldn’t score for toffee!!!
Great write up Troy..cheers
Solid Double for tonight –
Jong FC Twente v Volendam BTTS 1/2
Jong PSV v Helmend BTTS 1/2
Odds not fantastic but after looking at the history and recent form everything points to GOALS GOALS GOALS !!
No ment liles there a small local bookmaker . Think they had a lot of shops back In the day but sold them to corals that’s what i have been told anyways . Just read there rules and regs and apartently the machine I got the price of is called a bgt live betting terminal so fingers crossed they pay me out on the treble . There the best high street bookies in my town even Better than the big 4 . Best odds all races , no rule4 if less than 15p in the pound, they price match the big 4 for prices on almost everything aswell.
Jw, it’s good to hear about a thriving independent because there aren’t many left. If they’re as good as you say they should cough up, especially if you are a regular.
Yesevil I’d love to do a proper write up for everything but I wouldn’t want to clog the place up, plus I’d be here all day especially with BTTS accas which I hope to make a regular thing if they are successful.
You can guarantee that like Alex, Greg and other top contributors that if I’ve posted it then I’ve researched it, even if it doesn’t always bring home the bacon.
Scott, you’ll be able to do that without clogging up the site when we make the changes.
Three out of four of Mr F’s selections are in my ACCA’s…….the future’s bright!
Derby had something like 28 shots on goal (off and on target) in their last home games against Yeovil and I’d love a 3-2 scoreline again tonight for the Rams.
Troy, form and stats suggest a high scorer at Derby v QPR but sometimes Monday night matches go against the grain. I just can’t see Derby keeping a clean sheet but if they go behind they’ll push for a goal so it promises a lot. I’m tempted by over 3.5 goals too but evens for over 2.5 isn’t bad – and 23-20 last night was even better. I’d have priced it at 8-11 or so.
Jurmula 1-3 77 mins :)
Goals as expected :)
Greg, nice one. Good luck with the naps contest if you take part. Right, I’m off.
Greg, good work again!
What are your favourite leagues for goals btw? Seems you have some less prominent leagues in your favourites list.
Brescia have a full squad for the players im interested in, so i suspect the best 11 is put out obviously to win the game. A win would get them into 7th and that is the least they should be. Novara are once again trying to lift out the red.
Im on Brescia but the odds are dropping a bit.
1pt for a Brescia for a win at 2/1
1 point for a scoreline of 1-1. 9/2
Mr F, I tipped Brescia to win, not Novara!
Brescia 2/1
Team news is fine for Brescia. The players I want there are in the squad.
I also will do a small stake 1-1scoreline at 9/2.
Oor man, sorry I’ll edit.
Crafty, it was a joke, a dry joke, but said with a full gallon of humour.
Simplesoccerstats.com looks absolutely great for content regarding corner stats on the main leagues.
I was thinking of putting together a corners acca as there seems to be demand for it plus it’s another market to try and abuse the bookies on. But I spent 5 minutes looking through the stats and it pretty much fried my brain.
I thought id post in case anyone finds it useful. Craig Alves is the only guy who puts up regular solid corner bets at the moment. Mine tend to be in-play and a bit more hit and miss unfortunately, so I’ve all but given up on them.
Alex, cheers and yeah when people are tipping the same thing or similar it gives you more confidence! Hopefully I’ll be a happy man come 10pm :)
Tonyboy, cheers sir!
Here are my favourite leagues in no particular order!
Phillipine UFL
Latvian versiliga 1 & 2
Estonian 1st 2nd and 3rd tiers
Norwegian lower leagues
Iclandic men and woman’s
Dutch reserves
These will be a prominent part of my betting patterns from March through to September!
When the main leagues finish in May, you have all of these lovely leagues to get involved in! No league is too obscure – as long as theres goals :)
SS looks very strong to me. 4-5 goals in the game my prediction.
Fair enough napoli no harm done…dont give up the day job though, humour Iis as awful as your tips….!!
Oh my.
I’m no Sherlock Holmes, but could the changes to come by any chance be a registration required forum?
Bobbygoodtimes, we have also decided it’s the time – coming soon!

deeky, be more specific. What are you talking about?
