ENGLAND’S Premier League hasn’t been a bad place to go for this market this season but looking at the six Saturday’s games there aren’t any that stand out.

So I’m focusing lower down the leagues and starting with Blackpool v Watford in the Championship. Blackpool have started life under Michael Appleton with two score draws and this could be another.

The Tangerines have scored in their last six but kept just one clean sheet and they’ll need to be on their toes against a Watford side who hit Leeds for six on their last road trip.

Gianfranco Zola’s side are playing some good stuff and after three wins in four this should be a decent advert for the Championship with a few goals hopefully.

Staying in the Championship and I’m taking one that at first glance looks risky, Barnsley v Cardiff. Barnsley ended a run of three games without a goal by drawing 1-1 at Bolton last week – and the striker came from comeback hitman Craig Davies.

The player, who netted four on his previous appearance at Birmingham, has been badly missed and his return coincided with an improved display and fine goal.

He’s Barnsley’s talisman and a Cardiff side who have been magnificent at home but only ordinary on the road where they have conceded 18 goals in eight games – more than any side in the top half – will need to be aware of Davies. Cardif have scored in their last six so should oblige again.

Next I’m looking at Yeovil v Carlisle in League One. I featured the Carlisle game in midweek after reading Brunton Park had seen more goals than any ground in England this season and they were duly beaten 3-1 at home to Doncaster.

Carlisle’s last seven have featured both to score as have the last four meetings of these sides. Yeovil have kept three clean sheets in six games but in the other three conceded 10 goals so hopefully this is one of the defence’s bad days.

Next it’s down to League Two and Dagenham v Fleetwood. There have been five goals in each of the Daggers’ last three games with two 3-2s and one 5-0. Four of Fleetwood’s last five have seen both scoring including a 2-2 on their last away outing at Exeter.

Finally, complete the line with the aforementioned Exeter who tackle a Rotherham side from whom you don’t know what you’re going to get these days. Steve Evans’ men were stunned 5-0 at Dagenham but bounced back with a 4-2 win over Cheltenham then 3-2 defeat at home to Wycombe.

So there’s been goals galore at both ends and having hit eight in their last four Exeter will look to exploit the gaps.

Both teams to score

Blackpool v Watford

Cardiff v Barnsley

Yeovil v Carlisle

Dagenham v Fleetwood

Exeter v Rotherham

I like those five English btts suggestions. Barnsley let me down in recent weeks but the Cardiff game has a ‘3 goals or more’ look about it so I will invest. Might stick in one of the Scottish selections for a 6 timer.

MysticClegg, if I had to pick just one of the Scottish it would probably be Brechin v Forfar.

Any team to score 2+ against carlisle is almost a cert these days.we have had a loanee defender from man utd for the past 3 weeks and never played him.signed another defender called Valentine yest from derby-prob won’t play him.anyway we are keeping joe garner for another month too.he’s got most of our goals recently so to score anytime maybe worth a few quid

Ferko i’ve put a £10 double on livorno to beat novara away and creteil to also win away at bourg peronnas

    • Willie McGuire 6 years ago

      Dave unlucky wi that double

Creteil have been great of late, but conceding a late equaliser tonights is a sore yin.

Livorno scoring in injury time gives me a 6/4 super single ! Great price!

Bigals, no reason. Is there an option to do a fivefold instead of accumulator. I’m assuming you have picked five and if so you’ll need to call the helpline as it’s obviously a valid bet.
