Decided not to bet last night, wasn’t a huge fan of the schedule. Having said that my lean of Rockets -12 landed with quite some room to spare lol.
Had a little look at tonight’s games, and one line that I’m finding difficult to work out is Grizzlies -1 (PP).
Denver Nuggets are on a b2b with a few guys either out or questionable.. Will Barton is out indefinitely, Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and Emmanuel Mudiay all questionable.
Grizzlies have had one day rest and no real injury concerns.
A line of -1 would make sense if both teams were healthy and rested, as it was -4 @ Memphis earlier in the season.
Going to look a bit deeper into this, but Grizzlies -1 looks a sound bet atm.

Just having a look over todays Euro card and there’s just a handful of game. A short research and I’ve come up with a Euro Cup double that should stand a good chance….
Kuban entertain G Canaria in what should be an interesting encounter. Canaria are a good Spanish outfit and deserve respect but Kuban have really impressed since changing coaches and are currently on an 11 game win streak. They’re well known for their defensive abilities but have looked equally as good of late in their offensive play. Kuban should make it their 12th win.
In the later tie, Valencia entertain Cedevita in what should be a high scoring encounter. I was tempted by the overs here and although I’m not a fan of double results I do believe its the safer bet as I expect Valencia to dominate and control the game from the off.

One play away from a full-house yesterday! Kuban had an awful 3rd Quarter but managed to level things late in the 4th. Unfortunately they decided their best play with 32 seconds on the clock was to foul out and let Canaria take two free-throws. I’m no coach but given Kubans strong defence, I would’ve thought making Canaria work for their two points would’ve been the best play.
Big wins for Fuenlebrada & Raanana eased the earlier frustration.

I could maybe understand this if the game had been end-to-end scoring on the majority of possessions but Kuban had already limited Canaria to 66 points, which as you know is a very low score, even for Euro hoops. Why they didn’t trust their defence to make Canaria take at a pressure shot at the very least I’ll never know.

Euroleague Basketball (Thursday)
CSKA travel to Istanbul to face Fenerbahce in what should be a very interesting encounter. The Russians will be out for revenge after losing at home to Fener 79-95 after ET. Since then (5 weeks ago) Both teams have had contrasting runs – Fener are hot and free scoring, whereas CSKA have surprisingly lost 3 from 6 in the Euroleague, which by their standards, just isn’t good enough.
After a series of low scoring games it’s time for CSKA to step things up and get back to their usual high scoring ways. They still average 87.5 ppg this season and could easily exceed this total against Fenerbahce.
Fener have found their rhythm recently and I’d expect them to stay close to the Russians which could early lead to a scoreline of 85-90 or thereabouts.
CSKA have suffered some injuries recently – Teodosic was out for few games, but with De Colo back and no other injury concerns, this game will end CSKA win at generous odds.

Tournament starts today at 1pm. Allen’s toughest game in his quarter is potentially his 1st round game against Day. After that it could be Walden who hasn’t shown much form recently. I’m not the biggest fan of Allen but he should be good enough to get through this quarter.
Fu is the form man in snooker at the moment. Again, his 1st round game could be his toughest against a streaky Gilbert. Bingham is also in his quarter but he hasn’t done much in recent times. Expect Fu to come through this and also continuing his run of centuries which I’ll be backing whenever he plays.
Gould is having a really poor season. He has reached only 1 QF, which he only needed 1 win to get there and 1 other L16 way back in August. Jones hasn’t been spectacular himself but he did reach the QF of the UK Championship at the start of December. Gould has a strong H2H record but Jones did win their most recent game and I think he can make it 2 in a row.
Also on Kohli top Indian v England today @ 9/4 William Hill. Hope he can put on a show on his home ground