£10-£1000 challenge
After a disappointing weekend of shock results and red cards I opted to cash out Bet 5 to keep the challenge alive after an early red card in the Fenerbahce game. This proved to be the right thing to do as the home prevailed with a clean sheet. For those of you following I hope you will use your discretion to achieve success, remember the aim is to get to £1000, it’s not a race. If that means taking two steps back to go forwards then so be it, withdraw is good and deposit is not. My selections are researched and are chosen through heavy statistics which even then are not certain. Take tonight for example Bradford PA have never had a clean sheet at home, but unfortunately no clean sheet was not in the market for me to use and post but will probably be there inplay.
So after cashing out Bet 5 for £14.99 I opted then for Porto and Fortaleza which came in at £21.37.
After careful consideration I have made my selections on a tough and skinny card in my opinion. Both are from the Jupiler league and KO at 1900.
Bet 6
FC Volendam clean sheet NO 1/4
Helmond Sport clean sheet NO 1/6
£21.37 returns £31.16 Good Luck
Am sure liles will cough up as well but you never know. There the best in my area that’s my view .I know when I have asked the big 4 (in shop)if they can match there extras eg best odds and no rule4 they have all said they can’t.
Cheers mr f for the reply.i will pop after work an see if the pay up .
nostril hairs – What the hell are you talking about? If you’re referring to my comment yesterday, you are perhaps the most ignorant person I’ve ever had the misfortune to come across in my life. Do you HONESTLY think that I would actually pick games at random and make up the stats for them? I was being sarcastic to your already ignorant comment yesterday and if you couldn’t see that, you don’t deserve Internet access let alone pass judgement on things written on it.
Alex, apologies for those comments – as you say they’re ridiculous and will be deleted.
Unfortunately I cannot always read the posts as they go up but after reading some of yesterday’s I noticed someone asking about one of selections. I apologise for not being able to reply because of work ( sorry Col). So for the benefit of others I will be more informative of my selections.
With my first tip and winner for the website it was a good day yesterday. It was a 7-4 winner if you missed it.
18.00 Aves – Sporting CP B
Bet: home (1)
odds: 3-2 with various
Game between two teams who have performed fairly even in the league this season. Aves had a small hiccup last week by drawing Benfica B (away) after 5 wins, while Sporting CP B have only won 1 of their last 5 games. Aves have won 6 out of the last 7 home games while Sporting CP B only have gained 4 points in their last 6 away games. Aves have already beaten Sporting CP B 1-2 (away) this season and are strong favourites in my eyes for another win, so 3-2 is too good to ignore.
I will try to post these kind of tips daily in the future if they do well.
Ridiculous comments from buzzy bee and nostrils hair, Alex has been incredibly consistent with his picks for a long time now. Profiting 10/11 weeks so far if I remember correctly
Liking over 2.5 goals in Derby-QPR
Not liking 5/4 about a home team yet to beat anyone in current top six
I’m having a double:
over 2.5 goals Derby-QPR with Helmond Sport over 1.5 team goals (pays over 3/1)
Good luck everyone (need it after recent results….)
Good stuff Mr f but go easy on the fee ;)
Johnny J, it will be as cheap as chips, don’t worry about that. But £100 a week for trolls. Can’t believe Alex is a target – he’s one of the best and most consistent tipsters on the site. Even johnb got criticised last week before landing his 120-1 treble.
I think the key word there is IGNORANT… Obviously they have no idea of the amount of research and thought that goes into your tips Alex, not to mention how you put them on here in such an articulate manner, nor do they know your track record like some of the long timers on here do, i suppose it’s always going to happen Alex as the site grows, some people expect every bet/tip to be a winner, they cant see the long game plan at all, to be honest i was surprised you reacted, the best thing to do is ignore them or be kind and encourage them to give up gambling as they no not what they do…
Davie – I wouldn’t normally react, but my comment yesterday should have sufficed. I don’t think he was trolling, I think he was actually being genuine thinking I selected my games at random!
Appreciate the comments everyone, win or lose I’m safe in the knowledge I tried my best :P
Thanks Mr F for getting rid of him!
On a seperate note, the Beloften games could genuinely all go over 3.5 goals today, with the exception of that Twente game mentioned by Mr F. It’s certainly worth £1 of my money though!
Alex, no worries. I hate to see people criticised who are giving out reasoned tips and spending time putting up posts. All trolls will soon be eliminated and anyone who moans about having to register to comment should remember that’s one of the main reasons for going down that road.
alex and mr fixit 1st tips i look out for forget the trolls guys your tips and in-put are very very much appreciated!
