EPL LATEST

IT was another bad day for Chelsea who have now failed to win any of their last four Premier League game.

The Blues are playing like anything but champs and have been pushed out to 2-1 with William Hill to win the title.

Boss Carlo Ancelotti is 5-4 to leave the Bridge before the start of next season and 4-7 to remain in charge.

Chelsea are 12-1 with William Hill to fail to win any of their next four league matches and 7-1 to finish outside of the top four. Their next four games are tough ones against Spurs (a), Man Utd (h), Arsenal (a) and Bolton (h).

Having been short-priced championship favourites Chelsea are now 7-2 to finish second, 3-1 third, 7-2 fourth and 7-1 lower than fourth.

Arsenal are the new leaders thanks to a late winner from Sammy Nasri but are 7-2 third favourites for the title with Man United, who didn’t play yesterday, now 13-8 jollies. Man City are 8-1 with Spurs 28-1.

Meanwhile, there are two matches in the EPL today with Sunderland at home to West Ham and Newcastle travelling to West Brom.

The Hammers head north after a stunning 4-0 Carling Cup success against Man United but don’t be fooled by that result.

United fielded a reserve side and gave away cheap goals and West Ham won’t get it as easy against a Sunderland side who know home form is they key to their success.

The Stadium of Light outfit are a best 10-11 with William Hill and Ladbrokes and that looks decent value against the Londoners who have moved off the foot of the table on goal difference after Wolves’ 3-0 defeat at Blackburn. West Ham are 17-5 with Chandler.

It’s tougher to call at the Hawthorns where promoted clubs West Brom and Newcastle fought out a 1-1 draw last season. They have carried their form from the Championship into the top flight with Newcastle starting the weekend in ninth and the Baggies 12th.

Newcastle’s results have been up and down while West Brom lost two of their first nine, took one point from their next five then stopped the rot with a
4-1 win at Everton last weekend. But that was followed by a Carling Cup exit at Ipswich although boss Roberto di Matteo played a weakened side.

That result proved the unpredictability of the EPL this season and I’m sitting on the fence with this one and going for the draw at 9-4 with bodog among others.

I can see both teams scoring and that pays 4-6 with bodog. Andy Carroll is 6-1 to bag the opener but again I like West Brom’s deadball expert Chris Brunt at 9-1 with Coral.