Whats the general consensus for Dutch reserve games? Over 2.5 and 3.5 small stakes?
NAMELESS, personally I’d go over 2.5 on them all but the one I slightly worry about is Jong Twente – the last 3 for example have seen btts but no the four before that.
More or less Nameless, Greg’s yer man for that league, follow his tips and you wont be far away..
Alright thanks Davie-s
hello lovely gamblers. could you please help me and explain what NAP means? it would be much appreciated. many thanks.
Notorious Angry Pirate.
You’re welcome, arrrrrr!
Dave NAP is that persons “best tip” for the day, what they feel most confident will come up as a winner
cheers mate. nice one. what does it actually stand for though?
Worst thing is about ydays suler single is did you not have Sidwell anytime v Shef utd laat week, wouldn’t be that much of a difference in price for 1st man utd scorer probably around 2/1
Craig, that would have been a cracker but don’t think many would have fancied Fulham to score first. I had Sidwell against Sheff Utd but he didn’t start so most bookies voided.
Machine gun Miha!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLQlHQXk_vQ
THE ITALIAN CHALLENGE 200.
Inspired by others testing their limits I fancy doing my own challenge. It could be tricky and I may end up seeing a cold white light in Torino or red in Roma but I will give it a shot.
I decided on 2-200 as it starts low and relaxed. I hope to do it in 14 bets or less. I guess this has an element of patience needed, as Damo stated. Im still following others here on what markets they are using.
Even with tips from last weekend to this weekend until Torino I would have got over 200 so that was under 8 but I will more tempered with my choices. I will look at as many markets as possible but especially double chance, btts, goals, clean sheets etc.
I will start next monday. Bring eggs and a cold bucket of liquid to pour over me if I fail on first attempt.
Oor man, look forward to that. I’ll bring a cold jug of minestrone.
Hi all, just a quick question.
Can you do BTTS and win bet on BET365? Because I cant find it anywhere?
Thanks
Definitely, I thought they would’ve strolled it but not touching them again at least for the 5 games.
Johnny J, (sam fox! Hahaa)
Cooldude, is that a Miha Bullet shot?
I heard he can still crack a free kick in from 40 yards as the speed of light.
MIHA THE MACHINE!!!
Mr F, yep nice and messy minestrone..I look forward to that!
anybody think BTTS on 1860 munchen and dusseldorf is good shout? anyone at all?
hitman, you tell us. I’m too busy zapping trolls.
deandre, or others does anyone know what the basketball tips are for tonite???????
Hodgey bet365 don’t do that market unfortunately.
Hitman I’ve got it in my BTTS acca so I’m hoping it will come in!
lol mr F zapping trolls? im just asking what your thoughts are sir
hitman, I know and I said I hadn’t time to look because I’m zapping trolls.
Ok this kinda goes against what i said earlier about patience needed but I really like this inplay bet and I feel like it’s a good opportunity rather than a rushed bet. Hopefully don’t regret this!
HAKOAH RAMAT GAN VS. BEITAR SHIMSHON TEL AVIV
BTTS 4/5
30.44 to return 54.79
Ramat Gan are being beat 1-0 at the moment but have scored in every home game this season will Beitar have only kept 3 clean sheets away from home and two of those against bottom sides in the league.
Yes hodgry78 go into sub meniu and click in goals and you will find it.
ok mr F no worries
Resuming from yesterday’s bank builder, can’t remember the price but think it was up to £12.**, inplay Iraklis to score in second half YES 4/11. )12 returns £16.36
Munchen vs dusseldorf BTTS
Last two H2H have gone this way, as have 3 of 4 last H2H. Last four H2H have seen over 2.5 goals also.
At home munchen are mostly tucking away goals against all but the top teams, even when they lose. We’ll ignore their 0-0 draw at home to Cottbus in October and assume Cottbus parked the bus (see what I did there?) They’ve scored in 7 of their last 8 league games home and away whilst letting at least one in during 6 of those 8.
Dusseldorf away love to concede a goal, letting in at least one in 12 of 14 last away game. But they’ve also scored in 12 of 14 away games.
I’ve only taken into account league fixtures. I tend to ignore the cup when looking at league performance.
thanks Scott thats great insight there
Guys game starting in twenty minutes Hapoel Akko v Hapoel Tel Aviv looks good for goals esp Tel Aviv goals, i’m not a tipster just drawing some attention to it.. i’m doing a speculative single on the game…
Tel Aviv to win both halves.. @ 3/1
Does this iraklis team have no subs????? Clearly the 11 (1 more than the opposition I mite add!) haven’t a scooby doo !

In-play, Turkish super league and Portugal segunda. Glenclerbirligi vs karabukspor and desportivo aves vs sporting B.
No way are these two games going to end goalless! Over 0.5 ftg double @ 1.85.
Turkish game 2 recent h2h have seen at least one goal, and glenc are scoring really well at home lately. Karabukapor are also happy to concede a few. Though it is Turkish league so 0-0 is entirely feasible.
Portuguese game last 3 h2h have seen over 1.5 ftg. Sporting B have suffered a red card just before half time. Aves beat them 2-1 last time they played each other and have been scoring well recently. Sporting B are only too happy to concede over 1.5 goals to teams both above and below them when they play away, they could even nick one themselves. The only danger is that sporting will shut up shop after the red card.
I’m going to be brave and say small stakes on over 1.5 goals @ 2.5

HAKOAH RAMAT GAN VS. BEITAR SHIMSHON TEL AVIV

Sorry guys, amazing considering they were playing ten men with the stats they my good friend UHT put up I thoroughly expected a goal from them. Will start again with £5 and hopefully get it a tidy sum
MONDAY SELECTION:
Derby v Qpr BTT
1860 Muni v Fort BTT
Jon Twen v Volen BTT
Jon Psv v Helmon BTT
Good luck all
Oor Man. Ill be following your challenge! Lost a fortune the last month. This seems like a good bit of fun and chance to recoup . Good luck to the others who are trying something similar.
Only one game of interest for me today and that’s Newcastle U21 v Leicester U21.
Newcastle U21 are one of my favourite teams to bet on and while I normally look for their away games this one is of interest. All 6 of Newcastle’s home games have seen both teams score, and although they failed to score in their last game against sunderland, that was the first game in 16 where both teams hadn’t scored.
The previous game between these two sides ended 2-1 (it was quite recent) and I’m expecting something similar, with maybe a couple of more goals. BTTS is set at 1/3 and Over 2.5 goals at 4/11 which are quite short, but might be an idea to watch inplay and see if the odds rise if there isn’t a goal in the first 15-20 minutes. Might be ideal for challenges aswell.
Best of luck :)
Bet 5
Hapoel Acre Vs Hapoel Tel Aviv
Time of first Tel Aviv goal before 70mins **WIN**
54.79 returned 79.14
Will keep watching this game as it has all been Tel Aviv so far so may be good for another goals bet.
I took goal before 80th minute at 1/2 and then closed the window (it was after I made the Newcastle post). Next thing I know you’ve posted that they’ve scored – excellent news :D
Scott the cat you confident about tours doing the biz tonight then?
Tjank you davie s for pointing out tel aviv game. Got 2/1 to score both halfs after 15mins played. Just need 2half goal but they are dominating fingers crossed it continues
aye Andy i’m watching it on my lappy it’s all one way traffic, i like the look of your 2/1 to score both halves, akko will need to come out a bit in 2nd half, should be more goals…
EVERYTHING I BET ON LOSES..
Iraklis – not lost at home yet this season.
Until I bet on them.
Athletico Madrid, on fire.
Until I bet on them.
Now, Ankaraspor, top of the league, losing to virtual bottom of the league.
AEL was a bit of a dud so sorry if anyone backed but at odds of 2/1 we only need 50% strike rate for profit.
Wee 5 fold I’m on for tonight
Over 2.5 PSV Reserves v Helmond Sport
BTTS FC Twente Reserves v FC Volendam
BTTS Derby v QPR
Over 2.5 Bradford P A v Stockport
BTTS Celta Vigo v Athletic Bilbao

jong PSV & Bescria both doubble chance!!
Hitman I do think tours will score over 1.5 which I guess gives them a good chance of winning. At home tours have scored the following number of goals, first number being the most recent:
5,2,4,2,3,2,1,3,2,3,1,2. In their last 12 home games.
Nancy last 3 away games have only seen one goal scored against them but two of those clean sheets were against teams in the bottom four and the 1 goal was from an angers side that’s really struggling to put many goals away lately considering their league position. Nancys last 7 league games away before those 3 have seen at least one goal.
Nancy are keeping the goals down lately for sure but given the recent goal spree by Tours and the fact that they beat nancy 3-2 in the reverse fixture last year suggests they’ll get over 1.5 goals. And given the odds I’m having a bite of that.
Nancy are quite capable of scoring 1 or 2 so i personally prefer Tours goals instead of an outright win.
£5 free bet club @SkyBet returns £82.41
Derby v QPR – BTTS
Stoke v Southampton – Lallana anytime
West Brom v Chelsea – Chelsea win
Leyton Orient v Bristol City – Orient win
Top goal scorers for Tours are Delort, Kouakou and Ketkeophomphone with 24 goals between them so you may want to wait for the team sheet before placing your bets.
I just checked line up news and yahoo Eurosport says all 3 of those players are in the starting line-up, also includes their 4th top goalscorer Adnane (3 goals to his name).
Sporting B really shut the door on that game, maybe I should stick to pre-planned bets they have (so far) produced a better outcome!
Are tel aviv still looking like adding to their goal tally davie
Hapeol Akko have just scored and have been a bit better this half but they couldn’t possible have gotten any worse than the first. Tel Aviv still creating a few chances though.
1-1 now andy so your bet looking good
A quick one to ponder on. Derby win btts is 4/1 OPR win btts is 6/1.
alva, to do that you’d need to cover btts and draw too.
I posted these two last night as the best chances for goals in the Dutch Beloften matches:
Jong ADO Den Haag v Jong Vitesse/AGOVV
Jong AZ v Jong De Graafschaap
Both of them had over 3.5 goals it paid a decent 2/1 double!
So far so good, in terms of dutch goals :D
Alex, both beloften games you tipped went over 3,5! was on them, great!
Damo you think Akko worth a couple of quid at at 22/1?
Sorry just saw this, yea I stuck a fiver on them but only at 10s. Hope you got on at 22s that is some price for a home team at 1-1.
Gotta love the dutch leagues’ attacking football or crap defences lol. 26 mins in and 6 goals in 3 games!
Anyone eyeing up tomorrow and Wednesdays games? So many away teams playing that have a good chance of winning
Can u adam and eve it. Just looked akko they were 18/1 to score next and didnt put on. D’oh
Bet Your Bottom Dollar, what’s your next gamble so I can avoid it?
St Albans
HA £2 at 25/1 sorry Andy i want Akko to hold on now lol
Woo, Ankaraspor goal before 80 minutes, so glad I never took them for second goal. Need to thank Bet Your Bottom Dollar for pointing that game out to me.
It’s the proverbial game of two halves Andy..
3-2 acca would make usbothhappy davie. At least u went with gut whereas I dallied
I have the advantage of watching the game Andy, it wasn’t so much gut feeling as an over price by the bookies that was worth a wee pound or two…
Good work damo and davie!
They were atrocious in the 1st half Andy but came out 2nd half all guns blazing and went for it, put it this way at 1-1 they were offering Tel Aviv at 11/4 or Akko at 25/1 to win i know what one i’d take even if i wasn’t watching the game lol, we will get them next time mate..
Yeah I thought similar but thought they must of been that bad and fluked first.
Hoping joey barton decides to slice through someone before 37th minute
Swings and roundabouts. Just look at man city at norwich.
I bet on St Albans too. They’re already losing!!!!!!
Why do you need capital letters to say something?
When you get your free bet can you tell us what game you’ve used it on?
JP, stop commenting about this. It’s being dealt with – and I’ve said nothing to do with me.
Bedford town haven’t won in 24 games. I think it’s worth taking Hitchin Town Draw no Bet at 8/11 in play. Current score Hitchin Town 0-1 Bedford Town 12 minutes in.
WHOS USING CAPITALS HSTA?
Ah. I. See. My. Nemesis. Capital. Letter. Man. Is. Back.
Yours,
Punctuation. Man.
Liles paid out the treble no fuss so must of been a bip price I had taken .
Only the one bet for me tonight volendan bts+win 13/5 so looking good so far
Taking Bradford PA Stockport Over 2.5 @ 4/5 in play, only 13 mins in and it was 1/2 before kick off.
I see Jong PSV have Wijnaldum in their team tonight, it’s pretty hard on the other teams sometimes when big players like that are allowed to play whenever the club wants.
Mr F am I missing something here
cooldude, not it’s me. Wrong dude. Apologies.
Evening gents, posted my thoughts on on the Celta Vigo match last night!
It’s all about the Philippine matches tomorrow morning – last week was tremendous and it should get off to a great start this week!
Global v Socceroo KO 9.15
Socceroo claimed a terrific 3-3 draw against top dogs Loyola which was a real shock! They almost won it having lead 3-1! It’s another tough game for them as they play global who are great shape after winning their last four 4-1 9-1 3-1 2-1! Despite their good result on sat they have conceded 24 goals from just 7 games and that’s the reason they are sitting on just 5 points! Given Global’s scoring power and Soceroo’s defensive problems their should be goals! Likely to be similar markets to sat!
Loyola v Pachanga KO 11.30pm
The hosts invincibility came to end on Sat ( see above) they play a Side who lost 4-1 last week to global and this is just as tough if not tougher! Loyola have scored at least three goals in each if their 6 matches this season, they should do so again tomorrow!
Goals for both of these matches!
Greg , Danish reserve game at 1 pm too.
Nostril hairs and sexy sailor, I thought I had the best name until I came across ye.
Number of cards in play over 3.5 8/11is looking good the way barton and co are looking for a fight
Mr F, theres no dude like cooldude!
I knew I should’ve gone for FC Volendam over VVV! Always go with your first choice……..
VVV have capitulated against Ajax Youth!
Troy, problem is of course the Jong teams often play some first-team players in the Monday games so maybe Ajax have a strong side out. That’s why with these games I go with goals and need one more in the Helmond game – the one I was most confident about.
Hitchin Town 3-1 Bedford Town. Rather quick turnaround. Thought that DNB looked overpriced.
Mini duffman that was a top shout with hitchin, now 3-1 up
Red card St Albans. Man, am I jinxed.
Bet365s cash out option really is a joke.
Soon as things turn in your favour they take it down!
Yup or the cash out button doesn’t work. That cost me last week
St Albans 2nd Red card. LOL
Yep did it to me last night with 30 mins to go on a double once one came in and other looked likely. Then brought it back with 5mins to go when not worth cashing out when second part of double wasnt materialising
2 red cards for st albans looks to have scuppered my chances in that 1, pity the dtats didnt point toward that happening 1-1 HT
Mr F – lesson learned! I suppose I don’t know enough info prior to kick off to make an educated decision.
Jong Twente on the other hand are getting beaten 4-2!
Time for Tours to get their scoring boots on and Nancy to nick a consolation.
There should be more goals in the Derby game.
Troy, hope you’re right about Derby and QPR come out swinging.
Well there’s the Nancy goal…….no more now please! Come on Tours!!!
Wee bit early but some thoughts on the overnight games
Chile Primera B
Union San Felipe vs Coquimbo Unido 11pm
Home team sit top of the North league in the Clausura 1st phase with 10 points from their opening 4 games and they actually have a game in hand on most sides as well. Union have a 100% home record with 2 wins from 2 scoring 6 and conceding 1. Unido sit 5th from 7 but again have a game in hand (tonight’s game) so should they win they’d go joint second. However in their only away match in this phase they lost 3-0 to bottom of the table Magallanes
San Felipe to win @1.80
Conception vs Barnechea 11pm
The home side are 2nd while the away sit 5th but only 2 points separate them. Conception have won their only home game and Barnechea have won their 2 away but all these were against the poorer sides in the league so don’t tell us much. Barnechea are partly lower in the league as they were beaten by the league leaders who the home side are yet to face. It’s the H-2-H which sways me to the away side who’ve won 4 of last 6 ( including away twice) and drawn the other 2.
Barnechea to win @ 3.00
Colombia Primera A
Fortaleza vs Junior
Fortaleza were promoted into this league and have found it tough going so far having lost the first 3 games. Junior sit 5th have played one game fewer than most above them and will go second with a win tonight – they’ve won their only away game so far and I’m backing them to add to Fortaleza’s miserable start.
Junior to win @1.95
Booooooommmm
Hahaha 3-0! Got to love late Helmond drama
Hsta, kept us alive did good old Helmond. Bad vibes about the Derby game with QPR not looking great.
Jong PSV you beauty!
If only I had taken Brescia :)
Keep it tight Brescia, i dont want to take away a cuddly toy
late goal in the jong psv game sweating now on celta btts for the top treble
I hope they both score early so i can get off to bed!
I hope they both score early so i can get off to bed!
I blame your jinx ;)
Me too.
Lets see if I can jinx some heavy faves. See my final bet below!!
Celta Vigo v Athletic Bilbao

O1.5 Bilbao goals 11/10 William Hill
Sorry for late post
Good luck if your having a bet
Last £60 is going on

Van Gerwen to beat Thornton
Barneveld more 180s than Newton
£60 returns £500.
Braga B v Farense 3pm KO
Fancy Braga at 6/4 here. Farense lost 4 on the bounce away from home. Braga B won 3 out of last 4 at home. Only 3 points seperate the two in Farense’s favour however the price seems a little large for me.
Full time: Braga win 3-0. Glad this came in as I really liked the stats behind it and as I said the price was nice, hope someone got on it, unfortunately I am in a double with BTTS in the QPR game – why didn’t I single my own NAP?!
Brescia draw just in case at 4/1. Happily do that since the odds were 11/5 for Brescia to win before the match.
Oor man, yeah good shout on Brescia.
Number of cards in play over 3.5 8/11is looking good the way barton and co are looking for a fight – won – thank you mr barton and your merry men
you covering this derby game mr f?
Johnny J. can’t really cover at 1-0. Need another goal. Just covering my eyes.
Im covering the Brescia game at 5/1 draw
already on it oor man ;)
I shat it long ago about 70min, cheers for the tip mate
Glad I couldn’t find the Newcastle game in-play, finished 0-2. Two in a row they haven’t found the net, that’s a drought for them.
Ahah…your safe in Serie B until hell breaks loose around 80min+
Absolutely zero point in either of these sides getting promoted both utter garbage! This has just been a kicking match. Very sore viewing!
Sparky, it’s too often the case on Monday nights. Disappointed in particular with QPR. You can’t criticise Derby for just doing enough to win.
In defence of derby Paul at least they have some potential with good youngsters and like you say they got the lead and were entitled to defend it. QPha as my Chelsea friends like to call them on the other hand well that’s another story. Just a bunch of failed prem league players on inflated wages. Never see Harry nurturing any young talent.
HELMOND DO IT AGAIN! But not for me unfortunately!
My NAP didn’t come close so it’s a losing start to the week, makes me wish I’d gone for my second selection…DAY OFF! :)
To all the experienced heads on the site. Is Feb usually a tough month speaking from experience? Also, well done oor man, if only I had taken them instead of the ‘better’ things on my shortlist :) However, Bilboa may provide a little profit yet…
I’m on Bilbao!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! :)
Jus kidding!
i know wis hoping you knew somatt i didnt….just went for qpr next goal mate. in it to win it ;)
you be back the morra alex no doubt in your ability, too good for a day off
Bet 6
Celta Vigo V Athletico Bilbao
Athletico Bilbao clean sheet NO
79.14 to return 124.36
off the post vigo! getting bad vibe off this celta game, going for a small no goals early doors now
Really fancied goals in that Derby vs QPR game but it wasn’t to be!
Also disappointed Tours didn’t manage to get a 2nd goal to bring up my NB after taking the lead in the 2nd minute. Hoping for a couple of Bilbao goals in the second half to save the day!
I was lucky to break even last week, and this week certainly hasn’t started well! However the week is young and we move on to tomorrow :) You seem to be doing good with the horses however, you bet on football?
Honda, January in my experience is the worst month – so far February hasn’t been much better. Already Paul O has had a dig about the Super Single – but everything pointed to goals tonight. Unfortunately QPR had an off night and Derby didn’t need to do much.
Next time Honda, bet on the one you ask me about as they never lose the next day!
Consider it lesson learn ;)
Mondays round up:
My double your money bet crashed again and I think I’ll scrap this, it’s pretty much a super single (a single over odds of 2.0). I take my hat off to Mr.F for his successes last year with the super single as it’s really not easy at all.
My BTTS acca was let down by one goal yet again, by a Dutch team of all things! I’m trying to place BTTS accas at over 10.0 odds (although today was a little over 6.0) so we shouldn’t need too many successes to turn a decent enough profit.
My £10-£1000 challenge totally flopped with neither of my two bets coming in, so after a promising start I’ll be giving it a go once more tomorrow.
One out of two of my bets of interest came in, I’m surprised the Tours bet didn’t come in considering the stats so onwards to tomorrow…..
I wasn’t having a dig Mr F but if that’s the way you see it then fair enough…
Paul O, it looked like it to be honest but if you weren’t fair enough.
Honestly didn’t see Nancy scoring 3 tonight, but i guess that’s how it goes sometimes
Hahahaha,@Bet Your
Bottom Dollar, reading your comments kinda makes me laugh, coincidentally i was also on those matches you posted, errrm thanks for posting your next “acca”,i will try and avoid them, and can you always do this? So i can affoid the team you are betting on,or bet on the opposite? ;)
No-probs.
Happy-to-oblige.
I see Steve the Pirate’s got a job advertising Maryland Gooeys cookies on tv.
LOL FATHEAD,
I saw that too!
I just cashed out an overs bet on the Celta game so hopefully that will inspire a late goal rush.
Like those 3 SA choices, Richard. I’m on!
At Bil will score….I can hear the crowd cheering in my head…..
Oor man, that may just be too much celebration wine :) If you drink wine that is….
A tenner after 35 mins for one goal in the Celta Vigo game to win a nifty £2.00. Can’t even get that bit right.
After losing £90 over two Spanish games this weekend for a goal to be scored in the game (both finishing 0-0 and both tipped by the highly-respected The Chief, I may have to go my own way in future).
My doubble up Bet is in!!
jong PsV and Brescia both doubble chance…
Good call Craigdon on Braga, not an easy pick.
Doesnt look like Boooooooom for me but moooooooob on Ath Bilb
glad i took the no goals at half-time on got a little back from a big hit their. untill tomoz lads cheers :)
Cheers to The Dane for 3 out 5! Most welcome profit in these lean times.
Johnny J was right… no goals…..
Dark times in the world of football punting it seems, however, I see light ahead!
Honda, don’t know. Looks a tricky card tomorrow. In English league football there are just three odds-on shots – Chelsea, Watford and Orient – and that tells me to take easy.
Aye, not an easy one tomorrow but all things in life go through motions, and a motion of good fortune is on the horizon…
Haha no drink Honda just wishful thinking with the bore draw….
I think most of us were thinking wishfully oor man. Tomorrow is another day. Recently (this month specifically) I have decided to judge my fortunes based on a monthly basis. However, I understand most people do it week by week. Anyone else have any thoughts?
Cheers UHT – a couple of shorter priced sides than I’d usually like but from a limited card thought they were all reasonable.
Well challenge downed by the Celta Vigo game, don’t think many people saw a 0-0. They had a great chance to score in the very last second of the game as well. 3 or 4 more bets and would have been there.
So far staked £50 returned £500.
Let’s go again.
Bet 1
UNIÓN SAN FELIPE VS. COQUIMBO UNIDO
over 0.5 fhg
10 to return 15.71
In play
I was researching this for tomorrow then realised it just kicked off.
Patriotos boyaca vs atletico huila BTTS @ 2.0
Boyaca have slotted one in during pretty much every home game last season including against atletico. They’re pretty pants but a home goal is a home goal!
Athletico were shocking last year especially away. But they got hold of two new strikers just before Christmas and have scored in their last 3 away game and scored in every game so far in 2014.
At a price of 2.25 it’s worth a nibble
Only watched a wee bit of the Derby QPR game and what I seen QPR were shocking, should’ve just left itvalone as planned but onto tomorrow and hope that’ll be enough shocks to last til the end of the season. Orient are a great price at home at 4/5 to Bristol City and can see them by at least a goal, maybe covering -2.
Bank Builder BET 1;
Hull v Southampton – Hull NO clean sheet
Orient v Bristol City – Orient double chance
West Brom v Chelsea – West Brom NO clean sheet
also doing Lallana anytime Orient win, -1, -2 and Southampton win singles tomorrow.
£5 returns £9.37
Just in from work & was a bit shocked to see my btts dbl not even hav a look in!
Derby&Ath bibao games …
But it looks like a lot of other people r in the same boat eh ..
Ah well as they say ….
Back to the drawing board! Lol
